My laptop became unusable, starting the laptop only resulted in a black screen at log-in screen. If the laptop went past the login screen, then the result was a fully pixelated screen followed by a blue screen

 VIDEO_TDR_ERROR or VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR.Igdkmd64.sys errors.

Connecting an external tv via HDMI cable still gave the same results.
Tried f2 diagnosis. nothing found 

Tried System recovery = factory reset. goes to two options flickers to black screen, sticks on blank black screen. 

Checked forum lots of problems no specific solution for my version.

While I was on the Internet, a window poped up telling me to call a specific number or I may loose all my files. I quickly turned off the laptop, waited 10 second and turned it back on. It came up in Safe mode. I tried to set up the display to what it was before. The problem is that the left 1/4 came up properly with all my correct icons; the rest of the window remaine solid white. How can I get the whole screen corrected? Everything else seems to work properly.

Hi,

 

This laptop only has one HDMI and one USB-C. However, I need to connect to two external screens (different displays) for my work. The HDMI works perfectly. May I ask how should I connect to the second screen? Can it be done through the USB-C or any other port on the laptop?

 

I like this laptop a lot. However, I might need to return it if it could not connect to two external screens (different displays) for work purpose. Hope someone could help me and hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Hello, we have 8 HP Laptops Model #15-BA009DX (I believe the AMD A6 Series).  We use them in a trade show booth (connected to ACER touch screen monitors model #T272HL.  These laptops play 4 different videos on a loop throughout each day of the trade show without internet connection.  All videos are MP4 files. One of the videos does not play smoothly - it is scratchy and choppy and stops playing at times.  This size of this video is 1.51GB.  The other videos are similar in size but this is the only one that does not play correctly.  Can someone please let me know the best way to resolve this issue?  Thank you!

Hello,

 

I am having issues with my computer where it is uncontrollably scrolling down. No matter what I am looking at, Chrome, Microsoft Internet, looking for documents, even when scolling through apps in the start menu. None of the keys are stuck and it does it with my wireless mouse, trackpad, and touch screen. I have restarted my computer multiple times and even updated a few days ago to the new system. This started happening randomly before the new update.

I connected Kensington SD4500 USB-C universal Dock to my HP spectre to connect 2 monitors. I verified that the monitors were working since when I connect my Mac it works. However when I connect the Kensington USB-C universal dock, it is not working. it says monitor no connection.  what should I do? 

can I upgarde the graphics and/or card on my HP Pavilion 15z for gaming?

My kids want to use this laptop for gaming and it only had 1g graphics processing....can it be upgraded or a dedicated card put in??

Since the last few month there has been a continous screen flickering issue on my notebook once i try to log in,
Soo the first time i log in there are no issue but then if my lapotop goes to sleep (because i tilt the screen down all the way) and after that when i try to re log in by entering the password ,the flickering starts and doesn't accept the password even if it's right..

HI Team,

 

I have just brought 15 AY503TX. I've purchased a DOS model so I manually installed Win7 64 bit. After installing drivers I didn't get to change :

 

> Brightness

> AMD Graphics

 

I tried using your Hp Assistance, It only showed that my LAN drivers are missing. I ddin't expected that. I've tried to download auto detect installers stills no progress.

 

 

Please help. Unable to use NOtebooks full potentails.

Hi, I have a really bad and annoying problem in Hp laptop
Version: HP Notebook - 15-ac118ne
it's new I bought it like 3 months ago
the screen flickering too much, like these

and if I left it flickering more than 5 min the windows goes crazy like the text in some windows start disappear first in explorer then the task manager then windows stop showing text, one by one not all at once.

 

 

I took this screenshot from teamviewer, in teamviewer there is no flickering just windows problem show up

when I restart the laptop everything back to normal

But this problem does not showing always, like once in every 2 days some times more than 2 days, with or without Heavily uses.
I have checked in BIOS for a day no problem.

The bottom half inch of screen is displaying a rapid rolling image of the current page.  Would it help to wipe the computer?

My Pavilion g6 1a 50CA does not keep time - does not maintain correct time even after being reset.  The laptop is 5 years old and works fine otherwise.  Is it the small battery needing replacement? What is the battery type and cost and can I do it myself?

How I can enable the physical keyboard while my laptop is in the tablet mode? I connect to a monitor at work and want to save space, so I fold my laptop in half, activiating Tablet mode, but I want to use the physical keyboard and not the screen.
