My laptop's warranty is expired. I have a display issue in my laptop. If I extend my warranty this time will the display issue will be solved under the extended warranty and can I get free onsite servicing and repairing?

Screen resolution/size changes when using touchpad
Hi there. I disabled my pinch/zoom, but for the life of me, I can't find that bit about the pointer you mentioned. I'm using windows 8.1 on a HP windows notebook. (I don't know what kind- can't find anything that says it on this thing- it just says HP)

HP Chromebook 14 G3; flickering screen and no boot
On boot up, Chromebook screen will stay black but will light up and flicker. AHave tried replaceing the screen and LCD cable to the same result.
It cannot connect to to an external monitor either, from what i've witness so far, I believe this is a motherboard issue, but i'd like to see if anyone else has any ideas before I take that pricy plunge.

How much would it cost to replace/repair my touch screen laptop?
Someone dropped my laptop and the screen had cracks in it and there is a gap between the side of the screen. Now the touch screen won't work. Can it be repaired or the whole screen should be replaced?

Display cracked on my HP 250 G4 laptop when I tried to open it to just turn my laptop on....
Cracks on the screen appears from both joints to almost center of the LCD.

my keyboard does not appear to be backlit
I was reading the specs of my new Spectre x360 laptop and noticed that it said it has a backlit keyboard ...... well mine certainly isnt !!! Any feedback of this, or have I got it wrong ???

I'd like to have the HDMI on my laptop to be both Input/Output
I know most laptop has its HDMI for output, how can I change it to input (because that's what I use it for my biggest display is on battery) Can I write software for it? Since the software drive the hardware/middleware/firmware/platform....

Camera - Video is disabled after minimizing program using it
I have an HP Spectre Pro x360 G2 laptop with an HP Wide Vision FHD Camera incorporated.
When I use software which makes use of the camera (e.g. Camera or Skype), and I minimize this (e.g. with a click on the respective icon on the taskbar or on the minimize minus button on the app), the video disappears.
It reappears after switching to the mentioned apps back.
I tried to minimize the apps also after recent Windows updates, but the problem persists.
Also, I've tried to manually update the drivers for the camera, but the only answer is drivers are already up-to-date.
Is it an expected behavior? How to change this?

Pixels Going out on Screen
Three days ago pixels started going out in the upper left hand corner of the screen. It is slowly getting worse and there is now a line below three or four short lines that goes almost all the way across the screen. Is there anything I can do about it?

Ghost Bubbles HP ENVY M7 109DX touch lap top.
what the Hell is this? GHost bUbbles. causing track pad etc to become erratic!! tried everything to resplve the issue and nothing works. its apparently a software issue as when you restart it goes away. only after a few mintes (sometime on boot) does this happen. my question is why does it happen and how to solve it? ive tried evrythimg all suggestions on forums blogs. and lets not forget. The wonderful support team that crashed it initially when tryin to fix the issue the first time. ive only had this thing a week. and its been a week of frustration indeed. someone have an answer? please ?

What happens to screen when laptop closed if I select "do nothing"
There will be times when I want to use my laptop more like a desktop. I will use an external keyboard and monitor. I like the fact that I can select "do nothing" when the laptop is closed as it keeps it safer from spills. I am curious if the screen turns off or stays on. Hopefully it turns off as my guess is this would save on battery power.

When I open screen from sleep, the curser goes haywire.
Hi there!
I have a fairly new HP ENVY laptop that has a mind of its own. If I don't shut down the computer before closing the screen, sleep mode, when I re-open it and it wakes up, the curser moves on its own and clicks things and opens random things without my prompting. I have to manually shut it down by holding down the power button as the computer is clicking away on its own and responds to my clicks AND the random clicks it is already doing. I have tried different methods, and sometimes it does this from startup, not sleep mode.
Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I already install all my setup and drivers I needed ( and all updated )
but still my dedicated graphics memory 128 !!
and when I checked my system using CPU-Z program I didn't found my GPU in my system like the photo shown

Extremely poor resolution + some characters and icon tinny an unreadable
I bought this brand new computer and it sucks really... The icons and fonts sometimes are tiny (also I do not have Office tools which I think they should be included in a computer that is in the top of its class). Anyway, I really would like to get a solution on this problem of tyni icon and fonts for some programs (e.g.: I cannot use GIMP anymore since its icons are few milimeters wide)
