I just got the Elitebook Revolve specifically because I wanted a laptop I could draw on. It's working great, just one little problem that I can't solve and that's to make the touchscreen detect and follow the pen even when the pen isn't touching the screen. I've calibrated the screen almost perfectly, but since I'm drawing and I need to see exactly where I'm placing the pen, it would really help if the screen would show the crosshair without me having to touch the screen and see where my mark is actually going to end up.
If the Elitebook can't sense the pen above the screen, then I'll just have to practice calibrating the screen to a fine point and trust that where I put the pen is actually going to be where the mark will be made. But if I could get the crosshair to follow the pen when I'm just hovering it above the screen it would make drawing a lot easier.
I have Windows 8 btw
