My laptop has a webcam built into the laptop but it is nowhere to be found so I can't skype or anything. I tried downloading the Cyberlink YouCam and it downloaded just fine but when I go to Device Manager and look for it (even in hidden) it isn't there.

LCD display left 1/3 darker than the right 2/3
The left 1/3 of the LCD display is darker than the rest on the right. I can still see everything, but it's impossible to do graphic work with colors. The darker part also shows in bios. Does it mean that the LCD is damaged?

Dv7-6b78us Video issues
I am not a novice user. I have years of diagnostic and repair experience. I've had this laptop for years and have had zero issues I could not resolve on my own, until recently.
With Windows 7, I've previously been able to update without issue, but now, every time I, or windows, install video drivers, specificly for AMD, Windows fails to load after reboot. It will continuosly freeze at the Windows logo screen. When booting into safe mode it freezes at /CLASSPNP.SYS. System restore runs endlessly. Any attempt to remove or disable the AMD drivers or hardware has failed to restableize the system once drivers have been installed. The only way I am able to use the computer is to format and reinstall Windows. It will remain stable as long as the AMD video hardware is left disabled in Devise Manager.
I did try installing Windows 10, and for awhile, it functioned fine. I was able to install video drivers for both the Intel video and AMD video. After running Windows update a few times, It began loading to a black screen, becoming unusable again. I restored to a previous state, Windows loaded and the AMD hardware was disabled in Devise Manager. (this is actually how I found the AMD hardware/drivers to be the issue) I then reinstalled the drivers that worked. Windows 10 makes it very difficult to prevent updates, specificly to video drivers. It will detect, update, and reactivate them without notice, resulting in a black screen. I had to completely disable windows update to keep it from changing the drivers to what it thought would work. For about 4 months, everything worked fine, until Widows 10 itself became less stable, with severe lag, random crashes and system lockup.
I've had enough of Windows 10 and am attempting to set it back to Windows 7. I've tried too many things to list here, but no matter what I've tried I can't seem to get this computer fully functional again. If it were a desktop, I'd just replace the Video card causing the problem, but being a laptop I can't quite do that. I'd say there is something wrong with the hardware if it weren't for it working fine in Windows 10(with specific drivers). It can't be a simple driver problem since older drivers should work fine with an older windows install, but it does not. So I am at a loss as to how to procede.

Envy x360 Dual Monitor Support
I have an Envy x360 with a single HDMI port. It has USB3.1 and USB-C. I do not know if the USB-C is also Thunderbolt on this laptop like the Spectre x360. I can hook up one monitor to the HDMI.
What are the recommendations for the USB 3.1 or USB-C to Display Port, Mini-DP, or HDMI?

I have been getting the followoing messages.

could not be found. Please reisntall IntelManagement and security status.
I have update the intel Chipset installation uility and the intel mamangement Engine component drivers. But the error keeps poping up.

HP Stylus Pen not working on HP EliteBook 360 G2
Hello guys,
I just got my HP EliteBook 360 G2 with docking and stylus pen.
There have been several problems, one of them which is that the Stylus pen isnt working properly.
I'm able to connect it through blutetotth, and when i click the top button, the program for drawing starts, but I am not able to write anything. It seems like only the top button is working and nothing else.
I have tried the HP support assitant to update all the drivers but its still not working
My operating system is Windows 10 Pro and this is the pen:

HP Envy rejects Graphics Drivers from HP website
Laptop is having several graphics display issues- screen freezes and then turns black intermittently before coming back on and a line of black pixels that is continuously getting longer.
I tried updating graphics driver through intel's utility, but after attempt to install, got an error message saying it can't be installed because it's not from the manufacturer. I go to HP's support site, type in my serial number and product number, get the graphics driver from there and it's still giving me the error about the driver not being from the manufacturer even though it clearly is.

Can't change brightness & PC shows multiple displays when none are connected
I have Windows 7 Home Premium x64, and since the install, I've been unable to change my brightness, so I installed the graphics driver, and now it says I have multiple displays connected, but I only have the built in screen on.

Pink screen
So, every once in a while, my computer's screen will start turning pink. Light bars will appear and all the color will slowly fade to a pink or white color. I've spoken to several knowledgeable friends and their consensus is that it's probably an issue with my graphics card.
The last person I spoke with was fairly confident about that until I told them that sometimes moving the laptop itself (lifting it up by the base) can trigger the issue happening, and that often times I can just move the screen itself in different directions and for whatever reason, once I find the exact right angle, that "fixes" the issue temporarily. I don't know what that's all about or if it's even my graphics card that's the issue to begin with.
I have an HP laptop with touchscreen refurbished that I bought only a few months ago from Walmart; the warranty just expired before I saw this problem, annoyingly enough. (It's been going on for a few weeks).
I have no idea what to do. It's my understanding that graphics cards on laptops can't really be replaced because they're attached to the motherboard, and I'm going to assume mine is the same.
If anyone has a solution that won't result in me having to blow hundreds of dollars on a new laptop soon or if they have an alternate theory as to what the issue is, I'd appreciate it.

Hi, recently I bought a laptop (HP ENVY, Model Number: WOQ62AV), 15.6" dimnesion, Touch. I have been looking for hard shell case to protect this from scratch and dirts. I even checked at Amazon/Ebay but did not found anything for this model. I got something there those are designed to perfectly fit the 15.6-inch HP 15-ayXXX series models with Dimensions of 14.88 x 10.41 x 0.94 to 0.98 in (front to rear) (non-touch); 14.88 x 10.42 x 1 to 1.04 in (front to rear) (touch) 37.8 x 26.43 x 2.38 to 2.48 cm (front to rear) (non-touch); 37.8 x 26.46 x 2.55 to 2.65 cm (front to rear) (touch) but not for others.

HP Spectre x360 15-bl001nx Stylus
I recently bought hp spectre x360 15-bl001nx. This product comes with a stylus in all other parts of the word except in middle east. What I want to know is if this laptop is compatible with any type of stylus and if the answer is yes, which model? I need the part number so I can order it separately. In addition, I would also like to know what other accessories come with the laptop. In my case it was only the laptop, power adaptor and a leather pouch. Black Screen
Hello everyone,
I'm facing a black screen after the starting windows screen appears whenever I enable the Intel(R) HD Graphics. I took the laptop to a technician and he did nothing about it. After I got the loptop back I noticed that he installed Intel(R) 946GZ Express Chipset Family and Intel(R) 4 Series Internal Chipset , I have no idea why he did that and what's the point since I still got the black screen again whenever I enabled the Intel(R) HD Graphics. I tried almost all the solutions I found online but nothing worked. I can only operate the Safe mode without getting the black screen if the Intel(R) HD Graphics was enabled. I would really appreciate it if you helped me out guys. I can't watch any HD videos.

my display is in a "night time" mode......how do i get it to a daytime mode or back to restore
my display is in this funky looking night time mode where the screen is black in the background when it should be light in the background.....you can see everything fine in terms of icons and all other content. how do i restore it to the factory settings so the display will go back to normal as though i just turned it on for the first time or how to change it back to a normal day time appearance?

After i re-installed windows 10 , my dedicated nvidia video card is no exist anymore !
In device manage is shown just intel hd graphics !

Notebook screen too dim to see
Brand new touchscreen laptop, trying to set up but screen is so dim it's impossible to even see. Only the faintest HP logo visible on startup. Brightness function keys have no impact. Notebook is connected to AC power and battery charged for hours. Reset multiple times, removed battery, no change.
