About a week ago my laptop began displaying as follows: Any suggestions as to what it may be? This computer was purchased in August of 2016.

Display Driver not installing
I have an HP dv7 4285 entertainment laptop. It said that the display driver needed to be updated. I went to hp site and downloaded graphics drivers and installed. Then a popup came up and said the drivers were not installed because it was not compatible with hardware.
I went to AMD Radeon and asked it to detect and provide drivers to download. I downloaded the drivers and installed. They installed successfully and then a popup comes up saying that the drivers were not installed due to incompatibility.
What is going on?
Device manager has a triangle with exclamation mark in it and says there is an error 43.
Please advise on what can be done. I am at wits end and I really need my laptop and can't afford to buy a new one at the moment.

Display shows flickering lines & then locks up. I need help with a solution
Hi i have a Hp pavilion g6 running windows 7, was originally running windows 8. I have been having trouble with it freezing/locking up. I have tried bios updates, driver updates, the diagnostic tool for memory check and hard drive check, i have even used used scf /scannow. everything comes up as ok or passed. so i changed to windows 7 thinking it might make a difference, but to no avail. The flickers with these lines for a few seconds and i get a screen full and it either freezes there or a couple of seconds after. Nothing happens when i am in the bios or when I am running in safe mode. please someone help me i have run out of ideas. thanks

black screen:
Black screen: External monitor was tried. Performed a Hard Reset. Replaced Motherboard, memory cards & hard drive. Leds light, numlock flashes once, fan & hard drive are running.

Videos go into slow motion
guys so it goes in slow motion RANDOMLY and it does get fixed when i restart it but eventually it goes in slow motion again in a few days... I get on skype with family often and this is pretty annoying when i'm trying to hear what people are saying since it sounds like robot talk. I thought it had to do with the DTS audio control but i guess not since i fixed it a few times changing the settings to that and now i can't. Please help!

I have HP Protect Smart Pavillion Laptop. My laptop is not able to wake up from Sleep Mode. I press mouse button & keyboard button but its not wake up. Then I have to switch off from power button & start it back then it is okk.
I performed these troubleshooting steps:-
1.Changing power settings-Ok
2.Keyboard setting from device manager-Ok
3.Windows repair-Ok
4.Memory test-Ok
5.Hard disk test-OK
6.Disk Cleanup & Disk Defragment-OK
7.Malware scan-Ok
8.Antivirus Full System Scan-Ok
9.Formatting my Notebook & Installing new OS
But problem is still same. If anyone have solution please tell me.Because I am in trouble.

Screen flickering or blinking issue
I have bought hp laptop ( HP pavilion 15 au116tx) two months back.Since then i didn't use this laptop properly . First it had RAM issue. Now when it has ben solved there is this new problem that is SCREEN FLICKERING OR BLINKING PROBLEM. Please provide help.I think choosing hp wasn't a good choice.

Not working keyboard keys on brand new notebook
This week I got my brand new notebook. Only after a couple days later I checked if everything is working normally. I noticed that some the of the F keys do not work as expected. For example I try to lower and increase the brightness of the screen by using F2 and F3 and nothing changes on the screen brightness. I also tried to make some key combinations on Mozilla Firefox to check if it was a software error that hindered the keys to change the brightness. But also the key combinations when include F2 or F3 on Mozilla do not produce a change. Moreover, I think I face the same problem when using F4 (not in the same point, i.e. alt + F4 do shut up open windows, but F4 by itself do not change the screen appearance as it should) and F9 and F11.
Would you advise that I should reinstall the keyboard driver? Would maybe an older version of the driver be more compatible with my notebook and solve the problem? Or would you rather advise me to contact the technical support of the store I bought it?
Once again, the faulty keys: F2, F3, F4, F9, F11

HP Envy 15 screen flickering/flashing black
I've had this Envy 15 for the last four or five years, and recently it's started playing up. The screen keeps flickering; not a constant thing, but every few minutes it flickers black a few times. Sometimes it clears up, sometimes it goes completely black for upwards of ten seconds before recovering. The rest of the computer isn't affected; audio still runs without a hitch. When it goes black, I can see a flickering vertical line of red pixels near the right edge of the screen. It seems to happen more often when running games, or when there are several windows open. My display drivers are all up to date.
