I have a brand new HP Pavilion TS 11 Notebook which came with Windows 8 installed. Yesterday, I installed Windows 8.1 and since then various websites seem to suffer from screen flicker - especially noticeable on those with a white background. Microsoft seem not to be able to offer an explanation except that it has something to do with "refresh rate" although it doesn't offer any explanation as to how to fix this....have you any idea what might be causing it and if there is a cure?
Thank you - I love my new notebook but don't love what Windows 8.1 has done to it!
