G71 449wm bios in external monitor

So I have a flash drive and everything set up to reinstall windows 7 because I want to start new on my laptop, however, I don't have a screen built in anymore, it broke and was taken out a while ago, so I made due using a monitor from a desktop. But now I need to view the bios, and I can't because the display won't work until after windows boots.
