HP 2000 Screen Issues

I want to state that the phone call that I made to the HP "help desk" tonight was the longest waste of time and energy I have had to ever experience in contacting HP.  I got a very rude rep (Preethi) who was out sourced who insisted that she must have the PC in order to diagnose it.  I thought she meant that I must send it to her.  Not a problem.  I can do that.  But no...she meant that I must be in front of it.  I had my daughter on the call as well, who did have the lap top in front of her.  But the rep still refused to help.  I had to ask more then a dozen times - no exaggeration - to speak to a supervisor.   When she finally does transfer me to a supervisor I get a man named AV....he states that he will call my daughter - without me on the phone - and speak to her.  It never happened.  So not only does HP cause a run around in order to avoid fixing a in warranty issue, they also lie.  I asked for a reference number or a ticket number or some sort of employee ID number and was told that it was against policy to provide one.

The issue with the lap top is that when the case is opened the screen will stay black.  If the bottom right of the screen is tapped on the cover of the lap top the screen will come on.  If the screen is moved in any manner...it goes black again.  This item is less then a year old.  I purchased it at AAFES and I bought an additional 2 year warranty.  All I want is it to be fixed.  Either by HP or AAFES.  If someone can help please respond.
