For two weeks now I have been having issues with the touch screen on my HP Pavilion All-In-One touch screen computer. Why is my screen flashing white bubbles, white streaks and moving icons all around, shrinking/expanding my icons and work space and jumping from one screen to another? It makes my system inoperable having to cold-boot it and restart, only to have it start bubbling again and wreaking havoc. I have this Technical Support subscription thing I purchased from Office Max for a year. They checked the system when I called and could not tell what it is. I hear about this HP Support Team. Can someone help please. Thanks.

HP Envy 14-1260se lcd video cable
When I open and close the laptop the screen will flicker often. It finally has gotten to the point where the screen only shows with corlorful lines and I lcannot see the screen at all.
Sometimes when I play around with moving the screen up and down by closing it I can get the screen to display.
I replaced the screen itself and it was working fine for about an hour or so until I decided to the close the laptop up and then the flickering began again.
I searched a few boards and realized this particular model could have issues with the monitor cable and not the actual lcd monitor itself.
I am looking for a model# to purchase the lcd cable to replace. Can anyone assist me with this?

HP Envy Touch Screen Not working
I dont recall when the issue has occured, but it has been a while since my touch screen has worked. It weird because under pen and touch it states that there is no inout for pen or touch when clearly my computer's touch screen once worked.
What should I do to bring the once beloved feature back?

Mouse Pointer Jumps - Disabling Touchpad doesn't help, only goes away in Safe Mode
For the last month or so my mouse pointer erratically jumps to a specific area of the screen and then continues to jump around in a vertical line in that area (upper half, slightly to the left). Hugely annoying. But happens erratically, one day it may not happen at all or happen rarely, other days it is constantly an issue.
Originally assumed it was a problem with the touchscreen, but disabling the touchscreen didn't help. Disabling the touchpad also didn't help, but this is a little weird since even if I uninstall the touchpad driver it somehow comes back by itself. No problem in safe mode. If I try installing another driver in Safe Mode it seems to keep it, but when I reboot to normal mode the problem is back
Clearly seems to be a software issue since everything is fine in Safe Mode, but not sure where I'm getting the problem. Have tried several other touchpad drivers without improvement
Huge pain! Any suggestions? The laptop is only 4 months old, doesn't run any weird software, mainly just chrome and ms office

Brief ripple effect on screen - hazy
Hi,
Initially noticed that when returning to the desktop from my browser there is a very brief ripple effect on the screen. It looks like interference more than anything else as its not the actual desktop rippling, its more over the top of the image; hazy lines. I switched off wireless mouse in case that was it. Havent tried wifi yet - Im hoping its not something serious involving the graphics card.
More noticeable on lighter background colours even when jumping to a new tab, moving between applications.
Wonder if theres an issue with the screen or simply a display setting I can alter to try and prevent this.
New laptop, only a few weeks old.
Graphics card : NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated)

Blurry text and images
Hi!
I bought new ZBook couple of days ago and noticed this strange thing. It there from the star when pc was running Win7 and original drivers and it's here now on Win10 and many many updated drivers later (from HP support assistant).
As you can see on pictures text like Device manager or windowe is activated is nice and sharp while other is blurry.
It is alsho happening on some icons getting pixelated in notification bar and some other windows
Intel Hd and AMD firepro drivers are installed.
Any tips?

Touch Screen not working inside Windows
Windows Store and Store Apps were not functioning after the Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 update, so I attempted a fresh install of Windows 10. After successfully completing the update, the touch screen driver vanished, and the touch screen (and sound) stopped functioning. After runing the HP system tests, I found that all touch functions work fine outside of the Operating System (sound test failed), but would not work once windows began booting up.
Device manager shows a single Unknown Device with the Device ID: ACPI\INT3401\0
The Unknown Device reported the problem code: 0000001C

Menu Options showing black
Hi all
Hopeing someone can help...
Various menu options are showing black (see image below). This is happening on what seems like a random basis over a number of different programs (MS Word, MS Notepad, Mozilla Firefox, iTunes) etc.

HP 350 G1 Mute light won't turn on
My laptop's mute light is not turning up now. Initially, it was not turning off and so to fix it, I followed the direction at the link http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/mute-botton-light-indicator-wont-turn-on-on-my-laptop-mute/m-p/5755765/highlight/true#M137137
But the second software was not installed on my laptop and I could'not follow the rest of the direction. Anyway, the mute light was gone but it is not working at all now.
Can anybody help to have the mute light work?

One white bright dot appeared in my hp envy-5 and behaves strangely
One white bright dot appeared in my hp envy-5 and disappears when the monitor is rotated to the ground (the screen and the ground are face to face, as if for gravity towards the ground causes the bright dot to disappear ). The bright dot also disappears when the screen is darker. It's very disappointing for me, because I have just bought this laptop recently 
Please help me to fix this.

i have a synaptics touchpad under Windows 7.
My HP notebook was Windows 10 and was downgraded to Windows 7. My touchpad is too touchy and I continuously find that it moves around the screen while i am typing. I thought that I would just disable it. It shows up on the hardware as a mouse PS2 and it does not have a disable button. I just deleted the install file but it constantly re-loads on a re-boot. I love my HP notebook, but the touchpad is driving me crazy, please help me.

touch pad left button issue
Hello.
I have an issue regarding my new Notebook HP - 15-ay062nl, running Windows 10 Version 1511.
The Touch Pad left button has a strange reaction to pressure, which leads to a difficult everyday use.
When pressed normally (i mean: as any other touch pad button, including the same Notebook's right button) it doesn't work, it works when a little extra-pressure is given. The right button works normally instead.
I'm afraid of damaging it by pressing it too hard repeatedly in normal use.
I think it's a hardware issue (maybe a Touch Pad/Cover assembly issue), since i tried to reverse the buttons' function setting with no change on its sensitivity to pressure. I haven't found a way to set-up the button's sensitivity.
Did anyone experience the same problem?

hi im having trouble with my laptop graphics, every single time i try to just watch a video in full screen my pc just crashes and gives me a black screen for a good 10 minutes until i restart the pc or press "ESC" until it unfreezes. i have tried reinstalling it, clean installing win8 (stock OS). i think it's a very common problem with this model but is there any way to fix it? win10-64bit , 6GBRam, AMD Radeon HD 7660G,

I recently had a MBR type windows 7 but when windows 10 came i liked to install that but due to EFI(GPT) patition style i needed to format whole hard disk .
Now i am running windows 10 pro but when i install my old games they all are saying insufficient video memory.
They were working fine in my previous windows 7.
what should i do??????

Spectre x360 QHD LCD panel backlight PWM
I'm considering to purchase the black/copper Spectre x360 with QHD LCD display.
I was not able to find information about how the display panel backlight works, does it use PWM/backlight flickering for brightness adjustment? I'm quite sensitive to low frequency PWM in displays and TV's and wanted to know this before purchase.
