Hi there, i recently bought a laptop HP Pavilion TouchSmart 17 f023cl  and notice that it has HD+capacitive touchscreen integrated, have try it  all to get the touch screen to work but i doesnt show up,

 

drivers are up to date on device manager, there where no disable programs and no touchscreen option on human interface device nor usb disabled

 

on my System it says No pen or touch input is avaible for this display

 

have downloaded HP support assistant but all is up to date and nothing to download

 

have entered Safe mode with network and same problem with no response

 

already ReInstalled windows 10 and still cant use it

 

so.. anyone know what kind of problem is this? do my laptop display doesnt came with the touchscreen feature that have to came with?

 

My laptop have Windows 10 Home edition 64-Bit.

Hi,

 

I followed steps on http://www.support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05189396 to Miracast my laptop screen to Samsung smart TV. My laptop shows it's connected to the TV. However, TV keeps connecting and after a while errors out. I have installed all windows update and the latest AMD graphics driver, but still doesn't work.

 

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I was curious if I installed the latest Intel HD 520 Beta 20.19.15.4539 driver for my HP Pavilion 15-au030wm notebook since it helped stop the flickering screen.

There are two places on the touchscreen where it acts as if a finger is pressing on it. Very often the cursor gets stuck & it will not release. Sometimes you can use your finger to pull the cursor away. But, many times it will go right back, after a few minutes.

I have a hp pavilion touchsmart 15-n029so. Unfortunately my touch screen is defect, so 5-6 points on the screen is constant active. Until recently I managed to disable the driver for only the touch driver (not the screen) through device manager, but then a lately update for windows 10 activated the driver again. So now the 5-6 points is constant active, and I cannot login because the screen will not focus on the login field. 

 

This means I cannot login to windows 10. I have also tried to start safe mode (turning off computer repeatly, so it starts up in safe mode), but here the touch screen driver is also active. 

 

How can I disable the touch screen driver without login into windows 10?

Hello, i have a problem with my hp zbook 15u g3.

When i am using the touchpad and press any key on the keyboard it will interrupt the touch on the touchpad. So i looked around the internet and i am now pretty sure it's something called "Palm check" in synaptics. So i opened Mouse settings and found 2 tabs for synaptics. Under the TouchPad tab there is only one button though.

So i click the button and get into that stupid Windows 10 Settings app **bleep** where i found a setting for accidental click while typing. So i set it to "Always on", but that ofcourse did nothing.

So i continue to look around and then i find something that says "More alternatives", so i click it.

And guess where that takes me.. Back to picture one!

 

Everywhere i look on the internet for solutions i only find people saying that you should open the settings menu. But nowhere do i find anything about not even having that menu!

 

So yeah im pretty tired of this crap now, i've spent hours upon hours trying to find some kind of settings menu (I even looked in the registry!) and trying different versions of the driver and all that stuff. Help please?

 

It says the driver version is 19.0.19.18. I downloaded it from the hp support page for this computer.

There are no other problems with any input device, i can use the wierd knob in the middle of the keyboard fine too.

What do i do?

Radeon R5 M430 doesn't work in my new laptop. I can not find Win7 x64 driver for Radeon R5 M430 in Driver Download section on HP site - there is for Intel HD Grafics only.  So I loaded Crimson driver from AMD site and installed it without any effect. I tried some Crimson versions without success. Also I found on the board the recommendation to install sp75848.exe. I did that, but the same story - no Radeon R5 in the system.

I see a lot of users on this board with similiar troubles with discrete Radeon grafics cards on their laptops without solving. Dear HP, would you be so kind to respect your customers and provide us with a solution for this problems.

I have HP Pavilion 15- au116tx laptop  capable of running most games on medium settings at decent frame rates. However, if the power cable gets unplugged while I'm playing, the game immediately starts slowing down, even if I'm using the High Performance power plan.

Why does this happen? Is the battery not able to keep up with the power demands of the GPU? Is there any way to fix this?

I hadn't used my laptop all weekend and then one day I open it up and the screen is cracked. I hadn't used it at and there was no damage on the outside or anything. There must be some kind of flaw with the screens.

A couple of days ago my laptop stopped working.  It will boot up into SAFE mode but not in NORMAL mode.

 

When trying to boot into NORMAL mode it gets a BSOD and an error for the file 'atikmpag.sys', does a system dump and then just repeats.

 

I can press F8 to get to the menu and start it in SAFE mode.

 

I have tried installing the latest drives for the Radeon HD 6350 video but that does not fix the problem.

 

I have saved all my data and tried the HP recovery option to reinstall Windows thinking that the original drivers would fix the problem but it is still not fixed.

 

Am I looking a a bad video chip and need a new system board?

not sure what i did, but the finger pad no longer controls the mouse/arrow, can only control with the small button in the middle of the keyboard

Hi, I've recently purchased a HP USB 2.0 Docking station for my laptop (which runs Windows 10). I've installed the latest drivers and have the docking station up and running, but I can't get the docking station to connect to my external monitor. Is this a known issue and are there any solutions?

so in the area of left and right click

curser can NOT move ( as for example Acer has)

Hello,

 

The screen of my notebook is broken. So I can't us it anymore. I bougth the notebook one year ago when I was studying in America, but now I'm back in Belgium. There is no garanty more to replace the screen and the cost is to much to fix it. 

So we thought to use an external computerscreen, but now when we turn the notebook over to cover the screen (is a notebook you can use as tablet), we get the anouncement 'auto rotation on' an so the notebook goes in tabletmodus and we can't use the keyboard anymore...

It's no option to let the screen from the notebook up on 100° because it is in front op the computerscreen and I don't have a large desktop on my studentroom. 

Can somebody help us to get of of the tablet modus and auto rotation? I  tried already something in the settings, but that doesn't help...
