Hi there,

I have an Envy m6 that I purchased last year and so now the warranty is expired. It came with Windows 8 which worked fine. I've had to update some drivers everynow and then but overall I'm happy with the product.

However, a few days ago I decided to upgrade to Windows 8.1. I'm beginning to regret this as now I'm having issues with my computer that I fear will not be easily fixed.

I play games on my laptop and consequently liked be able to tweak my settings in Catalyst, but after installing Windows 8.1 the Catalyst seemed to have defaulted back to factory settings. Now the computer lags badly when trying to render frames in the game and I notice it heats up a lot more now. I don't think it's making use of the dual gpu and I don't know how to fix that.

I cannot seem to locate any drivers for my model. Is this something HP is aware of and are working on?
