The glass on my display has cracked, but the LCD panel/display itself is fine. I would like to simply purchase replacement glass, but when I called customer service I was told that this is not possible. I am annoyed because the most expensive component of the display is fine and I don't think that I should have to spend $600+ to fix cracked touchscreen glass.
Can anyone help me get the glass and only the glass?

This has been so annoying as of late. We updated so many drivers, firmware and some HP Zbook 15 G3 mobile work stations do not connect to the display port dock station Thunder bolt 150w. Is there a quick technique? I seen so many forums saying to install this, restart, install that...restart but some of these HPs are a pain. Any tips, I'd appreciate it. Im glad my company has finally switched back to lenovo.
My new monitor is connected to my new Mac Book Pro (2016) via USB C to USB C. It does not register as an additional display to my computer. HELP!!!
I got new HP HP ENVY x360 Convertible laptop week back. Getting various BSOD messages. Few of them : PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, IRQL_NOT_OR_EQUAL, KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.
As HP doesn't provide support after 6 PM, I contacted Microsoft Windows 10 support and they did try to help me with device driver update etc. but no luck. Still getting BSOD messages and everytime it's different.
MS asked me to contact HP and sort it out as it's still under warranty.
I have done all required windows updates suggested by HP Support Tool.

I have the same problems. Today I updated the Bios of my HP probook 650 G1 to version 1.39 from 1.36
After that my DisplayPort is not working anymore. The external VGA port is working fine.
There is no way to downgrade again. Error message at the end of that downgrading process tells me the digital signature is not valid or the image is damaged. So please HP, fix this problem in 1.39 for all users.

I have recently bought a used hp-15-f111dx laptop. Used it for a while and the screen went black on me one day, while the laptop was still running. Sound was still coming out so I know it didnt freeze or anything. I rebooted it and waited. Still black screen. I heard the bootup and login sounds.. touch screen still worked. So I used my flashlight and could see the desktop. I hooked up an external monitor and sure enough.. it was still working, I could see and use the laptop through the external monitor. I bought a new screen to replace the old one. It didnt help. Still a black screen. Can anyone tell me what my next step would be please?
I have an ENVY HP laptop computer and recently purchased a 24" monitor to use as a primary screen. I would like to know if anyone knows how i cane use my laptop with the 24" screen on and be able to close the lid of the laptop witout it (the monitor) going off.?
Also is there a setting to be able to turn on the computer without having to open the lid?

I've been racking my brain and losing years off my life trying to figure this out!
I bought a BenQ 24" monitor (BL2420PT) that can support 2560x1440 resolution for my Pavilion 17 laptop. Unfortunately, I can't get the monitor above 1980 x 1080. Apparently, the GPU (Radon HD 8610G) should support higher resolution, but I can't figure it out.
I am using an HDMI cable (the only monitor input available), which could be the issue? Maybe it doesn't support higher resolution (e.g.: HDMI 1.3)?
I've unplugged the monitor cable, reinstalled drivers, etc. There is no option above 1980 x 1080. If this is the case, I'll buy a new computer because I need the resolution for work. But a simple yes or no would save lots of time a frustration!

Bought a Pavilion, and for what I need it to do, it is working just fine. However, when I attach an external monitor to it - the response on that monitor only is dreadfully slow. Windows on the laptop screen are just fine. What can I do to improve the response on the external monitor? Once that is fixed, I hope to have a 2nd external monitor in place too. Ideas?

Hello, My eleitebook 2740p stops reconising the pen when i rotate the screen or lay it down onto tablet mode. even when back in the laptop mode and the screen back to normal it doesnt pick it back up i have to restart. i have calibrated it etc and works perfect when used on the screen before rotation. Thanks in advance! - Also on windows 10 32 bit

I just bought the HP Spectre X360 15-bl001na and I want to connect it to my two externals LG monitors. Both are 1920x1080 and I want also the laptop screen to be active when I connect the monitors. I hope this is possible. The monitors have HDMI ports.
I have an HDMI splitter that I connect to the laptop HDMI port but only one monitor works that way. I suppose I need to connect the other monitor trough the USB 3.1 Type C port, using an HDMI converter?
