I bought a new HP 17-y013na notebook about 3 weeks ago and the display quality has been poor ever since. Certain dark colours have a static look to them (it looks like the pixels are flying around), and when streaming videos from services like Netflix all of the colours have this fuzzy appearance. I have tried a factory reset, checking the screen resolution settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the display driver (AMD Radeon R5 Graphics) and checking for new versions of this etc. Basically everything recommended by troubleshooting! Is this just a feature of the notebook or is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

Omen W233NG screen bleed
Hello,
Today i just have recieved my Omen W223NG that I have ordered through official seller in Germany. I paid 1499€ and as soon as I have turned it on I have noticed massive Screen bleed in lower corners. I mean something that expensive and it has such a big flaw I cannot understand. Could you (HP) please help me because I rellay started to like that Laptop, but with that issue is a No-Go.

HP Envy backlit keyboard wont work
So I have had my HP Envy 14 2090ca with beats audio for almost 3 years now. and just recently the backlight for the keyboard stopped working but all other keys work on keyboard as well as all other lights (ex: caps lock, wifi, mute, mousepad when I disable, etc) Is there a certain driver I could use to fix this with?

After installing print driver, my 8620 all in one screen went dark and works only thru my laptop.
My 8620 works fine as long as I control it from my computer. But since I installed a print driver on my new hp laptop, the printer screen is dark and I cannot turn it off.

Backlight bleed
I've just bought a brand new Omen 17 with a 4k screen and replaced it once due to obvious backlight bleed. The replacement laptop still has pretty obvious backlight bleed. Do all HP Omen laptops just have this as part of a poor design and therefore should I just get a refund or have I just been unlucky and received two duff items?

Nvidia 860M recognized, but not being utilized
Hello! I noticed a problem with my Nvidia GeForce 860M graphics card. Recently, I have been getting terrible FPS at graphics setting 1 in World of Warcraft. Through Blizzard Support, we have determined that the GPU is remaining idle even under load. It is staying at 135MHz. Through further inspection of the GX logs, the support tech and I determined that WoW is not utilizing the Nvidia card, but is using the Intel Dedicated graphics card, despite all settings pointing to the Nvidia card, and Nvidia GPU Activity monitor stating that the Nvidia card is being used.
We also tested with the Heaven 4.0 benchmark, and I was getting 2FPS, but that program saw a slight boost in the Current clock to 400MHz. Still, not typical perfomance for the card.
Nvidia support directed me to the manufacturer claiming it is a chipset issue.
However, this issue started recently. Previously, the game was easily playable on higher graphics settings. I don't know the stats- things were great so I didn't have to check.
Before the FPS issue happened, I was getting the "Driver Power State Failure" blue screen, but that was resolved by adjusting power settings to Maximum Performance in Nvidia and Windows.
Troubleshooting steps performed:
Uninstall/reinstall the game
Uninstall Nvidia drivers via DDU uninstaller, then reinstalled from Nvidia.
Uninstall both Intel and Nvidia drivers via DDU, then reinstall the original drivers from HP
Updated windows
Checked power settings in Windows and Nvidia
There has been no change following each of the steps Blizzard support and I tried.
Can anyone help please?

Display Problems
Hello i have a problem with my two displays for my hp spectre. i have a xbox one connected thorough the cable port and a moniter as the tv for the xbox. I would just open the one guide app to use it as a moniter. i would ussaly have no problem with this monter. But with the other moniter it runs thourgh a mini display port that changes into a hdmi thats connected to a moniter i built. alone these two moniters work fine. But together even without the xbox it would say your computer has run into a problem. i would follow the qr code but to find nothing useful for my problem.

touch pad auto disabled in portrait mode
i own a HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq105dx
i like to use my laptop on the side, when i do this the computer turns the screen to portrait mode and stops the touchpad from working. i preffer to use it like a noraml laptop so I disabled the auto rotate but whenever i lean the laptop it still disables the touchpad (touchpad says it's still enabled via settings>mouse and touch pad settings>advanced mouse options but mouse pad does not work while tilted) is there anyway to stop the computer from disabling the touchpad when tilted?

