Surface pen on new 2017 spectre x360
I saw that the new 2017 kaby lake spectre x360 was compatible with n-trig pens so I bought the surface pen (the one that comes with the new surface pro 4/surface book), I connected the pen via bluetooth however it wont write, the eraser button works and it lauches one note however it doesn't ink, amI missing any drivers? Why isn't it working?

HP envy x360 not rotating, no auto-rotation option
I do not use the rotation feature on my HP Envy often, but went to rotate it today and their is no longer an auto rotation button in the notification tool bar. I checked the settings toadd the button back, it was not an option, under display settings there is no option to auto-rotate. Apparently an update took the feature off the computer.
Any help on fixing this issue would be very welcome.

Screen Noise when the Brightness level is below 100%
The new HP Spectre x360 15 inch 2017 I got emits an annoying high pitch noise when the brightness level is below 100%. The noise level varies according to the brightness. When the brightness is set to around 50~98, its the loudest. I now have to set the brightness level to 25% in order for me ignore the noise. The noise will completely disappear when the brightness is set to 0% or 100%.
The noise appears when the laptop is on battery. The noise disappears when I plug in the power. I follow the other post's instruction to update the BIOS to the version F.04 Rev.A But that didn't help
Please help. I like the laptop, but noise is too annoying to ignore.

Need to use dual monitor with HP Split x 2
Had to take my desktop PC in for repairs and I'm used to working with dual monitors. While it's away, I'm using my HP Split x 2 but would like to use one of my large monitors as well. I have connected a larger HP monitor to laptop using a HDMI cable but it only shows duplicate.
What do I need to do (in very plain language) to change the settings so I can do this?
I tried Extended but it still only lets me use the large monitor as my desktop. Can't activate anything on laptop.

Having issues with the display extending my new monitor with my HP Laptop
I have hooked up my Elitebook to the HP Pavilion 27xw 27-inch IPS LED Backlit Monitor. Since my notebook does not have an HDMI port I purchased a VicTsing VGA to HDMI Converter Adapter 1080P Video Output. This is not allowing multiple screens with my hp laptop. Every time I try to extend the screen it says signal out of range and says the refresh rate isn't compatible. It also says the same thing when I close my laptop screen even though I set it to do nothing so it's not going to sleep. It says that the monitor has to be at 75ghz and it's set to 60 ghz...it won't allow me to change it, plus the resolution it's wanting isn't available in the laptop's adapter drop down. What do you recommend?

Touchpad problem
Hi,
My husband recently bought this new laptop. He has plugged a mouse into it which works fine. But each time he switches on he has to switch the touchpad off. He would like it to be permanently disabled so long as the mouse is plugged in. Is that possible?

My display suddenly went very large - much bigger than the screen

mouse pointer begins to go crazy opening and closing out programs
My mouse becomes over active and starts opening and closing windows. At first I thought someone was taking over my computer. It wont allow me to click on anything. Windows pop up and I fight with it to hit the x to close them back out.
It is really speedy. I tried changing the mouse and it didnt help.
It does not happen all of the time. Like right now there is no problem and I am typing away. All of a sudden programs will begin opening and closing all over and the mouse starts jumping all over the page.
Finally after fighting with it, I am able to close everything out and restart.
Then it will work again for awhile.

Can I use HDMI as Input for other video source?
Can I input my home security cam dvr vga output feed to the HDMI (using vga to HDMI adapter) on laptop to view? And avoid buying a seperate monitor?

Connect external monitor to notebook
I am trying to connect an HP w17e LCD monitor to my HP Pavilion notebook and the monitor states "input not supported". I got a VGA to HDMI connector, plugged the monitor into the connector then into my notebook, then turned on the monitor and got that popup. I went into the display settings of the notebook and told it to look for other monitors and it still doesn't detect it.
Someone please help because this is driving me crazy. I'm not super techy, so I don't always understand the language, but I can follow direction well. Will the connector I'm using not work? The notebook only has HDMI and USB ports.

Recorded video will not play
I recently recorded a video interview using my laptop's video recording, the video was a little over 30 minutes long. When I went to play the video, my computer would not play it. When I try to open it, it says "Can not play. Choose something else to play. This item is in a format we don't support. 0xc1010103" even though it will play other videos I have recorded on the computer. I am not sure if the video was too long or if it somehow got corrupted.
This is a very important video that I need for a class assignment, is there any way I can play it?

When I go to power on the laptop my screen will not turn on unless I move the screen itself forward and backward and then eventually it will turn on. I just bought this laptop in January. I use this every day for school and I really need to know how to send it in as soon as possible for repair under my warrenty.
