How can I update HP Pavilion g6-1007sa video card drivers (ATI Radeon Mobility HD4250) without losing catalyst control center options ?
I've updated earlier it , and only one option showed up in control center (CPU Control), so after that i downgraded to original version..
Is there any way I can update it ?

After i install Win8 Pro and all of driver on HP support (BIOS updated ) , i cant change my Screen Brightness . I use by Fn+F3(F2) and use Power Option but it's useless :smileysad:
I have a HP ProBook 6540b, Windows 7 64-bit, HP Probook 6540b and Monitor is not working, but does work when hooked to an external monitor. It has worked off and on over the last several month, but when it goes out it gets a flow of blue dots moving down the screen, similar to something you would see in the Matrix, for a couple seconds and then goes black.
Seemed like it worked again after the battery drained one weekend but when it stopped working again, I removed the battery and pushed the power button for 30 seconds, but still did not work.
Any suggestions?

I have hp pavilion dv6-1205ee notebook, when I power it on, nothing displayed on screen (back screen). I connect an external monitor to VGA output, it is showing the desktop and all other icons. I think that the problem with the screen itself so I change the screen with more than one but the problem is not solved. How to solve this problem? please help me.

I own a HP dm4 3000 entertainment notebook. I want to use the notebook screen extended with 2 other monitors that I have. I tried to plug the monitors on it simultaneously (one on the vga port and the other on the HDMI), but only one is recognized by windows. Do I have to configure something on Catalyst or it is really impossible to do this?
I recently purchased ProBook 4740s with SUSE. Colors on the display are tinted blue. As I understand, it should be possible to adjust colors through AMD Catalyst Control Center, but I'm unable to find the settings.
Am I missing something?
Is there any other way of color adjustment?
Ok so... I'm having quite a problem and I already recovered the laptop to the original factory state, however the problem of freezing while playing games still persists, thought it was the drivers, but everything is up-to-date. A while ago I had no problems with freezing or game crashing, it just started some time ago, like 1 month ago or so. The laptop model is HP Pavillion G6 2011sp, it is not that bad for gaming such I have seen, compared to the other computers I've seen when I bought this one, that was the best one. Although I do not use this only for Gaming but also for working, video editing, picture, etc.
I posted here on HP forums with the intention of having that issue solved as soon as possible.

The fan on my laptop (HP Envy M6-1148ca) is almost always running, and when I use programs (such as GPU-Z) to calculate the temperature of my GPU (Radeon 7640g) it reads 95 degrees Celcius or higher. It says that even though I am only using Microsoft Office or even when the computer is just idle. I am not doing anything like playing demanding games, so why is it so hot? I am worried this could hurt the pc in the long run.
PS: HP coolsense is running, and I have cleaned out the laptop fans, so it is free from dust.

I have recently installed Windws 7 ultimate 64bit on my laptop (HP pavillion g6 1040se)
After I installed this, all the drivers have gone, which I knew would happe, I downloaded Hp support assistant, Downloaded all the drivers, including my graphics card driver (ATI RADEON HD 6470M), This driver worked for only 1 day, the next day I checked it switched to my 2nd Graphic card (INTEL HD) I downloaded CPU Z and checked under the graphics tab, it was written | Intel HD | but no sign of my ATI radeon, I tried google searching for the driver, tried AMD site tried HP site as well, but nothing. What can I do?

So I just recently got this screen crashing problem on my Laptop, it wasn't as bad for a while, but now it crashes randomly. so I decided to hook it up to my TV as an alternative...But I still get that screen crashing and I'm not even using the screen!!....any ideas on how to get my laptop to stop trolling me that way??
We have multiple users that have just started reporting when they use a projector connected to the external VGA adapter, the lcd screen blanks out for a second and resets, the projector looses video, and then the lcd reverts back to the lower resolution and the projector gets video back.

I have looked nearly every post and website but couldn't find any solution. I used recovery (with hp bios thing) after my drivers installed I couldn't use my Ati Driver. I tried to install manually(full clear even i installed windows from cd) but whenever i install Ati driver, my screen goes black (like it says in setup) but never come back. After i restart my computer, i hear the windows sound but just black screen. Nothing came up.. I would like to hear suggestions and solutions..

I have Hp Pavilion dv6-6188 laptop which comes with radeon dual graphics and includes 6620g and 6750m where 6620g is the primary driver I believe. The problem which I am facing is low fps in those games which should run in high quality with no problem. AMD offers latest drivers for these cards but those are not compatible with this notebook and that apparently seems to be the problem. The details of drivers are as follows:

Is hp gonna release an update or what's the way I can get this issue resolved?
My Webcam has quit working. I have tried everything. I don't have Imaging devices in my device manager and the webcam is and HP True vision HD. Need fixed ASAP Husband is deployed and would love to talk/see him.
I am having a problem with my Cyberlink YouCam software updating. It will download and nearly complete the install but fails to complete the install.
The webcam currently operates fine with current version. But can't update software.

As the subject says, my ultrabook is brand new. It is the 1215-dx model with i5 processor and intel hd 4000 graphics.
The problem I am having is with ALL video and audio. Intermittently, any media I happen to be playing stutters. Sometimes it won't happen for hours after turning the computer on, other times it is right away. Overall computer function is very quick, however.
If I am listening to just itunes or something similar, the song will skip and stutter very quickly for about a second then go back to playing. Sometimes it is so often that I cannot enjoy my music at all.
Perhaps the most annoying though, is while watching video. At the same time that the audio skips, so does the video. This is happening both on and offline, so I am convinced it is not a network issue.
Any help at all would be very much appreciated! This is very frustrating!
