I have an HP G60-117US notebook that I am trying to watch streaming videos on, after a minute or so the display will freeze up, but the audio keeps playing. This notebook originally had Windows Vista, I upgraded the Bios, and drivers and upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and it still has the same problem. I downloaded newer video drivers from nVidia, now the streaming plays fine on the notebook display, but I cannot get the HDMI port to work. The nVidia Control Panel recognizes the external display, but the TV displays no signal.

Windows 7 VGA drivers Probook 450 G4

on our network we use windows 7 and we just got some HP probooks 450 g4's and noticed the website does not have the VGA driver for them for windows 7.
I was wondering if some helpful person out their could tell me if their is a VGA driver for windows 7 for a probook 450 G4.

Screen Goes back During usiage but does not Turn off or go to sleep.
While im using my Laptop it, the screen will just go black. Ive had it about 2 weeks and it just started doing it. It just Goes Black. I hit the Power button then you can see the computer go to sleep (The screen Shuts off) and then i hit it again and the screen comes on no problem. Really Annoying cause its my Work Computer and i will be on the phone and needing to Refernce a Document and boom it happens.

Spctre x360 15t - disable tap to click????
Just got the new Spectre 15t - love it so far.
I'm having issues with the trackpad and the tap to click function. It's set for tap to click and driving me nuts - a slight brush against the trackpad sends clicks flying.
I've looked all over the driver and can't find the buttons and checkboxes that are talked about all over the Internet. Is there an alternate driver or registry hack I can apply to get the tap to click disabled?

CTRL+ALT+DEL has never worked on this laptop, any ideas?
I get the odd screen freeze on this laptop. It seems to drink up RAM like gin. On any computer I've ever owned, I knew I could rely on CTRL+ALT+DEL to unstick me.
Never have been able to get this to work on this laptop! I've tried all of them - the CTRL+ ALT from left side of keyboard + DEL above right of keyboard beside of PRT SC; CTRL + ALT on right side of space bar + the same DEL as previously mentioned; and I have used those two CTRL + ALT combos with the DEL on the number pad. None of these combinations work.
Is there a setting I seemed to have never known about that can get this to happen? Or is this just a problem these HP's have?
Any enlightenment would be appreciated as I don't like force quitting. Many thanks in advance.

Videos won't play
I have an HP Envy with Windows 10 and as of last night I cannot get any videos to play. Whether it be a webcam video, Facebook video, Youtube, etc, they simply wont play, but my internet is working fine. I didn't recently download anything to my computer, and I ran a Full Scan and there were no reported issues. Also my Action Center has been glitching, it hasn't been opening when I click it, and the same notification keeps poping up over and over. And since this I also cannot play music that is on my computer.

HDMI monitor is cut-off
I have a ViewSonic monitor with an HDMI port. However, when I try to connect the monitor using HDMI (both directly from the laptop port or on my 3005pr USB 3.0 Port Replicator) all of the edges of the screen are cut-off. Oddly, if I use an HDMI to DVI adaptor to connect the monitor, the screen is not cut-off. Why would running it through an adapter work better than a direct connection?

HP PAVILION 15-P131na Lag time and fuzzy video for live and web cam stuff even with C920pro?? Help
Please can you help my web cam has never been that good but I really noticed when I tried to record videos for presentations that it was not up to scratch with a lag time on the audio.
As a solution I purchased a C920 logitec web cam but still the same issues even when I have made the changes suggested for the faulty software on the C920.
This is really frustrating and very disapointed that the video will not do what I want it to and considering getting a new laptop if I cannot fix these issues because it is costing my business money not being able to do LIVE videos properly.
Any help will be greatfully received I am not a tech wizkid so step by step instructions for dummies best please :-)

HP Envy 17 video card replacement
Hoping to get some clarification on repairing an HP Envy 17 laptop. The exact model is a 17t-3200. The screen is going blank after initial startup. It appears to happen at the point that the video would be handed off to the video card. I can boot the machine into windows safe mode(f8) and also into the HP diagnostic and recovery modes and the screen is viewable. One of the HP diagnostic tests for video memory resulted in a fail. The laptop is out of warrenty
When I initally contacted HP I was informed that HP would be able to repair the laptop. There would be an inital diagnosis fee to obtain an estimated price for repairs. If I chose to have the repair done, the diagnosis fee would be deducted from the total. I chose to delay sending the laptop off until I could make backup copies of my files.
Once I had done that I contacted HP again, (a few days later), about returning the laptop for repair. I called the same support number. This time I was informed that HP could not repair the laptop because a video card to fit this machine was no longer available.
So, why the different information each time? Is there a way to confirm that there is in fact no video card available to fit this laptop. It is operating fine other than the video issue. I would prefer to get this machine repaired if possible, even to have as a back up unit.

HDMI connection
My laptop screen has been broken for a while and that has not been a problem units recently as I have had it connected to an external monitor using an HDMI cable. However, following a laptop update I cannot get the display on the monitor (it says no signal) to work and have tried changing both the cable and monitor. As I cannot use the laptop screen to fix this I am at a loss of what to do.

HP Spectre X 360 laptop auto touch issue
Hi,
I recently bought a HP Spectre X 360 laptop from Best buy (during thanks giving). The laptop had an isse with touch screen. It auto touches automatically and will not allow me to move cursor or do any thing. As it is a touch screen it keeps on going for a while and I need to manually restart the laptop.
So, I exchnaged my laptop and got a brand new unit from Best Buy. After 30 days again the issue started with the new unit. I raised a case and the case manager and he sufggested me to conatct best buty. As it is past 30 days Best buy is not willing to replace the unit and case manager came back saying that the laptop needs to be repaired and it cannot be replaced by a new unit.
I paid 1000$ fro the laptop got a defect piece exchanged it and again got a defect piece and all HP people were saying is that I need to get a defect piece repaired.
I don't undersatnd the HP policy at all, at least customer satisfaction is not being considered. Can some one please help me or provide me a way to escalate my scenario????????
FYI: I have a lot of videos recorded and you can even see a lot of them online if you wanted to know what the auto touch issue is.

Synaptics not working

I bought my laptop two months ago but it got affected with malware for which I performed system recovery. System recovery fixed the problems malware created in my computer but my touchpad (synaptics clickpad driver) stopped working after that. How can I make my touchpad rework??

LCD Screen + Warranty
I have a HP Probook 450 G1, and the screen looks like it has liquid leaking from the inside. There is no crack whatsoever. Whenever I touch the screen, the liquid seems to move a little bit. It keeps spreading out more and more. I have a HP Care Pack, will they fix my laptop? Or do I have to go to the repair shop to get it fixed? Thanks.

Two finger scrolling still active after lifting one finger
After using two finger scrolling, I lift 1 finger up so I can use the mouse pointer but for a second it continues to scroll instead of being able to use the pointer. Anyone have this issue?

Monitor, a portion of the screen black then return normal
Good morning,
A portion of the screen, about 1/3 turns black, then returns to normal. It not crashed.
I think that might be a connection, that sometimes comes off a little bit...
Another thing, minor important, the power button stays on after shutdown.

Reduce spacing between desktop icons
Hello, I have successfully reduced the icons on my desktop (Windows 8.1), which leaves plenty of space between the icons, both vertically and horizontally - is there any way I can reduce the spacing so I can have more lines of icons and more columns? Many thanks.
