is THIS the correct board to request assistance with graphics issues? ?

 

If NOT, PLEASE stroll on over to "Hardware Discussion Board" and

search out the stream of 'cribguru', 'REO51ST' or me 'TexasIndian'

 

if YES, then please advise...original OS W7, seamless download free W10

and the ONLY issue has been the annoying pop-up stating the following:

 

"No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly.

  Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware."

 

More specific laptop identifying specifications listed in my "Hardware Board" post.

Any/all guidance is welcome; feel free to use 20th century lingo, even stick figures

as opening left hinge area is seperating, I have recieved a FAN SHUTDOWN OVERHEAT error message a few times

plastic case is seperating from main body ie. keyboard mouse pad,   to open I hold the left corner by hinge as to take pressure off the plastic case,  it is getting worse

Could anybody help me out from this display problem as I am having an issue with to plug another monitor to this laptop via HDMI port. I have an older monitor with VGA output, and I bought a VGA/HDMI adater for the Laptops. When I plug it in the Laptop not recongize it. Just says High Definition Audio device not plugged in. I have to watch kissanime online through a cartoon site. The monitor works fine with my older laptop which has VGA port on it. So tell is there any solution to make this one work too?

Whenever I load a movie/video to view on my laptop, it plays in black & white.

 

This includes using website based videos or using the disc drive.

 

Do I need to change the settings?

Hello!

I have a Compaq 6910p and I want to install The AMD X2300 driver and the catalyst control panel on it. So, I downloaded the installation file on your website. But during the installation, an error occurs and a messege like this appears:

 Installation terminée(Des avertissements se sont affichés pendant l'installation).

Pour plus de détailos, consulter le journal.

Hi,

 

I have a HP Elitebook Folio 1020 G1 for about 6 months now. I have purchased the HP docking station and now trying to work with two monitors. One connected with VGA and another one connected with DVI. The monitors I am using are Samsung S22C301. The issue I am having is that the one connected with DVI blinks every 5-10 minutes for about 2 seconds. I have tried re-installing drivers, changed cables and nothing, I still get the blinks. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hello, 

 

I'e been asked to order a 32" 4K CAD monitor that would be attached to HP ProBook 650 G1 (model F1P86EA#AKD). The laptop is running with an i5-4210M / Intel HD Graphics 4600. 

Before buying it I started having doubts whether the integrated graphics processor would be able to handle additional 4K display. 

 

Has anyone else tried it?

Hi!

 

I bought my HP Spectre x360 for 3 months ago, and there is an ongoing issue with the display. Ever so often, it acts as if someone is pressing a specific spot on the touchscreen even though I'm not doing anything. For example if it is unluckily happens to be the chrome icon, it minimizes and brings up the browser repeatedly and I cannot do anything to spot it other than rebooting. Is this problem solvable, or is there serious flaws in the hardware?

     greetings,

I have youcam 5, which worked fine even after the windows10 upgrade last year. Recently the cam just stopped loading on chat sites, although the cam still works on the pc for vids and pics. I went to the cyberlink site and updated to the most recent version5.0.5118), but still the the "loading" circle endlessly spins. I can't broadcast anymore.

I'm considering downloading HP's mediasmart cam, is that a wise move?

any help appreciated, thanks.

Hii sir...my laptop is HP AY503TX ...i had facing some issue....when i press power button while running normally screen off ,after again pressing power button the screen does not show any thing ..its looks like freezing(looks like old black and white tvs screen when there is no cable)...every time i used to shut down....please solve this problem...reply me sirr.....

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, my touchscreen stopped working.

 

It does not even show up in UEFI test mode under components.

The device driver is grayed out and says its not connected.

 

I have checked services and start and stopped it, but still nothing

 

I am aware that Win 10 changes a vew things but, the screen does not respond to touch at all.

Please help..

Hello So I bought a laptop for my mam today, literally about an hour ago. And said I would set it up for her but when I turned it on the first thing I noticed was a bright blue pixel up the top of the screen. I am very annoyed as it was brand new! While I know I can just bring it back and get a refund or exchange I would love to just be able to sort it if possible. Is it possible to fix a bright pixel? Or will it eventually just become a dead pixel? I really hope someone can help!

Hello

 

I have owned a HP ENVY m6-p113dx for a little over a year now, and the touch screen has worked fine up until about a month ago.

 

One day, the F keys stoped working for unknown reasons. I went to the official HP support website and found the following article:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02035108

 

It didn't do anything the first try, but the second time my F keys were fixed. Ever since then, the touchscreen has been disabled and refuses to function properly no matter what I do. I tried looking at ways to fix it on the HP website again, and the multiple solutions it has given me that I've tried ended in my computer sending me an error saying that it doesn't have a built in touch screen.

 

I have no idea how or why it's broken, but if anyone could help me fix this problem it would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time, and have a great day!

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion DV6700 and I upgraded it to Windows 7 Professional.  My issue is that when I try to render games like Minecraft or FeralHeart, either the game crashes, or the terrain doesn't load.  Here's an example of what FeralHeart looks like:

I think this has something to do with my graphics card driver.  I even switched (in game) from openGL to DirectHD and nothing happened.  Please help if you can.  Thanks!
