I just got my the Active stylus and i know that the Pavillion x360 13 is compatible, but why is the stylus doing nothing it hasn't connected, and i need help in getting it to work ? their wasn't enough information on how it works and how to edit its settings. please help.

Screen Error
Hi iam using hp G7000 ,it was alright but when i restarted my pc the screen lighted up but was blank ???iam suffering the same problem.....when i connected it to the external display it perormed absolutely alright but blank on its own screen!!!
in the screen resolution area the laptop is not detecting its own screen
but when i just on and off laptop for several times it detects the screen and it gives me the display

Touchscreen stopped working after a few months. HID-Compliant touchscreen driver is gone!
I checked in the device manager for hidden devices under Human Interface devices,scanned for hardware changes, searched for the HID-Compliant touch screen driver. It worked for about 3-4 months. How can I get it and reinstall it?

When will the screen / glass issue be fixed for Envy & Spectre 2-in1 laptops?
This is a question directly to HP. When do you plan on fixing the weak screen glass that comes in your Envy and Spectre convertible laptops? I was about to buy one for Christmas until I read all the posts here about them cracking due to a bad design. Until it's fixed, you've lost a customer.

Hi- my print screen button in uppper right corner used to work. I would simple hit the button and a screen shot would be saved to one drive- pictures- screen shots. That doesn't happen anymore. How do I get my prt sc button back working?

HP Spectre x360 problems with HP Envy 32 display when SD card inserted
Today is a new day, I finally figured out a very odd situation. I have Purchased last year a Nice HP Sceptre 360, 8GB, with 120SSD Drive, partnered with a new HP Envy 32 2K Video Monitor (connected by a HDMI cable).
Several months ago the display would have horizontal lines, shrink and go blank (audio also cut out at same time). After some time on the phone with HP Warranty support it was determined to be the HP Monitor, I received a 90 day repaired unit and sent my original in. So far so good one would think, well 9 days after the 90 day warranty expired, (BAM) same exact problem.
Well now that the Warranty is over I did some of my own troubleshooting. I recall issues of another computer I repaired having USB and SD card problems, seemed that one had power issue on the USB / SD card power supply, so brain storming I thought I would remove my permanently installed SanDisK 64GB Extreme Pro SD Card (thinking that the Scepter may have common power to support the HDMI port, & SD Card).
Long story short, I removed the SD card (no more problems with the display). I did a trial of several other cards including 32GB, 128GB etc, all cause the same issue when the SD card was installed and the SD card files were accessed.
Has anyone else found this to be a problem? I am going to try another way to use my SD card I’ll get a SD Card to USB reader and try that avenue. I’ll let you know how that works out.
For history sake, I have had my own electronic repair shop (back in 1985, we did work on Heath Kit Equipment repairs (for Heath Kit Canada), also supported NAIT (northern Alberta Institute of Technology) for their robotics program (worked on all their Heath Kit HERO one robotics repairs) along with Heath Zenith computers and other kit repairs. Unfortunately, I sold all my equipment which included scopes, frequency counters etc. other than my Beckman 320 digital multimeter (one hardworking and forever lasting piece of equipment).

Webcam not working from hibernate
I have noticed a problem with my laptop's webcam, which stops working when starting from hibernate. But if I put it into sleep (suspend), it will be back to normal when awaking. Can this be fixed?

it is non existent now! how do i get it back?
ive even gone to device manager - and the HID touchscreen is not there (even if i do show hidden ) - it does, but it doesnt work still if i "uninstall" this!
ive factory reset the laptop - and still not luck! please advise!

HP Spectrex360 touchscreen stops working after startup
Hello,
I received a brand new HP Spectrex360 and it worked completely fine but one day the touchscreen stopped working. I found that the touchscreen function works completely fine every time I turn on/restart the laptop, but only for the first couple minutes, then strangely the screen stops receiving or detecting any touch.
I thought it could possibly just be a setting that makes the touchscreen function turn off after a short amount of time of not being used. I've searched the settings but nothing seems to be off.

when i click on keypad it wont stay open long enough to copy or paste, etc.
i click on the keypad. when a scroll down shows up, i cant click on anything because it closes the scroll before i can do it.
like if i want to copy and paste it wont let me scroll down to the copy or the paste. it just closes the scroll down so i cant do anything. sometimes i cant even type because he keypad mouse is blinking where it didnt used to do that.

Not able to detect second screen on my laptop hp 240 g1
The second monitor shows the same screen as on my laptop not abel to work in extend mode and in displaly setting it shows only one screen and not abel to detect second screen. I am using window 7 and also window+p setting not working.

HP Spectre x360 Convertible Touch Screen Ghost tapping
Since purchasing my HP Spectre prior to Christmas I have experienced ghost tapping with the touch screen. Either as randomly timed taps in the same location or continuous taps in the same location. Resetting the device stops it from happening but within around 30 minutes to an hour of use the tapping returns and will be in a different location from the previous session.
Having this issue from day one is very dissapointing and I wasn't expecting to have such an issue believing HP to provide quality products. Since searching for the issue I can see that others also experience the fault. Seems odd that a premium product can have so many units with faults and a fault that was known about in previous products. I'm not confident that a repair will give me much assurance that the issue won't return so may seek a refund from where I purchased it. A little saddened by that as I was looking forward to owning the new Spectre 360.
I haven't experienced HP support before, do others have experience and have others had a good experience with the new Spectre 360? I like the device so would prefer to get it fixed, but I start Uni next week and will struggle to be without a laptop.
