Screen Brightness doesn't change.
I have buttons on my keyboard that used to alter the brightness on my screen but sometimes they do not work, I had to fix a driver to get the slider on my computer option to be visible again and the buttons to register but regardless of the sliders moving, the screen brightness does not alter. I have tried with the cable out and in the PC. Nothing has worked.
Any help on this is appreciated as the screen being so bright all the time is off putting.

Continuously freezing and recovering video driver.
I'm experiencing frecvently that my graphics card/driver freezes, especially in video games. And also the graphics card get hot very easy, which problems I think I should not experience 3moths after buying my laptop.

keys 9ol. don't work anymore
nothing has changed on this computer. it is only used for my hunting camp trail cam pics. recently i noticed i coudln't type certain keys. i have them narrowed down to 9ol.

update to HP Pen Control not installing
HP Support Assistant lists an update available for "HP Pen Control". The update downloads, however the installation process had been up for about half an hour without completing, before I gave up. I have tried rebooting the machine and trying again, with no luck.

Screen issue
Hi,
I am having a display issue - when I plug in my power cord, my screen shuts down. If I take the power cord out again, the screen comes back. So the laptop is staying on but the screen is going blank when the power source is plugged in.
Has anyone else had this issue or can help me with this?

I have HP Notebook - 15-ay191nia. Form beginning Brightness changing option is disabled. I tried several time by installing several graphics driver to fix brightness & Screen resolution problem but, unfortunately the problem still exists.

video/camera installeren
My camera and video are not installed, so it seems. During skype I cannot turn the video on, nor can I put the camera on outside of skype. I have looked into the configurationsscreen and have found camera and video under hidden programmes, but when asking to adjust the driver according to the best to be found solution, it states that the best one is already installed. How can I solve this?
Mijn camera en video blijken niet te zijn geïnstalleerd. Tijdens skype kan ik de video niet aanzetten (bij instellingen staat er ''geen'' en kan ik de video niet terugvinden). Ook de camera kan ik niet aanzetten buiten programma's als skype om. Ik ben toen naar het apparaatbeheer in het configuratiescherm gegaan en vond beiden onder verborgen apparaten terug. Toen heb ik op eigenschappen en bestuurprogramma's bijwerken geklikt, maar krijg bij beiden de melding dat het beste bestuurprogramma dat kan worden gevonden al geïnstalleerd is. Hoe kan ik dit oplossen?

I didn't faced any problem during amd catalyst installation. but after that no configure switchable graphics is there in desktop context menu. and in device manager no amd hardware detected. - what should I do to fix this.? how can I know whether amd graphics card is used instead of Intel during games. can i permanently set amd as default ?

Screen Flickering in HP Pavilion 15-AU627TX
I bought this laptop on 11-04-2017. I have been experiencing screen flickering issue since the start. This is happening frequently so is creating a problem. Please look into it and suggest possible solution.

840 g3 + Slimdock = Flickering / non-functional monitors
Hello,
Running laptops with Win 7 x64 Enterprise as the OS and we've noticed after a recent purchase of 840 G3's that the monitors will blink and go to sleep without reasoning while docked. The laptops are still running in the background and still accept keystrokes / mouse inputs. We can remote them with RDP and other software, but the screen(s) themselves remain asleep. This has been causing major issues and after some searching on the HP site, we found a couple solutions. These have only assisted in eliminating the issue about 30% of the time. This has occurred using VGA, DP, and conversion in between (USB->VGA / DP)

_8-16GB RAM
_i5-6200U 2.3GHz
I have updated to the most recent BIOS
I have updated to the most recent video driver(s)
I have updated the firmware on the docks to the latest and greatest (has exacerbated the issue a couple times - no display at all)
Any information would be appreciated and I'll be opening a case with HP soon.

Need replacement screen for 17-g133ds
I closed my mouse in my notebook and shattered the screen. It is only 1 year old as of March. I took it to Best Buy and they sent it out for repair. When I got it back they had replaced my matte screen with a gloss screen. The repair price was fairly high so I told them they should have consulted me about the screen change because I don't like the gloss screens. They have offered to take the screen out and send me back the notebook at no charge.
I am in search of a matte screen to purchase and need the screen product number as it is now at Best Buy. I should be able to find a local computer shop to replace the screen or if possible send it directly to HP for repair but would need an estimate before sending it out. I would appreciate any help I can get on this as I have to call Best Buy and let them know what I want to do. I really don't care for the gloss screen as I don't like the glare.

just noticed that my webcam dont work since windows 10
Hello.
i went to use skype today only to notice i cant start the webcam to be able to chat on cam..It was working ok under windows 7 but it seems to of messed up with the update for 10.
Can anyone point me in the direction of getting the files /software to make it work again.It does not show any cam in the devise manager and cant seem to sort it.

Sticky key.
I spilled some soda on my computer by mistake, and my spacebar is super sticky, and will hardly function. This is the only key that has this problem as of now, and it has been a day, or so. What is the best way of going about this on my HP spectre, where online sources are saying that I shouldnot pop the keys fully off?
