I have a Win 7 dm4 with Intel graphics and a newer Samsung 1080p tv. I have tried unsuccessfully to get hdmi output to the tv. I get a No Signal error message on the tv. I have tried all the online recommended steps of plugging in and powering up in various orders, have downloaded the latest drivers, Have tried various screen resolutions. Have tested the hdmi cable to ensure it works. Have tested both HDMI ports on the tv. (Also cannot get the output on another smaller HDMI capable tv.)
My pc recognizes the tv. It shows in the Intel Video options by model name. It appears in my devices as a Generic PnP device. When I use Win+P to move between Projector, Computer, Extend, or Duplicate, none of those choices gets me an image on my tv. If I use Projector only, I get a black computer screen and have to use Alt+Ctrl+F3 to get my monitor display back.
When I power the connected tv on, my acknowledges the connecting device (blip of screen and connecting device audio alert), but still no display.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
