my laptop sometimes do glitch on its touch screen here is what happens when i tap on left side of my screen (at a certain place) then my bottom right side of the screen the laptop thinks that i am tapping on its touch screen i odnt know hwy it happens but yeah

Screen going black when scrolling using tracjpad
Hi.
1. My laptop screen keeps going black whenever I scroll with 2 fingers on the trackpad. This however does not happen when I left click and scroll with one finger.
2. The screen also often changes brightness by itself for a few seconds.
I have not done any update apart from the routine updates prompted by Windows. The last oe was about 2/3 weeks ago.

DisplayPort on Hp pavilion power 15-cb040nd
Hello,
I have ordered the hp pavilion power 15-cb040nd.
Currently I'm looking to buy a monitor that i can use with this laptop, however I want to use this screen for first person shooters and therefore need a screen with a 144hz refresh rate and a 21:9 ratio.
to get this amount of hz and ratio, I can't use the HDMI 1.4 which is not sufficiënt.
The laptop has a USB 3.1 type c gen 1 port, and then they show a list what that USB port is capabele of. In this list stands: DP1.2. Which i believe means displayport 1.2, correct?
If so, I would like to use this port for my screen and probably need to buy a cable with USB type c to displayport 1.2 for my monitor.
am I correct in thinking that this will give me a screen that utilise the 144hz and the 21:9 ratio?
can i just buy the cheapest cable to connect my screen to the laptop, or do i have to look for certain specifications?

Screen flicker in hp due to screen hinge problems
MY laptop ( hp omen ax200ne) is barely 3 months old now and it has started to show screen flicker, which is a common issue for hp devices with the door hinge design. do u hav any tips on how to prevent further damages or should i got to service center . if someone has had this issue in past or is going through its now pls reply. i would be so greatful;

active pen HP Spectre x360 - 13
Hello, I bought this laptop which came without an active pen,
and I am trying to find an authorized seller in ISRAEL (or a seller that has delivery arrangement to Israel) in order to buy an active pen for my spesipic Spectre model.
All I could find in stores (or on line) was the pen for the NEW version of the x360 Spectre and I am not sure that my computer will communicate with the new pen.

External Monitor Keeps Going Black (flickering on & off) despite power settings
I have a brand new 2017 Spectre 15" laptop hooked up to an external monitor with an HDMI cable. As soon as I stop being active on the computer, my monitor blinks black and then the screen reappears. It goes black for about 2 seconds, and at seemingly random times, it flicker back and fort. Does it all the time after a few minutes.
I have power settings as follow: Sreen going to sleep NERVER and computer going to sleep after 3 HOURS when plugged in. (it is plugged in).
I have seen and old similar topic but maybe not identical dated 2015 and not active.
Anybody experiencing this ?

HPx2 10t laptop will not get past the "Save Files to OneDrive?" screen after I answered the question
Turned it on and walking through setup. Everything is going great until it asks me to "Save Files to OneDrive?" I first answered NO and hit Next -- no response; screen just stars at me.
I power off go through set up again and answer YES; same result.
Any ideas; this is a birthday gift and sad I can't even get in. The NEXT button looks to be pushed down but nothing at all happens and it's been over 30 minutes.

screen is all grainy/snowy
When I turned on the computer today, the screen was all grainy/snowy. Tried shutting down and restarting, but it didn't solve the problem. Maybe the resolution is off? Problem is I can't see/read anything on the screen, so I don't know how to check resolution either.

Drivers problem
Hi.
I recently bought a Pavilion 11-n010la. I did a clean installation of Windows 10 and everything went well. The problem is that when I tried to install the drivers none could be completed. Especially the video driver, if I download the official version of HP tells me that the system does not meet the minimum requirements. So I looked for the intel version and it worked, at least for some reboots. After restarting the computer twice the driver stops working, the brightness of the screen is reversed, the screen goes from 60Hz to 40Hz and the performance is poor, it gets too hot. I do not know what to do.
Also the only driver I could install is HP Drive Guard, and now tells me that the accelerometer is not compatible with Windows 10.
Can anybody help me?

Hello! I just bought a HP PAVILION 15-AU172TX the problem is whenever i play a video the video lags even if it is not HD i have tried MPC media player and Windows media player the same problem occured in both the video freezes for a second or two evey two minutes later please help the laptop has 8gb ram

Black Screen
Hey guys, I've got a nice HP laptop that the display just stays black on. I can hook it up to an external monitor via HDMI and it will work just fine. I checked on the HP website and it looks like they only sell the entire assembly for like 400+ dollars.
I was wondering if you guys think that I could replace the standard touchscreen with a regular non-touch screen for a cheaper price and if so if you might know what model numbers that I'd be looking at?

Screen keeps flickering (black screen + lines )
My hp laptop is new and the problem occured since the first week after i bought it. At first there were only lines appearing vertically but the other day the screen started to flicker and blinking between black and green colour screen. I need help on how to fix it since im far away from hp center.

So , I bought this HP ENVY x360 Convertible a year ago , and there is a quesiton bothers me a little bit , which is the size od the graphics memories , as you can see , the info from AMD radeon settings and HP support assistant tells a completely different story, can anybody tell me which one is correct ?
