I have an HP Laptop 15-bs0nx with a normal screen (847654-007)HD 1366 x 768. (The Worst screen I had ever seen)
My question is can I upgrade it to (842463-005) FHD 1920 x 1080 or another compatible model.

External monitors no option for resolution above 1920x1080
Hi,
I'm trying to connect 2 external monitors to my HP 850 G3.
Dell U2713HM (native 2560x1440)
connected from laptop displayport to monitor hdmi.. limit resolution available is 1920x1080
Dell U2913WM (native 2560x1080)
connected from laptop VGA to monitor VGA.. limit resolution available is 1920x1080
I've updated the Intel and AMD video drivers.. still no option to up to the desired resolutions.
Any ideas, other that having to buy a docking station?
I should be able without having to go that route.

Unable to log in due to screen going black
When I touch the screen or click the keyboard to bring up the password box the screen goes black for about 15 seconds and comes back up. Then it does the same thing all over again

Screen Color Changed - Blue colors turned to pink
Dear Support Team,
Just bought this Spectre laptop a couple weeks ago. During the first time use I tried to connect it to the monitor and when trying to adjust the settings via Intel Graphics Settings all of a sudden the colors of the both the laptop and the monitor switched, all blue colours turned pinkish. This stayed like that even after mulitple reboots, the Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 had the latest driver installed.
The only way the colour returned to normal was to disable Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620, then the laptop screen turned to normal but the laptop could no longer connect to a secondary screen.
I took this to the local service center and they seem to not have a clue what was wrong, they said they would reinstall the bios, if that does not fix it they would reinstall windows if that did not work they would change the screen. In the end they did all that but guess what as soon as I connected it to a screen, it stuffed up again. This time it happened when trying to adjust the color hue somewhat via intel graphic settings. However this time the monitor colours are staying normal only the laptop colors have changed.
I have checked the drivers and did reboots, but still the same. Only when disableing the Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 then the colors become normal again.
I intend to take it to the service center again but I am concerned they are not able to identify the real problem once more.
Looking at similar problems on this forum I was hoping you could shed some more light on what the problem could be and give specialist imput on how to fix it which can be passed on to HPs service team here in Indonesia.

Screen flickering
Hi,
i come back because the problem of screen flickering still persist.
This problem occurs randomly.
In the BIOS I was for 10 minutes and the problem does not show up.
The problem also presents itself by connecting the notebook to an external monitor.
What can it be?
The drivers are all updated.

Cannot change the HP Webcam Resolution on HP 250 G6 Notebook PC
Im using HP 250 G6 Notebook PC.
BIOS: F.32 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz

When i'm using 3rd party camera app or In-built app, i can maximum use the resolution of 320p or 480p. I cannot set more than this.
I could see from the log app that it has resoltion of 1280*720.

I have tried to use the generic drive as well but nothing worked.
Can someone confirm if HP 250 G6 Notebook PC Webcam can capture VIDEO at 720p.?
Note: I can use same app (Lifeisze Cloud) on chrome, i.e Webapp. As per their req. App need min. 720p Video capturing Camera.

Video driver is very old
HP driver for my laptop's videocard is old. I have not able to work on my laptop corectly. When i tried to install driver for hd7420g or hd8750m. Video driver hasn't insalled.

Keyboard mouse and touchpad stopped working
Yesterday all of a sudden my keyboard and mouse stopped working. I had been using a USB wireless mouse and keyboard (less than 3 months old). I have searched online and seen that others have had this but I have not found a solution. I have done a PC refresh as well. Any suggestions?

laptop keyboard not working
Hi my keyboard is not working (as if it is locked), touch pad, mouse, external USB keyboard (linked via dock) and virtual keyboard on screen all working just fine. Tried rebooting a few times but it's still not working. Can you please advise how to troubleshoot this thanks.

Display not showing
I was just downloading a movie and i didn't know my laptop is low battery. It did shut down but when i turn it back on it's just black screen. Although, i can see a faint logo of hp everytime i turn it on.

My laptop randomly swtiches me into tablet mode even with the settings to not allow the switch. How can I switch back to desktop mode without having to logoff?

Tiny Vertical Line on Laptop Screen
I was working on my HP Pavilion x360 laptop running Windows 10 64bits recently, then the screen blinked. A tiny vertical line appeared after that.
I tried troubleshooting by, updating display drivers and updating the BIOs, yet to no avail.
Please help me solve this, as the line really make me uncomfortable.

Regarding battery life of model HP Notebook - 15-bs148nl

I have bought Hp notebook 15/bs 148nl few days ago. In the website of Hp the battery life was showing 11 hours 45 minitues. But while I am using the laptop the battery was only up to 4 to 5 hours maximum. Could you please tell me how can get solved this problem?
