OK, my problem is the frame rate of games. I think a person that games would be able to help me with this one, so just a heads up.
So this is an HP laptop with windows 8.1, so that means I have some games that I can play from the Xbox live store. One game I play that looks absolutley beautiful is called Asphalt 8: Airborne. This game runs at the maximum frame rate, with no skips or anything. The games graphics looks like that of the Xbox 360's!
Yet when I go to try and play a desktop game...say like...Dragonnest....which the graphical power doesn't even compare to the looks of Asphalt 8, my Laptop can barely run the game. I think it should be able to do it no problem because my laptop can handle Asphalt....
So, does anyone knows why this happens? I get low frame rates for desktop games on high settings, but I can run games like Asphalt 8 just fine. Sorry if I am not elaborate enough, but this problem is a really weird one.
If you want to know my specs, then here they are.
Processor:Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 2030M @ 2.50GHz (2.50GHz is the speed)
Ram: 4GB
Video Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics
I've also heard of something called "dedicated video RAM"...something my graphics card doesn't have a lot of at exactly 32MB.
Also for the record as well, this graphics card probably doesn't need an update, as I've searched everywhere for one.
Help please?
