Dear HP,
I work for a digital agency. We provide web development and online marketing services. When I want to connect my HP Pavilion g6 laptop to a second monitor this doesn't work. I've tried it with a Samsung monitor as well as a Dell monitor, but both times it didn't solve the problem(s). The laptop contains the following hardware/drivers:
AMD Radeon HD 6470M / 6630M driver 8.862.4.0
Mobile Intel HD Graphics driver 8.862.4.0
Intel Display Audio driver 6.14.0.3074
Catalyst Control Center version 2011.0701.2226.38454
With the Samsung monitor, the laptop crashes after connecting to this second monitor. With the Dell monitor, the screen of this second monitor stays black. This is only in the "extend monitor mode" (so not in the duplicate mode).
I would like to ask the following questions:
1. Did this problem occur more often?
2. What can I do to solve this problem?
