I purchased this laptop and it came with windows 10. I have been using 7 pro on my other computers so I had 10 removed and 7 pro installed. Now I can't get the touchpad disabled on this laptop so anytime I type something the words will jump around. I have another laptop that has a button to turn off/on the touchpad but this new model does not. Is there a driver that I can download compatible with 7 pro to be able to disable the touchpad. I purchased this for my wife for Christmas and this sitation is driving my wife nuts. Please help!!!! thanks

Screen turning sideways
This has been bugging me lately. Everytime I click my mousepad, it somehow turns sideways. I know how to turn it back, but everytime I click, it keeps turning sideways. My laptop is touchscreen by the way.

I replaced my old battery in my Pavilion g4. Now my battery icon is missing. What do I do?
The last few days I've been getting a message on start up on my laptop that my internal battery was weak. The diagnostics I ran confirmed this. I saw the HP replacement battery wasn't reviewed very well on the HP web site so I purchased a Duracell replacement battery. It appears to be working well, except now I no longer have a battery icon in my lower tray so I have no idea what my battery level is. When it gets low, it gives me no warning and just shuts the laptop down. It also doesn't indicate when I am using my power cord. Is there anything I can do to change this?

my radeon graphic card is not working
when i am trying to setup the driver . it gives me a black screen and then nothing happen again . on restarting windows it gives me welcome page only .

the probleme started after one year from buying it .
some friends say it is from bios ?!
my cousin also has hp i5 probook and the same probleme only one video card is working .
the driver on hp page is set up both cards intel and the ati .and is not working . so i had to set up only intel card .

Laptop and Pen compatabity
I've bought a bundle from PC World, HP Pavilion x360 15-bk060sa 15.6" 2 in 1 - Red + HP Pro Tablet 408 Active Stylus - Black. I've been provided with and Active Pen. PC World have told me there is no difference between the Pen and the Stylus, but the Pen won't register with the laptop. PC World have told me it requires an update from HP which will be delivered by microsoft updates. Is this correct if it is why would a bundle be sold before the devices are compatable?

keyboard locks after logging in with password
Every time I log into my computer they keyboard works to type in the Password but the second I get past the log in the keyboard just becomes locked and useless until I log back in and the only thing I can do is use the mouse. It makes a clicking noise like I'm using the keys but it won't work. I even tried plugging in an external keyboard and it still won't let it work. hp envy touchsmart sleekbook 4111_5dx

After clean Windows 10 installation can't use function shortcuts
Hi, I just changed the stock HDD of my Pavilion 13-u105nl with an SSD and installed Windows 10 on it. Everything seems to work fine but I can't get the function shortcuts to work (Volume, brightness, etc.). Any suggestion?

Active stylus bundle
I have recieved a bundle (purchased at pc world) containing the HP Pavillion x360 and the HP Pro tablet 408 Active Pen. After opening these and attempting to use them together I have been unable to pair the two. After looking online it seems this pen is not compatible with this laptop, is this correct? Looking at other HP products I have found an active pen with App Launch which also does not appear to be compatible and the HP active stylus which does appear to be compatible nut i cannot find available in the UK.
Any help would be much appreciated, wether it be how to pair my pen and laptop or where to find a compatible stylus/pen.

No File Is playing after the reintallation of the OS in Laptop
4 days ago my laptop infected by a virus known as CRYPTOTEK. so i contact technical support. they told me that i have to uninstall my OS and reinstall OS from the dealer because at service centre employee solve the hardware problem. so i contact the dealer and he told me to come tomorrow. so i went there and told the dealer the problem and the dealer help me but he didn't install the drivers. so yesterday i install all the drivers from the hp websitewith help of product detail. but after doing all that no file is played which is stored in my backup LOCAL DISK D and E.

Laptop touch screen is not working
My laptop touch screen is not working. There is no any physical damage / hit on it but I don't know what causes this issue.

Brightness on HP Pacillion X2
Basically the screen is very dark. The brightness won't change. I am pressing the brightness buttons and the screen won't change. The only way I can see the screen is if I use my iPhone torch and even then the cern is still extremely dark and unusable. I somehow managed to locate the settings button and type in display and the brightness seems to be at a hundred percent but believe me it is so dark it can't be used. Why is this happening?!