Screen Flicker (Flashing)
So I have a hp 15, , I am having a flashing problem I did what the support attendant on the phone told me which was to shut down computer and turn on but hit f2 and do a component check which I did then I Went into the computer to make sure all my drives were up to date and they were but the flickering is more of a black flickering over my normal screen. Thing is my computer came with windows ten automatically. I already did a hard restart as well and it didn't help. The flickering stops only when I have the laptop in a certain position. It never did this until about two months ago during that Windows 10 update. Not sure what to do anymore if someone could help it would be appreciated I love my HP 15 and its only 2 years old.

Blank/Black Screen but windows sounds are coming
Dear HP, My Laptop is HP 245 G5 Notebook PC. It is only three days old. At first time it operated completely fine.on next day somewhat reason it's monitor screen driver is lost it's not detecting the monitor every time i turn on my laptop its completely blank even it's not showing bios screen I use narrator to operate the laptop. but now I'm using my tv screen to run it i used every way to turn on the screen it is still blank. Please Help. It's been only two days since I'm using this laptop.

Probook 450 G3 update resolution to 1920x1080
I just purchased a new Probook 450 g3 laptop and was wondering if I could find1920x1080 resolution on the onboard monitor some how?
I bought this book after viewing spects and resolutions etc from my friend Laptop, who have the same laptop Probook 450 g3 i7, with the resolution 1920x1080. but in my laptop I have spent more than month by updating drivers and trying blah blah..
I've already tried going into HP's driver support and updating the drivers but the only resolutions I can choose from are:
- 1366x768
- 1024x768
- 800x600
but I need 1920x1080..

envy 27s monitor and spectre x360 via usb C?
I have an HP Spectre x360 13" laptop (X7V20UA#ABA) which has 2 USB C ports and no video ports, running Windows 10. I also have an HP Envy 27S video monitor with USB C input (W5A12AA#ABA).
When I plug the laptop into the monitor (using the USB-C cable included with the monitor) the laptop charges, but it never detects the monitor as an additional display.
if I open the Display Settings and click "detect" it says "didn't detect another display".
I installed the driver from the HP Support website but that did not make a difference. The "HP My Display" app that got installed with the drivers shows that I have a second display "HP ENVY 27 (6CM7xxxxxx)" indicating that it can communicate enough to get the serial number of my display.
How do I proceed?
Will these products even work together?

HP Active Stylus not working with HP x360 Pavilion
I have a Pavilion X360 laptop and recently purchased the HP Active Stylus, and I put in a fresh battery and read the manual of how to connect it to my laptop, but it isn't working. The manual did not give good/clear instructions at all, so hopefully you can help!

Keyboard not working, does not work even with a USB keyboard
I am trying to help a neighbor sort out a nasty problem. His computer was working just fine and recently the keyboard stopped working. The mouse still works properly. Hooking up a USB keyboard did nothing to fix the problem and also did not work. I tried reinstalling Windows on the notebook, when booting Windows 8 allowed me to type in the username password etc. but when continuing to boot to the desktop Windows the keyboard is no longer available i.e. does not work at all. i.e., right click and try to rename an Icon or click on Internet Explorer and try to type in a URL the keyboard does not work.
I found numerous sites (the HP forum and other sites) on the Internet encountering a similar problem and none of the so-called solutions I found worked to resolve the problem. I have tried deleting the keyboard driver through device manager, re-booting etc. I tried suggested registry changes, nothing seems to work.
There must be a rational solution to this problem but it is beyond me. I might add that when Windows boots up I am able to type in the user's password so the keyboard does appear to be working until Windows actually goes to the desktop and then nothing works on the keyboard. Also when doing a cold boot pressing the ESC, F9 etc. work to allow me to enter the BIOS so it does not seem like the keyboard hardware is at fault, it has to be something with a Windows 8 setting on boot up to the desktop.

Hp problems
Hello people I have a big problem but not whit one hp computer with 2 of them, The problem it's like that:I had windows OK I install dual boot kali Linux OK, all good installation completed open the new OS in my hp after a wille run programs in terminal the image screen its block online black color the ventilator inside starting and the computer south down!!! This is the problem...... And I try whit different hp because I was ticking it's broke the old one but do the same I don't know what can I do? I need help if same of you guys know about, Thank you!
