HP Envy13 Intel HD Graphics Driver Failure
Hi, as of this morning, i have lost the ability to change my screen brightness.
I have found through the HP support tool that i need to upgrade my Intel graphics driver, but every time i try to install, a message comes up telling me the update has failed. I have tried to install direct from intel with the same error.
My settings now only show the microsoft basic display adapter.
Can anyone suggest a solution please?

HP spectre x360 15-bl000 artifacts, glitches
Hello! I have a problem with my hp spectre x360 15. Some times I have artifacts like on the video. Is it program glitch or hardware? But sometimes it works perfect. This artifacts become when I turn on laptop, but then it work without glitch. I have updated all drivers and bios.

How do i make my screen brighter? My screen stay dim at all times.
I canoot make my screen brighter. At the moment my screen looks like it is dimmed completely. When i press and hold FN while hitting F6, to make it brighter, it will not work. I work with two monitors, my Hp ProBook being my secondary screeen, and when I campare the brightness you can clearly see that my ProBook is really dim and hard to read. Any suggestions of what it might be?

New IT issued Laptop, it has a NVIDIA M3000M card . Is there a way to run the laptop display and 2 extended monitors, just for office work, I dont care about gaming.......

Notebook screen showing no display but external HMDI works
On start up the notebook screen failed to come on. It shut down normally and as far as I'm aware it wasn't doing an update. Although the screen did appear to go off quicker than normal during the last shut down. I'm using it now through a HDMI port to a TV. The machine is about 6 months old and only has light use.
Any checks and advise would be helpful before I go down the warranty route

Touchpad
I have a HP Probook 454Os and it is great except for one of the most aggravating problems.
Since brand new, I use only a Mouse to navigate - hate the touchpad - and have tried everything to disable this dam thing because if I just get near it, the cursor jumps and I am typing who knows where? Have tried all solutions for several years now to no avail. I am about to buy new Laptop to solve but will give HP one more shot before I go BYE-BYE.
I simply want to totally disable the touchpad.

cannot use HP 2311x as duplicate monitor in Windows 10
I have issues with extending the monitor also from my Toshiba Satellite laptop running windows 10. The screen extends but the mouse doesn't move easily from one screen to the other hence I can't easily move open applications from one screen to the other. I have to try it several times before it works which is very annoying. Sounds like it's an issue with Windows 10 since there are no drivers for it on HPs website. Any fixes, please let me know also.

Mouse pad issues
Hi guys. For some reason, my mouse is playing up.
I'm having to post this via my phone as I'm having issues doing the most simple things on the laptop.
I know I'm using windows but am having trouble trying to access and find out via laptop which operating system info on it.
The right mouse button works in the way that if I click it, it highlights whatever it's hovering over, but the left mouse button is non responsive, and also the double tap option of the mouse pad doesn't work. Could anyone kindly give me information which could solve this issue please? Thank you

Radeon graphics card disappears on switchable graphics notebook only Intel shows up
I have been having this problem off and on where the Radeon HD 6550 graphics adapter will not even show in device manager much less be selectable.
Control Panel -> Display -> Change Display Settings -> Advanced Settings - shows only the intel card active.
I have read DOZENS of problems with this happening, for several years now, but I have never seen HP provide both a reason why, and a solution to fix it.
This problem is more than 5 years old without an HP solution. The solution seems to wait long enough for all the affected machines to go out of warranty, and extended warranty, and extended super long time warranty, and eventually the problem goes away because all the machines have gone into the trash bin.
Why does the RADEON graphics card go away?
Can I disable the Intel card somehow so the Radeon is the only none switchable card used?
This has been a good HP notebook for 8 years and I am looking at buying a new gaming desktop.
If HP can tell me how to get my Radeon graphics adapter back on this notebook, then I will buy an Omen Desktop, but if not, then I will look at the other machines and see which one has the longest warranty, easiest upgrade process, most open architecture,
and maybe something that I consider the most important item of all, if I buy a machine with a GeForce 1080 or some such card in it.... I WANT TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL THE LATEST DRIVER FROM THE CARD MANUFACTURER AND HAVE IT RUN ON MY MACHINE....
forcing me to use 6 year old drivers that are not even from the card maker, and NOT being able to use the drivers from the card maker, is really stupid. I made that mistake once. I won't do it again.
Any idea how to get my Radeon card back in the device manager display (and usable on the machine)?
