Hp pavilion X2 screen turned off (went blank I should say) last night and it's been more than 24 hours now. I've had it for about 6 months now. What do I do to make the display turn back on? I've seen many problems which are the exact same but everyone says "oh do a hard reset, just remove the battery and you're good" but you can't remove the battery out of this one. (It's the 2 in 1 detachable). What's my solution?

toch screen disappeared?!
I dont know how or why byt the touch screan just stopped working and on top of that the options to correct it have been removed from tghe control panel. i have done a hard reset and have looked up and done what i could yet still I do not know what to do.

LAG and SLOW newy brought notebook
Hi recently today I just brought this notebook and it just takes ages to boot up, load website pages, videos and all sorts of slow performances. First experince with HP laptops not sure if they all are like this or what? Please help so if anything is bad I can take it back to where I brought it from!!!!

cannot see edges when Z5E72EA#ABU connected to external display
Firstly, I am so sorry this question is a naive one 
When connecting Z5E72EA#ABU (Windows 10) to Panasonic TX-37LZD81 using HDMI-HDMI I cannot see the edges of the screen on the monitor. How do I adjust the laptop to ensure all of the displayed information is visible?
As far as I can tell, the TV supports up to 1,440 × 1,080 (4:3) or 1,920 × 1,080 (16:9) whilst the laptop has a native resolution (I think) of 1366 x 768. The TV does not really seem to be adjustable so how do I adjust the laptop output so I can see all the displayed information?

Where can I find the specs of my laptop screen?
Hi,
I have an old HP laptop, the HP G62 b10sv
I don't use it anymore, so I took off it's screen and I'm looking to buy a controller to drive it and use it as a monitor.
Is there any way to find the exact specs of the screen in order to buy the right controller? I need to know more than the resolution of the screen and the fact that is an LED screen

P.S. If you have any tips on how to make this screen an HDMI monitor, I'm all ears!

Turning on laptop getting a black screen
I just turned on my win 7 HP Pavillion G7 laptop and I get a black screen. the power light and num lock is on; I hear the fan and hard drive moving but not taking me to the windows startup so i can enter my password. this is not the first time i have had this problem. i have hit f2/f3, f10, and f8 the laptop is not responding to those commands.
I did a hard reset power off laptop for 30 seconds and took out the battery and plugged it back in. The screen is still black. any suggestions?

HP Pavilion 15t Touch 15.6-inch i5-6200U touch screen goes haywire
My toouch screen eventully goes haywire, forcing me to shut off my computer and turning it back on again....It does it again after about an hour of use....Haywire meaning things keep opening and closing poppoing up and disappearing....I think it is an issue with the touch screen and I would like to know how to fix it.

Tactile mousepad left click (for highlighting text, etc) not working
Ive been using my laptop normally and consistently for the past week as I work on school papers. I was doing some research in the library and using the mouspad as normal, but when I got home and began using it the mouspad stopped clicking. It still works in that I can move the mouse and tap-click, but the tactile left click wont work at all. I need to use the tactile click to be able to highlight text for my papers.
I tried turning it off and on again, as well as looking for a control panel menu that would solve this but have had no luck. I havent entered any command to make this happen so I'm at a loss on how to reverse it. Please help!

Internet Browser is Frozen on my desktop. I can see the search bar and toolbar and it wont go away
The top part of my internet browser is frozen on my screen. No matter what I have displayed I can still see the search bar, toolbar, and favorites. I cant go to full screen on anything without seeing it. I tried unistalling Chrome and now it just says Internt Explorer.

Display Brightness
DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS is really low. I already did all the settings requirements and correction. But no luck. Planning to return this HP X2 DETACHABLE 10.1 . If only the DISPLAY is bright enough, I will consider keeping it. I am OK with the Product builds and looks. But Brightness of Display is really unacceptable for me. Dont get me wrong...but I already compared it to several gadgets and devices that I have which is older model and lower screen resolution, but they are still Brighter than this unit considering this is a 2017 model. 840 G3 Full HD to Quad HD Upgrade
Hey Folks!
I am in love with my 840 G3, but have a couple of questions about the replacement of the FHD screen with QHD from the same line.
On checking PartSurfer, I found the display used on the QHD model (823952-001), but looks like there are a couple of differences.
First - The screen's mounting frame is different. On the FHD model, there are two holes at each bottom corner, but there is one on the QHD model.
Second - The display connector is different. The QHD screen has a wider connector than the FHD panel.
I could understand replacing all of these items, but my confusion stems from the PartsSurfer site stating that the cable kit and LCD back cover are the same part. 821161-001 for the LCD cover, 821174-001 for the cable kit are the same for my laptop (Z2A57UT) and for (V1H25UT) a laptop with QHD.
I am a pretty skilled laptop repair technician, so no replacemet will be too big of a job.
I know I should/could just go buy a model with QHD, but this laptop was given to me by a dear friend and holds some sentimental value.
Is there anyone that could shed some light on this?
