I just got a new pavilion x360 with Windows 10 and i5 processor. My previous laptop was an hp stream running Windows 10 that I use an external monitor with via the usb cable. When I plug in the monitor to my new laptop nothing is showing up (I did th set up correctly). The monitor is being recognized because I can see it on my devices list but the monitor will say "no data" I checked drivers and it said they were up to date. Please help

HP envy 15-ae top cover
Hi
I've done the stupid and spilt liquid on my device. Warranty does not cover this unfortunately. I have recovered it but need to replace the top cover which includes the keyboard. I have sticky keys and they can't be cleaned.
I have sourced a new top cover but wondered if anyone has any experience of replacing the it with keyboard or know of any advice I can find on the Intenet please?

I uninstalled True Key software and my camera hasn't worked since.
I've done hardware diagnostic checks and they identifed that the camera neede to be re-installed but that hasn't fixed the problem

calibrating monitor for hp Pavilion g7
I am an artist trying to match up the digital photos I saved with the colors the commercial printer prints for me. The samples I ordered from the printer are not matching the colors of my work. One is too dark. One is too orange. The are given to them in RGB format as they specificed. It was suggested I try calibrating my monoitor which may help.
I tried following the display calibration instructionswhich are not that clear. It says I need to use the display menu button. Where is the display menu button? I've been at this for two hours trying to find it on the keyboard, in the manual and via online search. I have no idea where it is talking about. I do see the color brightness buttons. Help is appreciated.

CTRL keys constantly engaged
Hi,
I have a 2 year old 'HP Pavilion 15-p075sa Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)' which has suddenly started to behave as if both CTRL keys are being held down. This makes it impossible to type as the computer treats everything as a shortcut.
I have searched the entire internet to find solutions for this problem:
I've uninstalled and reinstalled various drivers, turned off and on sticky keys, hot keys, touch pad gestures, accessible features, held down certain buttons, played with device settings, cleaned the keyboard and completely reset my laptop... yet still no avail.
The on-screen keyboard shows both CTRL keys to be pressed, and they can be momentarily unstuck by holding both CTRL keys down at the same time.
I have managed to make my computer type letters by using the program "Sharp Keys" to turn off both of my CTRL keys, however the volume/brightness buttons which double up as function keys are still acting as though CTRL is pressed down, and of course this is only a short term fix.
I can't see why this would be a hardware issue as nothing was spilt on the keyboard, the laptop wasn't dropped and isn't very old, however I am considering trying to replace the keyboard which I'm not sure will even be possible due to the design of the laptop (I will post that question in the relevant forum section).
Please could you suggest any other solutions? Thanks

Bright & Dark spots on Laptop screen
I am seriously shocked folks. Shelved out 50k INR for the HP 15-ab219TX 15.6-inch Laptop in March 2016, and gifted to my wife. It's very carefully and lightly used (as I already have an office laptop). But few days back I noticed a bright reflection at bottom of the monitor, I thought it was a reflection from the light source on opposite wall, but the spot remained at all angles and even on switching off the room light. I then noticed another black spot at bottom right corner of screen. I took some pics, but they do not really show the spots as clearly as I phycically see them.
I talked to HP support and the support lady asked for pics from BIOS screen which I sent. After seeing them she said these are pixel issues, sent me a link and said my warrantly doesn't cover them.
This is so bad HP. Having this quality issue within 6months of light use itself is shocking, and then you even disown the flaw. Your documents says its OK to have such spots. What kind of a manufacturer are you?
What should I do now, really disturbed.

Display Flickering
I bought pavilion au003 tx on 12 aug 2016. Since the day after it has the issue of display flickering randomnly. I have complained about it many times and the issue has not been resolved yet. They also changed the cable after my complaint but the problem still persists. Whether it's a software or hardware issue, hp support has not been able to identify it and I am really disgusted.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the updated versions many times as per their advice. I'd be glad to hear solutions.

blank screen
my laptop gave me a warning to plug in computer due to low battery and a few seconds later it went blank and now that i want to restart it acts like the HP screen is going to come on, but just goes to blank screen. it does come up a warning screen, but doesnt stay on long enough to read it before it goes blank or sometimes it just is blank. I tried to do the troubleshooting by doing hard reset thru trying to recover the notebook bios using key press combination. I couldn't figure out where the memory modules were, becuase not like described in troubleshooting. Please help,

Hp 15-ac107nq notebook GRAPHICS DRIVER NOT WORKING
I have a Hp 15-ac107nq notebook which has a amd radeon r5 m300 graphics card.
The problem is that the driver provided by HP doesn't work.
I downloaded sp72646.exe file from here: http://support.hp.com/ro-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-ac100-Notebook-PC-series/8499326/model/10282803
Corresponding to windows 7 64 bit version of the driver.
After all the files are extracted and the setup is supposed to start, nothing happens.
I noticed some processes running in the background but nothing appeared on the screen even after half an hour.
I thought that it might be a .net issue so I Installed .net 4.5 framework but I had the same issue with the installer.
Afterwards I tried installing the amd's official website driver for this graphics card but obviously it doesn't work.
Any ideas?

Random screen flicker - Brand new laptop
Hi All,
I have a brand new HP laptop (2 weeks old) and have found the screen flickers at random intervals (with each flicker lasting 5-7 seconds). Have tried BIOS and chipset upgrade based on the HPSupport recommendation via twitter, but the flickering continues. Can you please help - Feels pretty low when this occurs on a brand new laptop.

Elitebook 2560p blank LCD
First the LCD would go dark but I could still see the page. Now it is completely black but external monitor works perfectly. I think the LCD died. Has anyone else had this problem?
