HP 2000-329WM Notebook PC - Information Retreval

HP 2000-329WM Notebook PC


My laptops screen was white one day on start up and it has been ever since. I have information on the laptop that I need. I figured I may have a couple of options.. One being, hook the laptop up to my TV and use that as a monitor or maybe another type of monitor in replace of the white-screened one. Second, somehow take the information from my laptop and just put it onto another computer by some means. Lastly, buy something to fix the white-screened problem.

I am not very educated on these kind of things and when I brought the laptop to geek squad to have them check it out they told me that the graphics card might of went on me.. Either way any and all help, tips, advice, etc is very much appreciated.
