Laptop screen is blank but when connected to a regular monitor I can see and operate normanlly so I think the video card is okay. The computer is less than 18 months old. shortly after the screen failure I started getting an error message regarding the camera not working. A check through all the HP tools tell me that everything is running normally. I'm thinking that the back lighting for the screen is compromised somehow. Any suggestions?

I have recently purchased a new HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ac0xx in Canada and it looks like the USB-C HDMI connection is not working properly. The image appears on screen for a few and then disappears, then reappears again and so on.
Updated all my windows and HP Support Assistant drivers. Deleted McAfee. Read through countless threads on the same topic and still no answer on how to fix it. The laptop is under 10 month warranty.
The HP USB-C HDMI adapter works great with my new Galaxy S8- no flickering or image disappearing. I can only assume that the the original adapter that comes with the laptop is fine. Tried the same HDMI cable without the adapter on my Dell laptop, and again it works great.. so if it isn't for the HDMI cable neither the adapter nor the drivers, I'm only left with one thing..
I am very disappointed, the product seems faulty as many people seem to be complaining about it but the HP team wont give or find an answer to it. Is it a hardware issue in the entire product line? or do I need to update yet another driver?
Does anyone know if the HP ENVY x360 - 15-aq160sa works with Wacom Active Electrostatic Technology (AES) or Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP)?
I am having trouble installing and updating the Intel graphics driver on several of my laptops. I noticed the problem when I was updating drivers on our laptops. Most of the 640 G1s would get an error when trying to update the driver. I found that if I uninstalled and deleted the driver so that it installed the standard VGA driver I could then update the driver on several laptops. But there were several that would still not load the Intel driver.
I have turned off Antivirus and downloaded both versions of the Intel driver from HP and both come back and say it couldn't be installed.
If I do an update driver from Device Manager it says that "this requires an interactive windows station". So I reimaged it and got the same errors.
I then downloaded the driver directly from Intel and when I try to install it I get the message that "this station doesn't meet the minimum requirments". The Intel site has a program you can load and it will scan your hardware and tell you which Intel devices you have. The program scans and then says no devices found.
Even thought all of my laptops have intel processors I tried downloading the AMD drivers and of course all they do is install their control panels
I have no problem installing and upgrading the Intel NIC driver.
I bought an Envy X360 15-ar052na (Energy Star) and I want to get a pressure sensitive stylus for it. However I am finding mixed reviews about what will and won't work and I can't find this model on the compatability table provided on the HP Support website. I would like one with a fine tip on it, not the thick rubbery ones for accurate use. Any suggestions would be really helpful as I keep running into dead-ends.
How do I get my HP Envy to show the amount of time left on my battery? Right now it only shows the picture and then the percentage. I want the actual time.
Brightness is turned down automatically after a few minutes. It can be turned back up using the keyboard (F3), but soon it goes back down. Even the mouse is locked when it happens, but it is reactivated as soon as the "increase brightnes button" is pressed. When the auto decrease in brightnes is occurring it is almost as if the "brightness decrease button" is pressed. The brightness slider is displayed on screen and the slider is moving all the way down to the minimum position. The image remains on screen until a key is pressed. This differs from a manual decrease of brightness where the image disappears after a few seconds. All the power saving settings that I can find (Windows and Intel) have been examined and brightness regulation has been disabled, but to no avail.
What is the maximum number of monitors supported by my notebooks video card using the HP docking station?
I have an HP Ultra Slim Docking station G2 and would like to setup 2-3 external monitors using the two displayports, and possibly a 3rd monitor on the docks VGA adaptor. If possible I would like to still be able to use my laptops display as a 3rd or 4th monitor depending on how many external monitors are supported.
I have a problem with my laptop, when I start it up it has multiple screens and goes all green and fuzzy.
This happens no matter what I do, including changing my angle.

I got this laptop a few days ago and I want to know, since it did not come with a stylus. Is it even compatible with a stylus? I did hinge my purchase on the fact that I would be able to use a pen with this laptop. But I have not been able to find anywhere wether it is even compatible with syluses, active or otherwise.
Im having problems with the graphic performance on my HP elitebook 8560w after installing Windows 10. When browsing Youtube in chrome it sems slow and when wathing fullscreen, video and sound seperates. When I play CS Source the fps is very low. When i produce plot in MatLab they also update slow compared to before I installed Windows 10.
I have installed the newest driver: AMD Firepro m5950 from AMD's website. I have downloaded GPU-Z to monitor my GPU and I find that the GPU Load level is very low (less that 5%) even if i play CS or watch youtube videos.
It seems like if there is something limiting the GPU.
I changed all the power saving settings to the highest performance (no power savings) and the computer is plugged to the charger as well.
Im pretty sure that its not a hardware fault, but of course if you suspect somthing I will be glad to hear.
Do anybody have an idea of what could cause my problems?

After using my Pavillion x360, for indeterminent amounts of time, my cursor will begin to jump and open windows, and programs. I try to at least gain enough control with a remote mouse or tochpad to shut down or trouble shoot to no avail. Sometimes it hapeens when I have stepped away for the system completely and have looked over to see it "running itself" essentially. At first I thought it seemed like it was some kind of sticky key. I adjusted my sensitivity, have uploaded drivers since it started and now on occasion even if I shut the system down it not only does not resolve the problem, but it looks like the cursor is touching the lock screen greating blury circles. Any suggestions?

So, I bought this notebook 6 days ago but I noticed that the brightness screen is not very high like the previous notebook I had. I searched to solve this problem thinking the source was linked with battery saving options but it's not.
I have a friend who has an HP and the brightness screen of his screen is a little hight that mine. I don't know what's the cause. Is the panel or can be a software problem? I had update the BIOS yesterday because I had a problem "DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE". Can it be the cause?
Moreover when I use notebook without AC connector I noticed that when there is a darker image in the screen, the brightness decreases alone.
According to you I should take it to the assistance?
