Problem with blurry text/websites/certain programms using windows 10.

 

Hi

 

I have noticed since updating to windows 10 that my laptop has just lost all of its sharpness, really hard to read for longer periods of time now.

 

Its noticable on the desktop, websites, steam, and on football manager as this is quite a text driven game.

 

I have used the HP website to try and update drivers but the latest one available it says I already have a newer driver?

 

Would anyone be able to help??  Or point me to the very latest drvier compatible to my machine?

 

I have googled the issue and tried the ticking/untciking DPI in the programms properties but to no avail.

 

Any help, much appreciated.

i have HP pavilion x360 convertible 13-u002ne and just bought it from less than one month ago. while processing some updates , 2 weeks ago i found a red line in the middle of the screen. i restarted the pc and still there, i accessed f10 and the line still appear. shut down the laptop for a couple of hours and opened it again and the red line disappears.

again today afetr processing some updates, the red line appeared and it doesn;t want to go away.

please help

I need a display driver that is compatible with windows 10 for the HP Envy DV6 7323cl.  The current driver, the AMD Radeon 7640G is giving me error code 43 -- it's stopped working and now I can't connect the computer to a second screen (ie the TV), as it cannot be detected.  I have tried downloading all sorts of drivers, but none has worked.  Is there a compatible driver or will HP not release one?  If no compatible driver is available, I will need to revert to Windows 7, which I had before Microsoft offered the free upgrade.  Please help!

Hi my laptop froze on me this morning. It wouldn't shut off So I ended up taking the battery out. After I put it back and I turned the computer on (btw my hp touch screen is broken so I use the HDMI on my tv) the touch screen is lit up but I can't see anything of course cause the screen is broken. But the screen on my tv is not doing anything except for showing hdmi 2. Like the hdmi cord is not even connected. I've tried hard reset but nothing seems to work. Please help me I'm in dire need!!

Hi

 

I am wondering if my system allows multiple displays and if I am able to change alter something to get it to display.

 

I have a HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC with the operating system of Microsoft Windows 10 (64- Bit)

 

The graphics properties are:

Display Adapter(s): Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 

 

The laptop has the screen and I am trying to connect a second display monitor with DVI to HDMI converter cable as there is no DVI input on the notebook.

 

In both the Intel settings and Control Panel setting it does not detect that there is a second display present and I am un-able to change any of these settings.

 

I believe that I have the most up to date driver installs.

 

Any assistance is appreciated.

Noticing the Steam VR test keeps using the Intel graphic chipset. Rather than the Geforce 945a video card on the Sprout Pro. Despite switching graphics preference.  Is there going to be a patch of driver addition to fix this issue in the future.  Was informed by the sales person that these were tested and approved for Vr integration. I primarily use it for my Cad/Cam 3D printing, CNC, and Laser programs.

its the same scrolling problem, my screen scrolls down automatically and does not stop till the page reaches the bottom. It also renders my mousepad ineffective, the cursor refuses to move and this happens without warning....i dont know what the problem is and why its happening all of a sudden..please help

After installing latest Windows 10 update, I can no longer use my HP 2311x 23-inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor as a duplicate monitor (even though I have selected duplicate display in settings.)  I can see there are known issues with Windows 10 and drivers for various devices.  I do not see a Windows 10 driver for my HP monitor on the HP support website. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone,

 

I Have a HP ENVY 15t-j000 with an Nvidia GT740M,  but I could never make this graphic card to work.

 

All the times that I tried to install the drivers I receive a sucessful message and seems to be installed and running, but after some time I started to receive some BSOD from nvidia drivers. I have tried some new drivers, some old, but always with the same error.

 

I was thinking to install the same driver version that came with the recovery partition, but I dont have the recovery partition anymore.

 

Does anyone konw wich is the factory nvidia driver version?

Its possible to download the recovery partition again?

Does anyone know what can I do and how to proceed ?

 

ps: I don't have the recovery partition anymore.

when i use the onscreen keyboard there will be random foréign letters appear

 

this message only has the one in 'foreign' above but often tĥére can be more. ah, it has häppened ägain

My computer's touch screen isn't working and it's like it no longer recognises it has a touch screen. It stopped working after I switched out of tablet mode. These are the things I have tried:

 

* Restarting

* resetting to a previous point

* windows update

* uninstalling the HID-Compliant Touch Screen driver and restarting to re-install it - the problem was that this driver was 'hidden' and was saying error 45 - the hardware is not connected to the computer. It didn't reinstall properly

* A hard reset, reinstalling windows 10 - now the HID-Compliant Touch Screen driver isn't there at all, not even hidden

* A UEFI diagnostics test - there was no option to click on 'touch screen' as a component, as the the computer doesn't think it has a touch screen

 

When I search for calibrate touch screen, or tablet PC mode, neither of these options are there anymore (they were just a couple of days ago). I'm not sure what has happened but I don't seem to have any of the right drivers or software for the touchscreen and the computer just doesn't seem to recognise it has a touch screen. When I flip the screen around now the keys also don't lock, as though it doesn't recognise it's in tablet mode.

Hi there

 

I have bought HP ENVY 17-j005tx Notebook PC (Model E3B36PA) couple of years ago.  I have started noticing transperent  white patches or lighter coloured batches based on the background colour (not on black background) on the screen.  I assume that screen on the laptop is degrading and at some stage I might need to replace the screen.  I am wondering whether I could replace this screen with an LCD screen or an LED screen.

 

If so where can I get the appropriate display panel for replacement and any advice on how can I replace the display or anyone certified to this in Melbourne, Australia

i have just bought my laptop and i was told not to install vlc player in it, so I installed the real player to watch movies that i have in my storage. My problem is that no matter how many video players i have tried the video does not play properly. the resolution is always disturbed, the voice is low, pixels keep bursting and its with windows media player too.

Hi,

It appears I somehow deactivated my touchpad or something along those lines as my mouse pointer/cursor has completely disappeared? It was working fine yesterday, and I think the only thing that might have triggered this is that I accidentally pressed some keys (unsure of which ones, so I don't even know how to reverse it). I've tried restarting, as well as looked through some of the mouse/touchpad settings to no avail. If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it (I'm currently relying on my fingers and the touchscreen which isn't as convenient)

I have an HP ProBook 650 G1 in an Advanced Docking station (A7E38AA) - and I am trying to connect 2 new HP Pavillion 27xw monotors to the Displayorts using and HDMI cable to siplayport adapters.   The Dock seems to not recognize anything as being connected to the display ports (no signal detected).  I did manage toconnect one of the monitors via the VGA cable port on the dock - but really want to get this working in a dual monitor configuration.   Laptop is running Win 10.  Any idea - i searched forums bu can't seem to find any discussions on this topic specifically.

I inserted a DVD movie into the drive but nothing happened. I looked in file explorer and could see it there. but I do not know how to play it on my laptop.

 

I run the latest Windows 10 (anniversary version)

 

I had a quick look in youtube and they suggested loading VLD media player (free).

 

I was about to download this when my Macafee security software gave me a warning that it was not safe. so I aborted the download.

 

Any ideas how I can watch a movie?

Hello,

 

I received a Zbook Studio G3 from my company recently and I'm trying to get used to the touchpad. I had always been using the nipple before.

 

I have two issues.

 

1- I cannot find a menu option to disable "tap to click". I'm not a big fan of it.

 

2- I use the bottom part of the touchpad only for clicking. Is it possible to make this part ineffective to mouse cursor movement? Very often, I accidentally drag while clicking.
