I recently dropped my laptop on the floor and it hit the floor screen side down. Now when i open it the screen is white and it beeps loudly for a few seconds. What do i do? Is it totalled? Thanks!!

Graphics problem
I have an hp envy m6 laptop with the display driver as AMD A10 Radeon 7660 G. Whenever i play a fullscreen game, the laptop restarts immedietly. I have tried different games but still, same results. Hope you can give me a fix soon.

Keyboard keys problem
I am using HP ENVY 6-1004TU, Windows7, 64bit.
My Notebook keyboard's some keys are not working as written as on the keyboard. Such as if i have to write @ , i have to put SHIFT+2, but now i have to put SHIFT + ' instead. When i say the on screen keyboard, it is not matching with my notebook's keyboard's keys. How can i fix this?

HDMI to VGA connection?
I have an ENVY 17-j101sa notebook PC and I wish to connect it to a VGA projector. (I hadn't realised that it had no VGA connector when I bought it.) Is this a matter of getting a simple HDMI to VGA converter, or is there a reason why that will not work? This will be used to extend the Windows Desktop, in effect, not for the projection of DVDs.

HP Pavillion G7 - CPU works, audio works, screen is black
Hi,
I had dropped my laptop a few months ago and I had a friend replace the screen. It worked perfectly for past 3 months. A week ago it started to flicker and then went black. However, when I held the frame on the top right corner the screen would work again. That worked for about 30 mins and now nothing will help. Could something be loose? I know nothing about computers but I definitely can't afford a technician right now since I'm in graduate school! Any help would be appreciated :)

TX2510US Blank Screen
Hi:
I've been having blank screen issues with my 2008 TX2510US. I've had it for 6 years and really love it and wouild like to fix it if possible. It still works fine on an external monitor and intermittently the screen works great. When it's not working, I can't seem to figure out why. Rebooting and resetting doesn't seem to help and I've already installed the latest BIOS and video drivers. I've also already replaced the screen inverter and it doesn't seem to be the CCFL tube as it works great...when working. Is there a screen shut off switch that is supposed to turn off the screen when the lid shuts? If so, it may be the problem as the computer's display doesn't always shut off when the screen is down. Perhaps it also doesn't allow the screen to turn on as well. If there is such as switch, where is it located so I can see if I can fix it or replace it.
PS, I've already had the motherboard out and reseated the heatsink with good thermal paste. Temps are running around 170 and pretty steady.

Is it possible to use dual external monitors with a Pavilion dv7-6c23cl ?
My hp desktop does this very well (each monitor displaying seperately), now I want to setup my laptop in a similar way.
Is it possible with this device (there is a HDMI port, plus a RGP, plus usb 3.0)
I'm running windows 8.1 on this device.

webcam problems
Hello , I have a HP Mini 110-3700 ac, THE WEBCAM INCLUDED IS NOT WORKING, UNDER DEVICES IT APPEARS AS UNKNOWN DEVICE. Is there a way to recover it, make it work or can I connect an external cam. I have windows 7 starter.

Green Video Screen every time I get on Youtube and Windows Movie Maker
This problem has been occuring for about two weeks. Whenever I go to watch a clip on Youtube, only a green screen is displayed and the sound can still be heard. The actual clip can be seen (without green screen) only if I change the video quality to 144p (the lowest quality available). In Windows Movie Maker, the same thing occurs but I cannot see the video at all because the quality cannot be changed in this program. This is very frustrating because I literally JUST recieved this computer in the mail this month and nothing that works for other people has worked for me.
These are the things I have tried, all without success:
*Checked for updates on my FlashPlayer & found that it is up-to-date (checked 3-4 times)
*Right-clicked on the Youtube screen and unchecked the little button
PLEASE HELP!!! Bought this $600 computer for its graphics, ironically.

Laptop screen got some scratches
Hi everyone!
I have a HP notebook model number 1000-1b02AU. The issue is that I closed the laptop little hard in a hurry. Now the screen has got a scratch mark on it like a shatter. And the display is also flickering. I want to know if it will be covered under the warranty and if not will the whole LCD unit has to be changed and the costing for the same.. :smileyembarrassed:

amd radeon 6490m display driver cann't installed.
i have hp pavilion dv6 6154tx laptop. i am unable to install its original amd display driver which has downloaded from hp official site.

I'm very sad guys... I have tried lots of time to update my driver video but it is simply impossible to do!!!
So, sorry for my english but I will try to explain my problem in a simply way...
First of all.. the HP driver support web page give me as the ultimate driver AMD this one:
2011-11-18 , Versione8.882.2.3000, 338.98M.... it would be possible?? 2011????? I don't think it's correct....
So I check the AMD web page for the real ultimate driver... my hardware video is a RADEON (TM) HD 6490 M. I have also a Intel HD Graphics Family integrated on the Motherboard... but I set to use the first one...
From the web page I download the

but I cant istall it!! I have an INCOMPATIBILITY HARDWARE-SOFTWARE What's the problem guys? I have a dead PC?

graphics on webpage
Hi,
I have a pavillion 2000-2d49wm laptop and I get graphics ok except on the actual page then I get a frame around pictures but no pictures, is this my graphics card? I go to yahoo and can see everything but i've been trying to look at the owners manual for my car and they show photos of what do do in situaitions but no photo, just a black line around where the photo is suppose to be and a square little box in the middle of the frame. Can someone help me with this?
