Serial Number of my HP Envy 15 inch laptop screen is J2R72AV. When I lookup in PartSurfer it shows the entry but nothing can be done as Add to Cart field shows N/A.
I am trying to find the replacement screen from amazon or ebay and I need to know how many pins the screen connector has for this model number? I dont want to open the screen to see it manually. Is there a specification somewhere I can look into?

Is there any way I can enable touchscreen on my laptop (Running Windows 10)? Or would I have to install a new touchscreen? Any help appreciated.
Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the touch pad slightly. I've found that I have to just barely touch the pad to scroll and any pressure at all causes it to select whatever is under the cursor. I've been using a MacBook Air for the last four years and never had this issue.
Also is it possible to turn the touch screen touch off? I find that I like using the keyboard better. If you try and hold the laptop in your hand, it's natural to grab it by the hinged area and your thumb naturally touches the screen, which causes the menu to pop up. Certainly I'm learning not to do this but if I could turn off the touch screen touch in laptop mode, it would be nice.

I'm using HP Support Assistant for my laptop and printer hapily, but it does not recognize my HP Monitor (Pavilion 23xw). Is there a reason for that? Anything missing or wrong?

I am considering ordering an HP Pavilion x360. I wanted to know if the laptop comes with a protective film on the screen? The computer is touch screen.
I only recently got my HP omen, it is now 2 weeks old. The touchpad multifinger gestures are not working, includig scrolling. I have the latest version of all drivers, including Synaptics touchpad driver (v19.3.11.37). All settings are as they should be for it to work. When I open "extra muisopties/additional mouse options" a window with the following message pops up: (Synaptics pointer) "configuratieschermuitbreiding is niet compatibel met stuurprogrammaversie/configurationwindowextension not compatible with driver version" which in my case is Windows 10. I have read countless support pages and troubleshooters on the HP website, but none refers to my problem specifically and none of the answers resolves my problem. Scrolling is something quite important to me, so HP, could you please help me resolve my problem?
I purchased a HP 15-AY503TX laptop with DOS today. After laoding it with Windows 10 64 bit, I started to download all necessary drivers through HP Support Assistant app. It downloaded most of the drivers but it did not load the Graphics card driver. After installing the driver from HP website I installed it through the HP Assistant. But the driver shows error as "NO AMD GRAPHICS DRIVER IS INSTALLED OR THE GRAPHIC DRIVER IS NOT FUNCTIONIG PROPERLY..". I tried installing through AMD website through automatic installer but of no use.
I have tried re-installing it 4 times but unsuccessful. Snapshots below:
I also noticed that IDE ATA/ATAPI was also showing error in the device manager as seen above.
Kindly help in the issue.

Hi all,
I recently bought a new gaming laptop (HP omen 17-w121nd) which worked perfectly the first two days.
The third day it worked perfectly in the afternoon, but after shutting down and starting up again in the evening some issues arised. The laptop was getting very low FPS in Overwatch and COD4 and felt a bit slow on response in general. After consulting the Overwatch forum I tried the following:
- updating overwatch
- updating the graphic drivers to the newest ones. (as with all other drivers, i ran the updates the day I got the laptop)
- downgrading the graphic drivers one step back (as suggested in the overwatch forum, these were considered the most stable for the game)
- rebooting several times.
- unplugging and replugging power supply.
But because also COD4 has trouble, I suspect the problem isn't with overwatch.
The strange thing is: after trying all this (and not getting results). I waited until the next day, and all problems were gone. Then one day after that, Boom, problems are back, very low FPS. And so was the day after that. Right now, two days forward, the games are working again. Without changing anyting in between.
One more strange thing that happens: the moments where the games have problems, also the HP support assistant won't find any updates. Right now the games work, and also the support assistant works.
I've used the hardware scan, and it could not find any issues. I'm at a loss, and on the verge of sending the laptop back in. Which I really don't want, because I really love the laptop (on the days it performs well)
BTW, I've also checked for overheating, but that wasnt the case (see pictures)

I bought two HP Folio G1 ultrabooks, in one was M7 processor and glossy touch screen in second was M5 processor and matte full HD non touch screen antiglare. I not like glossy screens and swaped motherboards, all reconnected as was before, but that is intersting all working iin both laptops with no any problems, only one issue in M5 model with new installed touch glossy screen, it's after instaliation Windows 10 can't see that it's touch panel and touchscreen is not working only as normal screen. but it's 100% touch screen. And I now think this problem in Bios or in Windows or in hardware? Because in Windows 10 with this glossy screen with touch panel show Pen and Touch: No Pen or Touch Input is available for this Display. Operating system installed was on this motherboard when is had matte screen, but when I swapped motherboards and connected touchscreen, Windows 10 can't see it and even not helped full system reset of Windows 10.
Or it's such politic of HP if you buying non touch model you must stay with non touch model without any chances to replace glossy screen on matte or overvise.

Action center will not close no matter what I try. I have tried every fix on the forums with nothing helping. It is now to the point that my internet browser will not open nor will the email app. There is no virus. I have already run a full scan. Would really like some help. Software is all up to date.
Hello, my HP laptop started doing this lately and is getting worst every day. I had McAfee installed and thought it was the reason so I uninstalled the program. No change.

Inspecification appears that is installed eitherintegrated graphics(IntelHD520) either dedicated(AMDRadeonR5M430).
I would like toknow if, turning onthe computer,is usedthe integratedordedicated and what can I do to exclude the integrated?
I would also liketo know if (excluding theintegrated) the graphics systemuses systemRAM.

My HP Split x2 has a flashing circle that appears constantly . The screen juns randomly to other programs and I canr do anything with it I have run a full scan through my McAfee. Please please can someone suggest a solution.

Which`s the best fitted touch pad modle?
If I do this, can I still have support and troubleshooting?
If I can do it, can you give me some steps to add the touch pad?
