So basically one day i was just using the touchpad when i learned you can just tap instead of click and so i did, but my touchpad would become very how do i say, loose like if i put a finger on it and without actually pressing but just pushing down and then lifting back up it will have this little weird noise, and a loose feel to it. Anyone who knows what i should do like bring it in for a repair, but i have litereally had this for 1 month soooooo yeah.

spectre x360 touchpad does not work
Purchased this laptop this summer. Upgraded RAM, solid state HD, etc. Most expensive laptop i've yet purchased.
And the touchpad will not work. Well, sometimes, for a day or so, it will be OK. But the factory-installed driver never did work--cursor jumped around all on its own. impossible to use. Missed clicks about 20-30% of the time.
Uninstalled driver. Have tried uninstalling and re-installing drivers every other day or so since i purchased this. Yes, it is THAT BAD.
Went from factory-installed to Synaptics driver to PS-2. Finally disabled windows 10 auto downloads (well, apparently that can't really be done bec MS controls my computer, not me--but i did change it to a metered connection, because every Windows download created new driver issues).
From what i've read, it's clear that touchpad and audio drivers for my model laptop with Windows 10 are a systemic problem that neither HP nor MS nor Synaptics has any interest in addressing.
Never buying an HP product again. Just went through the uninstall-re-install gig again tonight--now using the Synaptics generic driver--and still the cursor jumps around. will stay in one place for several seconds, but then it's gone.
Laptop is basically unusable. Never, ever, in owning 7 different laptops over the last 30 years, have i ever had this problem before. Well, once before, but downloading a generic driver solved the issue immediately.
HP--WHEN if ever are you going to fix this? No more HP products for me. ZERO customer help. and DON'T tell me to try another driver--unless you've created a new one in the last 48 hrs, i just installed your version earlier this week and IT DOESN'T WORK.

Multiple Screens 430 G2
Hello community
My question: Is it possible to connect 2 screens to my laptop (Probook 430 G2)? Since my notebook has 1 HDMI and 1 VGA, yesterday i tried to connect 2 screens. The one connected with the HDMI works fine, but the one connected with VGA (via HDMI to VGA adapter), doesn't receive any signal. Even if i unplugg the HDMI cable of the other screen, the screen seems to have problems receiving signals.
Is it generally possible for my notebook to connect to 2 screens? If yes, are there any configurations or sepcial settings i have to make?

Dispaly Problem
I have display issue.There are vertical lines on screen and they keep on moving .I can see desktop (hazy) in the background ,but overall picture is not clear . i can post video of what is happening . Please advise any HP service centre in Karachi-Pakistan

Laptop screen is dead but image displays on external screen
My laptop screen has suddenly stopped working. Images display with no problem on external screen. I have tried all the suggestions from HP such as hard restart, resetting the BIOS etc but still does not work. I recently took the laptop apart to clean out the fan and it has worked fine since then, but the other night the screen was working. It shut down when the battery drained. On restart using mains adaptor the following morning, the screen was completely dead. I noticed that if you press on the plug on the screen connector cable where it connects to the motherboard, the screen flashes bright white and the whole laptop powers off suddenly. It will then only power up again if you first remove the battery then replace it. Any ideas why the screen has stopped working?

Laptop Issue
I have an HP Envy that will operate with the lid closed only. I am able to turn on the laptop and close the lid while connected to an external monitor. If I start the laptop with the lid open, it will start to run and display for about 3 to 5 seconds; then it shuts off. It will NOT shut off if the lid is closed.
I'm assuming this is a hardware issue but wanted to check and see if there are any easy solutions to this issue.

Message I am getting from the Intel Driver Update Utility is as follows:

I go to the HP site here, and there is an Intel driver, but how do I know this isnt a generic driver that "...may cause technical issues"?

HP Laptop, Windows 10, Flickering Screen.
My laptop is an HP Notebook 15.6" HD display. It was bought with Windows 10 on it. The processor is Core™ i3 Dual Core. I've been having a lot of annoyances with the screen flickering, everything still works after it, it's just the screen. When I hook it up to an external moniter(for graphic design purposes), I experience no flickering at all. I'm doing some updates right now(KB3209498, KB3206632), but I don't think that's really relevent. The flickering has been happening the entire time i've owned it, which is just over a month. Is there any way to fix this? It's driving me crazy!

How to fix my brandnew laptop display which is too bright and too dim?

I bought a new HP Notebook last week. I am working as a graphic designer so while using photoshop, colors are really crucial thing in my work. Black appears gray and blue appears light blue in its default backlight. I am not comfortable with the laptop screen while working. Its not good in the eyes. I tried adjusting the brightness but I think this is something to do with its contrast. Please advise.

New Pavilion 17-ab0004na.... first impressions and left disappointed.
Hi all,
Today I received my new Pavilion 17-ab0004na notebook.
On unpacking it I was slightly disturbed to find visible finger prints on the lid and underneath even though it seems to be factory sealed and packed correctly.
Impressive performance but immediately I noticed a very "hollow" sound if the touchpad is lightly tapped with a finger
and the whole assembly seems to move as if it were loose??
Am I being too fussy or is this a fault? I would expect a better quality/feel for what I consider to be a high end product
costing £1000!

How do I remove "welcome to your new HP laptop, you're all set" screen
The screen that keeps on coming up at startup and at every time I close all other screens is "welcome to your new laptop, you're all set" screen. I can't seem to remove it from popping up and blocking my screensaver. How can I remove this screen completely.

Hello, i just reinstalled the windows 7 home premium on a friends laptop and i have a problem with the laptop, im downloading the drivers from the internet here and when im trying to install the amd drivers for the laptop it doesnt allow me to install, its just appearing the interface from amd catalyst and after a few click to chosee express instalation its just appearing a question mark in the driver which is saying the driver could not be installed. and i dont know why. Is it because HP COMPAQ 610 comes in 2 type notebook, with amd video card and without amd video card? and i have the laptop without amd video card?
