I purchased Hp 15-ac179tx a month before. But it has some problem regarding AMD-RADEON graphic . When I install this driver , laptop display get blank or sometime it show blue screen with some code error. And when i uninstall this driver everything became normal. SO i decided not to install it but as i use internet regularly, windows get updated and AMD driver get install automatically and again this problem arise. Give some solution for it .
I have just bought an expensive HP 2 in 1 lap top (15 inch Envy x360) and having set it all up I have found that about 80% of the time the screen displays flickering white dotted lines, usually vertical about an inch apart. These are not continuous lines, but rather they are rapidly flickering very small dots - a bit like a pinstripe suit but more erratic. When I am working on a white background (e.g. while writing this post) I cannot see it, but on a dark background e.g. watching a film or when opening the start meny, it is noticeable. It is just about tolerable, but very irritating and is I think giving me a headache. I have tried projecting to my TV as an external monitor and the problem persists, so it must be a lap top hardware or a software fault. Does anyone have any tips as to whether and if so how I can put this right from home myself? Please note whilst I have been using computers for c. 25 years I am not an IT techie so plain English would be helpful in any replies! Many thanks all and Happy New Year.
HI guys, i need a solution to my laptop.
i ordered my laptop in November which makes it not up to 3months with me. The issue here is that i accidentally spilled liquid on the laptop keyboard and i immediately turned the upside down so that the liquid could come off but I noticed that it had already spread to the screen. i don't know what to do as the shift key is becoming sticky but the laptop still works fine with no issues except for the sticky keyboard and the liquid mark on the screen.
Any solution provided would be helpful

My ProBooks built-in webcam does not work nor in Skype, nor in any other application.
In Skype the waiting animation is shown forever, while camera LED-indicator is lit on.
Tried to reinstall camera drivers and it worked after once. No success any further.
While external cameras works as expected.

I cannot install graphic drivers.
in drivers package on HP custumer support..... the Graphic Driver is for Intel HD graphic.
So i'm instal them and after that i instal AMD radeon graphics drivers and when im watch any video is terrible.
So please somebody tell me what to do....
already running LG ultrawide monitor over hdmi. no vga port so using usb to vga adapter. hooked up older acer and also dell monitor but neither detects a signal and goes into standby mode. laptop doesn't see either 2nd external monitor either.
is there an additonal piece of hardware I need or a configuration that needs to be done?

I bought the laptop two days ago, and this function (screen auto rotation) worked with me on the first day, but then disappeared and wont work since i did the Updates for windows & HP .
the lock screen option in the display setting is not avalible
i tried to log into the Registry path ->
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation\Enable ( is # 1 )
& its OK,
But still i cant autorotate the screen !!
I have had my HP Notebook laptop for about 1 week. The Netflix app was already installed into this laptop. I used my Netflix app very frequently with no problems. One day I tried to open the app and it said my account was unavalible. I thought my payment was up so I tried logging into my Netflix account of the internet and it worked just fine. So I uninstalled the app and it says it is still there under my recently added and when I go into the store it says it is already installed. Well whenever I do click on it it still says the same thing of, netflix is unavalible for me. Please help!
chromebook not able to cast. Other devices like IPad IPhone OK. Windows 10 with firewall diabled OK. Chrome not able to cast. Chromecast tech support said issue with firewall on Chromebook. Need to disable firewall on Chromebook. No menu on HP Chromebook 11 to disable firewall temporarily for setup.
I installed my normal Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB SD card in a USB Sandisk Micromate SD HC reader and only had one black screen (1 second) during the coarse of a 4 hours using and access the same SD card I had so many issues with it directly inerted in the Specter X360's SD card reader. I will be working this way on Tuesday Jan 3rd and keep you posted how it goes.

I just got my HP amd while working with the touchpad I noticed the upper left part of the touchscreen is barely working.
If I want to scroll with two fingers that only starts halfway down the touchpad, Also just klicking the touchpad on the upper inch just works at times but mst of the time not.
Is this normal, if so why? I find it very inconvenient and thinkinh about returning the item.

I Just want to let you guys all know that the new x360 Envy's and Spectre's have no pen support whatsoever. Previous models had a active digitizer. The latest line does not nor does it support any fine tip pen. Deceptive advertising from HP considering they had Ads up of the laptops next to their active pen. Infact as of now the Envy and Spectre webpage still recommend this uncompatible pen. The HP support on this forum and through calling in actually have little product knowledge and just regergitate what they see searching google and on the forums.
I just received my probook 430 g4 Notebook PC (Energy star) and it supposed to have a backlit keyboard.
I've pressed F5 and that dims the screen.
I've looked up the icon for the backlit keyboard and I cannot find that icon on my keyboard. Does this mean my laptop does not have a backlit keyboard as is advertised?
