I have a Sleekbook TS M6 K015 dx. OS is Windows 8.1. All updates are installed. The problem is:
When I leave the computer alone, the screen (display) goes black after about 30 seconds. If I touch the display or any key it comes right back up with whatever I have showing. I have the setting set for sleep after 15 min. of non use. What might be the problem.

G71 449wm bios in external monitor
So I have a flash drive and everything set up to reinstall windows 7 because I want to start new on my laptop, however, I don't have a screen built in anymore, it broke and was taken out a while ago, so I made due using a monitor from a desktop. But now I need to view the bios, and I can't because the display won't work until after windows boots.

Scratch on screen before purchasing
Sir,
This to inform you that around two months back I had purchased below product,
HP Pavilion 15-e038tx Notebook PC

I found a scratch on the top side of screen, I also contacted HP service center but they replied we cannot do any thing. since this scratch was already there on product, I expect best possible effort from your side.

game wasn`t starting without Physx, and i`ve installed it from nVidia website
mafia 2 has started, but when i`ve closed it, my screen was in pink-orange collours (like top of the image)

laptop monitor wont come on
My hp envy 7240 monitor won't come on. I reloaded the drivers and still nothing. I have it hooked to an external monitor right now. Is it the led lights? If so, how do you fix that?

This is the most bizzare LCD issue I've ever seen
Greetings!
I recently woke up from a nap and decided to clean my rather dirty (as in smeary from potato chips and such) HP 2000-2D24DX laptop. I've recently been pondering on attemting to upgrade the resolution, but it in no way caused me to force this issue.
Basically, I clean my laptops with straight tap water and a wash cloth dedicated for cleaning them. They're fluffy, so it's not hard on them.
So I gently cleaned my LCD and the rest of my laptop, and I nearly had a heart attack when I turned it on.
What the heck is this thing? Can I possibly fix it? I can't really return this in to HP because I use this for my education.
I have no idea what to do right now, but I'm still panicing.
*Note: I recleaned the screen with the same method, nothing happened. There's also a small spot in the lower left corner, but it's barely visible.
Should I really have to return this to HP, can I remove the hard drive in it? It contains sensitive data.

Can't install drivers for Dual GPU [dm4t-1000]
Fresh install of OS...I tried drivers from every site I could get:
1) HP support
2) ATI support
But it never works, even if both do detect that there is an ATI card & intel card. How can I install video drivers if not even the drivers from the HP site doesn't work?

I HAVE A HP DV7 4065DX LAPTOP. MY PROBLEM IS THE GRAPHICS. EVERYTHING THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE BLACK IS COMING UP GREEN. I HAVE GREEN DOTS ON VIDEOS AND PICTURES. I CAN READ WORDS AND TEXT FINE. LIKE THE BACKGROUND OF WINDOWS DESKTOP THERES GREEN DOTS. BUT WHEN I PLUG UP AN EXTERNAL MONITOR EVERYTHING IS FINE. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM ? AND IS IT FIXABLE?

Screen works until i am asked for my password to sign in
So my screen works until i am asked to sign in at the place where it shows whatever picture you picked for your profile. If i boot in safe mode the screen works properly.. If i do test and stuff the screen work how it supposed to work. But if i try to log onto my regular profile it will go real dark but not black. If i shine a bright light i can see what im looking at and sign in and move it to my tc screen and use a wireless keyboard and mouch only problem is i use this computer for school nd connot figure out whats wrong. I spilled some water but i opened it up and dried it. Anyone know what could be the problem for this..
Dont know if i mentioned that the keybaord kinda works but not really most keys are wrong or dont work.

Graphics Driver ProBook 4730s
I don't seem to be able to update the graphics driver on my ProBook 4730s which has a switchable graphics chipset. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). According to HP's website the latest driver for the Intel chipset on this product is version 8.15.10.2559 (22 Feb 2012) and the latest ATI driver for the second chipset (i.e. AMD Radeon HD 7470M) is version 8.91-111013A-132348C (30 Jan 2012). I'm able to execute the ATI driver. However, the device manager still displays the old driver after the installation (in my case 8.910.0.0 dated 13.10.2011). Secondly, when I execute the current Intel driver I get a message saying "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software." Hence, my current Intel driver (version 8.910.0.0 dated 13.10.2011) does not seem to be updated either. I would be very happy if someone could help me to find out what's going wrong.

Hp Envy 15 screen turned red at startup
My HP Envy 15 has something wrong with its screen. It turns red during the startup and never works properly, when it comes into the operating system, you can see pixels on screen instead of a smooth and correct display. I have installed Ubuntu and Windows dual boot, none of the system can eliminate the issue. I guess it was the hardware problem. The windows show the video card works OK in its device manager
