Need help connection my laptop to a tv!
I have a hp Pavilion 67-1260us. The screen on it got broke a year ago, it is broken so bad that I can't see anything on the screen. I have connected it to an external monitor and it worked. Now I am trying to connect it to my samsung tv. I am using a HDMI cable to connect it, but my tv just keeps telling me there is no source. I have followed all the directions in the tv manual for connecting a computer and tried the fn and f4 keys on my laptop but I still can't get it to connect. Can anyone tell me anyway that I may be able to get it to work.

Yellow is MUSTARD
I was always advised never to buy a HP computer. However, I liked the look of one and decided to take a chance. It failed twice in 8 months. After a while HP decided to send me a new computer but a different model - supposedly better in many aspects. However, yellow is MUSTARD. I have contacted HP about this but they say that it is normal, and they won't do anything else about it because it has not been reported as a defect. Funny though how Lenovo dealt with this issue via a BIOS update on their computers with the same RGBW screen. The case reached Quality Control but they say they can not do anything else, so I am left with this computer with an original colour spectrum. Thier customer service is useless!
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Connecting laptop HDMI to TV
I have a HP Pavilion g series W7 that will not connect to my Samsung TV by HDMI. I have tried several times and played with the desplay settings. I've tried to extend the desktop, I tried to duplicate the desktop and it will not display. I have tried all three HDMI ports on the TV and selected the input/source button. All that displays on the tv is to check the cable. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

problems with technical support
HP has poor quality in the Tech Department. I have been working with the techs for the past 3 days (and this is not the first issue with my computer). Just today it's been an all day and early morning process. My computer has been set back to factory settings. This has not resolved the issue. Following the last time of factory settings I'm on the computer and the screen goes into horizontal flickering lines white background with various color. Then the screen goes black. Then the computer goes back to the start page with a message across the screen YOUR PC RAN INTO A PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM CAUSED YOUR PC TO RESTART ANDSHUT DOWN. Then when I call HP the Tech laughs as if it's so funny. He did set up an appointment for a casemanager to call me in the morning. I got off the phone. Something did not seem right,so I called HP, only to learn the casemanager will not be calling me back in the morning as promised. The casemanagers do not work week-ends - so I guess he found this funny, too.

They hang for a short time and then start playing again.Videos hang for about 5 -6 times in a 3 minute video. I am currently using win 8.1, 64 bit.I have seen it is not due to overheating because laptop is sufficiently cool.

Blank Scren - No Keyboard
Hi Guys, I have a Compaq Presario computer thats been causing me headakes for awhile now..
It use to keep saying something about the FAN wasn't working (even tho it was) I fixed that by removing the silver heat plate at the top part of the mother board, but now (long time later) I turn it on & get nothing, just a Blank Screen & nothing on the keyboard (use to get the 3 lights would atleast flash on & off again, but now not even that)
It's as if theres no power going to the keyboard & it's really hard to try & fix something like this without a keyboard thats working.. (the keyboard is ok tho)
ANY ideas how I can get my computer back from this BLANK SCREEN?

2000-2b20NR Laptop
My daughter has a 2000-2b20NR laptop, with the windows 8 operating system. She's been using the laptop for a year now and everything was fine until a few weeks ago. She was in the middle of doing her homework, when the screen just went black. She could still hear the computer running though. She turned it off and it worked fine the next 3 days until it went black again and has been black since. We've hooked it up to the TV via an HDMI cord and it projected fine on the TV, but the laptop screen is still black. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
