Can't disable palmguard due to outdated driver.
Hello, can't disable palmguard on my notebook.
Basically whatever i do mouse freezes after 1 second, whenever i press any key on my keyboard.
I try to update Synaptics touchpad driver on one from syanptics website, but without any sucess.
Is anything can be done with this issue?
I'm working in a field of realtime graphics, and i can't move camera in the renderer from touchpad because of that... Only with mouse... Please help!

permanent glues spalased on screen and body but everything is working fine.
I was working in some craft work but unfotunately the permanent glue splased on my laptop and also the small drops falled on whole keyboard and body.
Now the proble is that it was aplastic kind of gum so sticked on the surface and liiked dmamged it.
So whatshould i do ?
Is it possible to change the outer boady and screen.
and how much does this will coist in India.

IM TRYING TO USE SKYPE ,YOUCAM BUT BOTH APPLICATIONS WERE NOT ABLE TO RECOGNISE INBUILT WEBCAM.IRONY IS MY DEVICE MANGER IS NEITHER SHOWING IMAGING DEVICES OPTION NOR A DRIVER IN SOUND,VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS.
PREVIOUSLY IT SHOWED CYBERLINK WEBCAM VIRTUAL DRIVER UNDER SOUND,VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS OPTION AND AGAIN IT WAS OF NO USE SINCE IT WAS NOT HELPFUL FOR VIDEO CALLING APPS IN RECOGNISING IN-BUILT WEBCAM.SO I UNISTALLED IT AFTER LOOKING FOR UPDATES,DISABLE/ENABLE AND EVERYTHING OF THAT SORTS.

Green dots on hp 15-f039wm screen
I have bought a used 15-f039wm laptop (with the intent of web browsing and small applications). I have noticed while looking at pictures and videos, there are flicking green dots on the screen (mostly on the color brown). These dots do not occur on an external monitor, and I have also ruled out the lvds cable. I've tried different drivers, and operating systems, but they still occur. Any idea what's causing this? It's extremely annoying. Feel free to ask for additional information

Blank Screen and Blinking Caps Lock??
My HP Pavilion x360's screen is black. The computer turns on but the screen remains blank. The Caps Lock LEDs blink, but that is all. Ive tried to do a hard reset but nothing happens. I read that the LEDs are emitting a blink code for a CPU issue, but I don't know how to fix the problem.

Touch Screen not Working
My touch screen hasn't worked since the windows 10 anniversary update last Novenber. I've updated the graphics and the human interface driver for touch. Still doesn't work. I've run the bios test before and after the driver upgrades, test failed both times.
Anyone know if HP is going to fix this.

Hp laptop -ENVY X-360 convertible -issue horizontal red line on display screen
Hello Hp Team,
I am Vamsc i got a Hp laptop -ENVY X-360 convertible ten months ago, with a global warranty for 1 year. I don't know how i got a screen display problem with a horizontal red line. I tried to contact the hp support but with no luck. Can you please suggest me and help me out of this. Eagerly waiting for a positive response from you guys. I live in australia, Queensland.

I am using HP pavilion g6 with serial number 5CD1436XQ5 and product number QG470PA#ACJ. Since I am using this laptop for writting papers and other text work for a long time but its not confortable. It creats a lot of problems. Especially headech, stress and eye burining kind of the problems. please suggest me how to resolve the problem. If possible I would like to replace the display of this system. Please assist me as soon as possible. I shall be thankful to you.
I found that the screen display of the new desktops are much much better than this laptop.

Dell active pen on hp spectre x 360 isn't writing smoothly
I have an HP Spectre x360 and I've been using a Dell Active Stylus on it for about a week. The touchscreen and the pen work fine except that the writing isn't smooth at all. I write on OneNote with it and the writing is very choppy. It makes my handwriting look like a child's handwriting... I used to use a Surface Pro 3 and I wrote on it just fine and the pen was perfectly smooth. I can't seem to reproduce the same smoothness with the HP and the Dell pen. I can't even write small letters with the pen without it looking choppy. Is this an issue with the Dell Active Stylus and I should get a different stylus or is this an issue with the laptop?

One of the thunderbolt 3 port on my Spectre x360 (kaby lake) cannot connect to an external display
I recently purchased an Hp Spectre x360 from BestBuy. The laptop ran great and gave me no issues until I hooked the laptop on a 4K monitor. There are two thunderbolt 3 ports on the machine, one actually works fine connecting to the external display. However, the other thunderbolt 3 port does not project anything on the external display. In addition, the internal display blacks out. I know for a fact that both thunderbolt 3 port should be able to project to an external display (even multiple) but that is not the case for me. In need of technical support or guidance.

Dedicated video card problem
When i use my notebook for playing games and it start to use the dedicated video card the screen become blue and i can only see the shapes of the games structures. If i choose to use the integrated video card this problem don't occur.

AMD RADEON R5 M430 GRAPHICS DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 7 64 BIt

I couldn't find the graphics driver (AMD radeon R5 M430) for HP 15 AY503TX (windows 7 64 bit) from hp site. I tried installing the driver from another site. It shows error msg and the driver was not successfully installed. I have tried installing multiple times and the results are same. Kindly help me to install the appropriate driver.

pop up screen
I have a 1 year old HP pavilion laptop, and a separate monitor, HP model w19b, SN [Personal Information Removed] plugged into it. I have two issues.
1st, when I have the larger monitor plugged in I cannot get audio from anything.
2nd, I recently started getting a window pop up in the middle of the screen on the separate monitor only which simply shows a box, and the word “AUDIO” at the top, an unusable volume slider in the middle, and the HP name at the bottom. This makes it nearly impossible to use the device
How do I manage to get volume when the larger monitor is plugged in, and permanently get rid of the pop up box?

No Matter what cables are tried the connectivity is Really poor Quality or wont connect at all (Need 1080P ) or
The only combination not tried so far is VGA to Display port.
So need to get 1080p From the Laptop to the screen. Both the scren and monitor are working sperately

How can I connect labtop "hp EliteBook 2540p" to TV (HDMI IN)

First all, I am not expertise with hardware. Because my labtop screan is 12 inch, I have problem in vision as the words are too small to read. I want to connect this labtop with my flat TV, 35 inch, (Samsung TV "version ss01"). My TV has HDMI IN + REG IN + DVI IN + USB ports. My labtop has four USB ports and some not-labeled ports, then I can not identified them.
How can I connect both devices to use my TV as a large monitor? what are the name of cables that can be utlized for connections.

cracked screen : Hp Spectre x360
I recently bought a HP spectre x360 15'' touch screen laptop from best buy. Within 2 months of my usage , while opening the laptop last week, the screen got cracked from the centre . This was totally unexpected. Just by opening the laptop , the screen has a crack in it. I have found several people with the same issue. Also , the hinges of the laptopare way too loose. The screen looks a bit slant . I have found this issue common with alot of people. This is not the problem. I have been to bestbuy , given my laptop for repair. They are charging me $514 for it. This is extremely expensive , given that the laptop cost is around 1000$. The screen repair costs me $514 which is way out of my budget. I dont think this is done and fair. I am ready to spend a bit of money for repairing it even while considering the poor design of this laptop which i realize now , after using it for a while. I cant spend half the laptops cost on only my screens repair. Please look into the matter and give some positive feedback. This has been dragged way too much and its urgent as per my situation.
