Click and drag / highlighting text
My HP laptop no longer allows me to highlight text (for copying and pasting) using the mouse on the laptop. It no longer lets me drag emails into folders etc. Any ideas ehy and how I can fix it?

Laptop Powers On - Black Screen - Serial Number Search Not Working
Hi!
My laptop just shows a Black screen when switched on? I've tried everything! My laptop is under warranty, it needs to be returned to get fixed.
I cannot contact Customer Support online as when I input my Serial and Product numbers the website says there is no info regarding these numbers??? And hence, won't let me go any further to raise an issue with customer support?
Is there any way I can contact Customer Support?
So frustrating!!!!

Brightness Function Keys( f2 and f3) NOT Working
Brightness Function Keys( f2 and f3) NOT Working , there is no option of adjusting the brightness in control panel,only option is calibrate the color.i am confused which driver i should install or update so that f2 and f3 start working properly.

Cracked screen on HP Spectre
Hi. My husband purchased a new HP Spectre for us at Christmas. Two weeks after using it I opened the laptop and was surprised to see a large crack in the screen.
I took it to Best Buy where we purchased it and there was no longer a warenty available. I called HP and they didnt seem to want to help at all other than charge us an additional $500 to repair the crack.
This is obvioulsly a manufacturing defect. I would expect a copmany as large as HP to take care of their customers, especially when the product clearly has a defect. We have been long time HP users and have always been satisfied, and would expect better service. This laptop was not cheap and now the touchscreen is unusable.
Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Not able to install Intel Graphic Driver
i'm using windows 8.1 os in my laptop and ive successfully installed the amd driver, i thought the amd driver will also install the intel one because its switchable but it wont, i'm getting this error "this computer does not meet the Minimum requirements for installing the software" help me.

When the laptop sleeps, and i wake it back up the screen is all over the place, windows opening by themselves. anyone else have this problem?

Trying to connect HP ENVY Notebook (1-HDMI, 1-USB and 1-USB-C ) to 2 new HP monitors with HDMI
One monitor easily connects going from HDMI to HDMI. bought a single cord with HDMI on one end and USB-C on the other off of Amazaon and it does not work. Suggestions please?

Graphics Card for HP Envy 15 Notebook PC
Hello, i am planing to buy new graphics card for my Envy 15, but i am not sure if that is possible for my laptop. Right now, inside is Intel HD 4000 and is not suporting anything what i am trying to do, any softwer or some of video games...i heard that is possible to upgrade graphic card but i don't know which one, model and mark (again if that is possible for my laptop)

Model Number Information of notebook and parts
1) What do the letters "CY" at the end the model number signify .......... model number: 17-g-150cy?
2) Using HP Partsufer and the product number-N9E32UA, the part number for the screen is 809300-001 (LCD PANEL 17.3 AG HD+ TS (HD+ is 1600 x 900) ...... What is the actual "model number" for this part. I wish to determine this without having to disassemble the display panel.
3) Does HP have an "on-site" comparison chart for the Pavilion notebooks? There are so many model numbers which are so close to each other, I want to see the difference.

All videos play zoomed in
When I try to play a video it plays supper zoomed in. Doesn't matter what I'm watching it on. Youtube videos, videos on the netflix app, any videos at all play super zoomed in and distorted. I've tried everything. ctrl + scroll doesn't work, ctrl and + doesn't, ctrl, alt [ does nothing, turning of adobe flash does nothing. Please help

Missing PCI\VEN Driver on Win7
Hello,
the notebook is missing some driver "PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_30BE103C&REV_10" so I can not connect to a beamer. Searched on HP website and wonloaded the HP Support Assistant but still missing.
Operating on Win7 Pro x64.

Graphic card is not installed correctly
This annoying message " radeon settings are currently not available. please try again after connecting amd graphics" Any solution ? . things i've tried
that happened to me when i installed the amd graphic driver from support center
. 1st installed a fresh windows
.. 2nd _ removing drivers with DDU and reinstalling it .. also with AMD Cleanup utility .
. My notebook name is " HP ay108ne"
I installed it from HP support center and it's not working as i said ..
also the same for Crimson driver
my GPU is R5 m430
Windows 10 64x
PS : i noted that " Microsoft display driver " is still in appared in Driver manager
with amd driver
also games are so slooow meaning that can't recognize the graphic card :/
Also when i installed the HP assistant it redirected me to ay100ne drivers not ay108ne :/

Dual Monitor
I am trying to connect my HP notebook to a HP Compaq LA2306X monitor from my HDMI port on my notebook to the display port on the monitor. It isn't detecting the second monitor, triend restarting it but no luck. Any help?

three new printers,mistake after mistake by h.p., still sitting here with 3 new printers
i used hp 5 years ago and orered a printer, after 5 replacements arrived and me never getting a new one as mine was new,. i demanded they pick up all 5. they never gave me a refund nor picked up printers. i donated all of them to goodwell. i tried telling coporate no responce. i was to tired to fight any more. stupid me,
this october i called in on an extended warranty on one i bought at office depot. the man told me he would give me a reduced price on better bigger all in one printer. mine had defective heads .
i agreed and agreed on 6 free months of ink thru ink prograsm. since then the printer within month picked up and jamed every time i used it. they agrred after i got with a supervisor named tara t6o send me an express brand new one next day on saturday it did niot arrive till tuersday so over week no printer . i called her told her it was a refurbished one and took 5 days to arrive and was left on sidewalk and not signed for at all. she did not help i demanded new suopervisor richard. he took over said he saw where she asked for new one, so i had no heads in thjis one she sent. he said also she sent regular fedx. e promised to send new ine right away, i get saturdat must sign for and he ageede to pay me for hiring man to do all srt up take down box up etc. fedx never came 2 weeks ago. i emailed him over and over. he stopped answering at all.
i am setting here with the printer he sent express with it also not working. no fredx to pick up. i have contacted better business foitr thier area. they will help me but tell evertune buy local not online from hp

HP 2711x CPU usage issue with Macbook Pro OS Sierra
I am using a 2012 Macbook Pro with 16MB RAM and running OS Sierra. The computer is running extremely slow so I checked the Mac activity monitor which saids that the kernel_task is running at 700-800% CPU. Through a process of elimination, I found that what's causing that is the HP 2711x monitor. Once I unplug it, everything worked fine.
Are their updated drivers for this monitor that work with OS Sierra, I checked support on HP and Apple and can't find any updated driver or is this another problem???
Can I please get some asistance on this issue.
