Pink tinted webcam

My webcam is showing a pink haze around my picture. I've run all the updates, but it doesn't seem to be getting better. Is this a side effect of the infrared capability, or is something wrong with my camera?

Random FPS Drops while gaming

I've been having strange FPS drops especially while playing WoW. I have the latest Nvidia drivers, bios is up to date, and nothing else running in the background. I'm using recommended settings according to Nvidia Experience and have turned up/down and still have the issue. I'll be playing while plugged in, and it runs fine for about 10 minutes, then will randomly drop the fps by about 70%. Weird thing is - if I unplug the charger and plug it back into the laptop my FPS goes back to normal for about another 10 minutes.

I've tried messing with power settings, rolling back drivers, reinstalling drivers and pretty much anything else I could think of. I'm wondering if there's anything else I'm not thinking of right now. It's almost like my laptop forgets it's plugged in and goes into a power saving mode as if it's on battery.

Any help would be much appreciated!

HP ZBook 15G2 Display Lines Troubleshooting-Diagnostics-to determine root cause

A portion of my screen has lines running down through it while I am in BIOS, during bootup and in Windows 7.  I have updated drivers, reset BIOS, ran the UEFI check, restarted and hard booted the ZBook Laptop and the issue still occurs.  Can someone assist in performing further checks or using additional diagnostic tools to determine the root cause?

Laptop with 2 external monitors - after reboot, shows 3 monitor attached even with laptop lid closed

$

I just purchased a brand new Spectre x360 13-AC023DX.  I have 2 external monitors.  Each of the monitors are connected to the Spectre via the 2 USB-C connections, with 2 different USB-C-to-HDMI adapters.  I keep the laptop lid CLOSED at all times. The two external montors display fine, no issue there.

Here is the issue:

Whenever I reboot the laptop, again, keeping the lid closed the whole time, it starts up not remembering my display configuration.  Furthermore, it shows 3 displays attached to it instead of only 2.  The 3rd one represents the laptop screen itself.  The 3rd screen should not show up in Wndows display settings when the laptop lid is closed.  The only way to get the 3rd screen to disappear is to open the laptop lid allthe way, then re-close it.  Once you do that, WIndows display settings will properly show only the 2 external monitors, and reset to the display configuration I had before the reboot.

I have uploaded all drivers to the latest, updated BIOS to the latest, and set BIOS to defaults.  I just had my prior laptop set up with this same configuration (same monitors, but connections were via displayport to hdmi) and it worked as expected w/o the above issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

intermittent/occasional display issue

Ok so I've researched this thoroughly but haven't come across anything resembling my specific problem anywhere.. Honestly it's more of an inconvenience but sometimes, when I turn my computer on or wake it from sleep or just when the screen has shut off for whatever reason, my screen is kind of blurry/splotchy/spotty mostly along the top of the screen. It's hard for me to describe and again I don't think I've come across anything where someone has described my particular issue.

Anyway what I've been doing is just closing/opening the screen making it turn off then back on and sometimes, though it seems entirely random, it will just go back to normal after doing this a few times. Sometimes it just takes 1 or 2 times and others it can take quite a few.

I know this isn't a huge deal and I have obviously found some form of a temporary fix but it's been going on for over a year at least and does seem to be happening more often and I'm pretty sure I'm having to turn the screen off/on more times to clear it up. Hopefully someone might recognize this issue or might have dealt with something similar..

Anyway thanks for reading and I look forward to any assistance that might be provided.

On Friday, I hooked up an external monitor to my notebook and then tried to set up as a 2 screen display.  Now all I can do is start up the computer but the screen remains black.  ON the external monitor, I can see the mouse and that is it.  I reboot the computer and try in safe mode in which I can use the computer once again, however, it does not allow me to adjust the screen settings again.  I need help to reset the screen settings in regular mode!

Thanks for your help

Message about Battery being almost full, plugged in, but not charging,

The battery discharges with use, recharges when the charger is plugged in, even 'tho the "Power Window" says, "92% available (plugged in, not charging)".

There is NOTHING wrong with the power system, just the programmed labeling.

Can I force use a screen resolution than the native resolution of my laptop?

Hello,

I want to increase the screen resolution of my laptop from 1366x768 to something greater. There are no options to increase it from the Resolution Settings in Windows, neither can I find an option in the Radeon Settings. My question is that is there a way to do it? I don't care if it slows down my system a bit. I can do it on my desktop, so why not on my laptop? Please help me and if not possible, do also tell why.

Thanks.

Abnornal performance in ZBook studio

Hi~

I purchased this laptop 1.5monthe ago. But still struggling with performance issue. When I use laptop in battery mode, the performance is only 20% of the original one.  Actually I purchased this in Korea but none of HP engineer in Korea  helped to solve this issue. HP Korea said this is normal. But costing $2,500 laptop with quad-core and external graphic chipset showed only 50% of laptop performance having 6th generation i5 dualcore cpu with integrated graphic chipset(HD520). I don'r think this makes sense.

Please refer following Youtube and give some recommendation.
