I have this HP ENVY Notebook-15, (model ae116tx-touch) with windows 10-64bit.
I have already updated to the latest bios also updated the latest graphic driver.
After this, on the display comes out the different color and lines . I cannot read the letters and verything.
What is the best solution..?
The bios is UEFI and I cannot anymore revert to the old bios.
Please help solve this.

I'm having the same issue, the camera is far from being HD, it's the worst quality i've ever seen, even worse than my 5 years cheap computer webcam. So, i need to know it this is the supposed quality or there is something i can do about it.
I've try to update webcam drivers, its updated supposedly, i've installed You Cam 7, changed resolution and the quality it's still very bad.
There is no updates to do on HP Suport Assistent.
I need to know if there is something i can do about it,

Purchased a HP Pavilion 15t for my son for Xmas and trying hooking up a Dell U2412M as his main gaming (2nd) display but Windows (10) does not recognize it. I set the input source on the display to both "Auto Detect" and "Display Port", but neither had any effect. No matter what I attempt, the system does not detect the Dell display.
I have a brand new HDMI to DP cable, but I have no good way to test if the cable itself is bad, but I'd like to think that is not the problem.
I have searched the internet for hours, but have not found a solution that has worked. Sound familar to anyone?
I have a Nvidia 960M and I have recently updated all the software/drivers.
Recently my laptop camera started displaying green and magenta vertical lines, and the pictures taken display them too.
I haven't done any software or driver changes.

However, none of the responses seemed to address my problem.
I want to be able to use the keyboard on my Spectre x360 when the screen is rotated all the way back 360 degrees.
Tablet mode is OFF.
I have tried tilting the laptop.
Neither method works.
If there is no other way to use the laptop's keyboard while the screen is flipped back, can someone please advise how I can disable the orientation sensor. My external monitor is basically unusable if I can't fix this issue, since I have no space on my desk for both the laptop and the monitor and need to be able to fold the screen back so I can use both at once.

On my laptop the LCD is not working. I have tried all the steps on HP Blank Screen. At one point an external monitor was working but the graphic settings were changed and it will no longer display, thats on either a VGA or HDMI connection. The F4 
key does not affect the external display coming on.
Is there any alternative options with trying to get an external display working?
Or is it posible to send it in to HP to repair?
I know its out of warranty and it is expected to have to pay if a repair is possible but i couldn't seem to find a place for repair. on HP Customer Support it only gives me options for paid phone support and these forums.
This info may be redundant but the LCD itself recieves power (shows a black screen) but it displays nothing.
I had this laptop since about 2014, and I just recently started having the issue of lines being on my scree. At most its usually one big line and then three small lines. I'm a student and it's being very difficult to write papers. I paid to much for this laptop to have this issue. I do i resolve this in time for my semester to start up?

I have a HP Probook 450 G2 with Windows 10 64bit installed and a Samsung smart tv model UA50F6400,
When I attempt to mirror the screen on the tv, the Tv appears to start loading however I receive an error "video data is not supported"
My mac has no issues and mirrors on the same Tv effectively, I have updated the firmware on the Tv and updated the relevant drivers on my laptop (Hp) but it does not work. Please could you assist?

Function keys do not work unless I press the Fn key, to adjust the volume or the brightness. I've already gone to the BIOS and the function "action key" is enabled. What shall I do to use the function keys without pressing fn???
My laptop specs are i5-6300HQ 2.3ghz, gtx 960m 4gb, and 4gb ram. For some reason, even at low settings and at 1080p, my fps hovers only around 20-30 in games like Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege. My old Asus X450LN laptop with specs of i5-4200U 1.6ghz, GT940m 2gb, and 4gb ram could run these games at above 60fps on low settings. I've done everything that I could think of like putting the power option to high performance mode, disabling the Battery Boost option in the Nvidia Geforce Experience app, updating the graphics card drivers, everything I could think of and it still didn't solve my problem. My laptop should be running these games smoothly on low settings yet it has a hard time doing so. Even my brother's computer which has lower specs compared to this laptop can run the games I mentioned at above 80fps. i don't know what else to do. I even turned off HP Coolsense as I thought it would help improve the gaming performance. Please I need help!
I bought Hp omen back in october from Germany and now jsut after 2-3 months the has started to flicker. Tried to contact the support centre here they tried to update the drivers and softwares even downgrades but no change. They orders for service centre pickup last week but no one is here to even pick up laptop. It is very disappointing that i bought because i had good experience from past laptops but really tired and disappointed by HP do not even know where to contact.

I've connected my Probook 450 G2 to an HP 2311x monitor using HDMI to HDMI ports.
I have a wireless keyboard and mouse so I'd like to operate with the notebook closed on the keyboard tray below the desktop where the monitor is.
I know this is a simple question, but when I close the laptop the monitor also goes dark. I think there's a Fn Key, or another set-up option, that allows me to either not have the laptop go to sleep when closed, or allows the monitor to stay live when the laptop is shut.
I also use the laptop away from the monitor often so I need to be able to switch to the laptop screen and to have the laptop sleep when closed, (to preserve battery).

I bought the HP Notebook a little over a week ago. The touchscreen worked fine the first day or two. Then it just stopped working. Everything else is working fine, except for the touchscreen. The Notebook uses Windows 10 (8) (21), 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U Processor (2.7 GHZ) (2) (23), 1 TB Hard Drive (3), 16384MB DDR4 SDRAM.

I recently upgraded my laptop to the EB 840 G3 with Displayport and no DVI-D.
I need to use a samsung SyncMaster 2233 as a shared screen between the elite book and my other windows 7 machine.
I have interconnected the 2 machines and the monitor via the Belkin SOHO DVI KVM which was working perfectly with my old DVI-D laptop.
Since using the EB 840 and displayport with the maplin passive displayport to DVI-D Adapter here -

The laptop does not setect the samsung display at all.
