My pc keyboard and mouse touchpad stopped working after upgrading from windows 8.1 to windows 10. My friend tried to fix the problem by opening the computer. The problem was not fixed, instead he created another problem, touchscreen stopped working. I tried to re-install touchscreen drivers, to no avail. When i try to open 'view pen and touch info', it says "no pen or touch input is available for this display". Now i don't know i can fix all this... Please help

HP laptop screen randomly gets flickering lines
I just got a new HP laptop in October and a couple days ago as I'm online reading the screen randomly blacks out with a bunch of white and grayish horizontal lines probably like 6 rows of them all over the screen and itd flicker so the lines move randomly. Whenever it does that I cant see anything else but the black screen and lines. Its happened a few times since and happening more frequently. This is a new laptop that Ive barely used so I really hope I can get it fixed. I have McAfee protection and I've checked a few times and it says everythings good theres no virus.

Slow video loading
I just bought this laptop: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-15-ay000-Notebook-PC-series/10862300/model/12378195 and I have a problem I never encountered with the old Toshiba I had: online videos, be them 2 minute clips or whole movies, are loading too slowly, regardless of the speed of the Internet. I have to pause them, manually choose a higher quality each time (cause it doesn't remain set like it did on the old laptop) and generally wait every single time, which is so annoying.
On Youtube, for example, I have a playlist and even when I delete one of the videos, I have to wait a few good seconds before it does the job, besides the things I already said above. It doesn't only take some time for it to load, but even for it to delete!
What could be the problem and what can I do? Thanks!

I'm trying to switch to AMD which is representered as 0x3f.
It gives some error and switching failed.
I thought sudo will work again i tried and getting the same result.
Did anybody successfuly swiched form Intel to AMD in HP AY503TX in any linux distribution. Will i be able to get any on site assistance from some official HP guys (Not for free I'm ready to pay for that service). Or those who want to run linux on mechine should not purchase "HP-AY503TX" .

HP ENVY 15-j140na screen issue
Hi all,
Recently started encountering an issues with my laptop - long story short, the screen occasionally glitches out and turns into a series of grey-ish blocks. It can still detect where the pointer is (the grey blocks flicker accordingly) and can be fixed 80% of the time by altering the angle of the screen.
The issue occurs at any random time, independant of how long the laptop is running, what temperature it is at, what programs it is running etc.
Any help would be appreciated!

Buttons not working on HP Pavilion
I purchased a HP Pavilion Convertible Laptop in Aug 2016. I am having trouble with some of the keys/buttons, particularly 't' and 'y'. Someimes having to depresses the key really hard but it is very hit and miss when they work.
I purchased it in Canada but I am now living in Ireland.

elitebook 850 g3 displayport
Hi all. Hoping someone can help. Just received a new Elitebook 850 G3 with Intel HD graphics 520 driver v20.19.15.4483. I am looking to attach this to my desktop monitor via the displayport. This worked fine on my old Probook but the Elitebook will not recognise the monitor. What setting am i missing to activate the DP to use my monitor.

Keyboard issues
my keyboard started to have problems when I upgraded to windows 10. I have had it fixed twice following windows updates and both times it has been an issue with the accessibility software. Following a windows update Saturday 14th January 17, 1 have lost all keyboard functions bar space key, delete key, back key and the letter I. I can't even access the settings as I can't enter my password. I can bring up the onscreen keyboard which for the first time, does not respond.

Touchpad doesn't work when using keypad help please.
Cannot use touchpad and keypad at the same time. Shift keys are the only keys I can use at the same time as touchpad.
Everytime I diable smartsense it turns itself back on when I go back into settings. This doesn't matter as it does not work anyway, it continues to disable touchpad when using keypad regardless of smartsense being on or off.
Also changed general settings so there is no delay and toucpad is always on, doesnt make a differnce either way.

Nvidia driver for Quadro K2100M crashes Office Apps
Hi,
I'm using an HB ZBook 15 G2 with an NVidia Quadro K2100M graphics chip. Since upgrading to the latest Nvidia drivers, currently running rev 376.33, I'm experiencing very frequent crashes of non-3D applications, mostly Microsoft Office products. Windows error reporting mentions nvdxgiwrapx.dll (part of the nvidia drivers) as the faulting module.
I've tried forcing using the integrated graphics chips (via 3D settings in the nvidia control panel), but the problem keeps occurring.
The problem does not occur with the the drivers provided on the HP support page (rev. 373.06), but these do not support some of the games I'd like to play on that machine as well.
Are there any hints how to resolve the matter?

Clicking desktop icons does not work on HP Stream 11
I cannot open programs by left-clicking or double-clicking icons on the Windows desktop or within folder windows in File Explorer. My current work-around is to right click and scroll to the "Open" command. I own 2 HP Stream 11's. The problem started on both computers at the same time. I have the original Windows 10.0 ( Build 10240) on one computer and Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14391.693) on the other. Was there a recent update that caused this problem?

HP Pavillion Energy Star touchscreen not working
My touch screen doesnt seem to be working whether I have it in laptop or tablet mode.
I have restarted the machine before and then the touchscreen works again but that doesnt always seem to make a difference.
Can somene please help?

the clock will not keep the right time in my g6 laptop no matter what settings I use.
The time will not auto update. I have to readjust the time every login and the computer never shuts dow, just the screen after two hours. Any ideas???

after windows starts, different pages opens and close and stops after several minutes
Just bought an HP Envy touch screen last month and after startup and the desktop appears, different pages opens and closes and stops after several minutes. Has anyone encountered the same problem? This happened right after we bought the computer. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Muy laptop won't stay connected to my tv.
I have a Samsung UN48JU6400. I can gety my laptop, an HP 15 Notebook PC with product number N5Y09UA#ABA, to screen mirror to it but it will only stay connected for 3 or 4 minutes. Are these devices not compatible?
