Hi i have this laptop when i turn it on it just light the screen up but wont show anything on the screen but when i plug it to a monitor it shows a lot of aaaaaaaaa,s all over the monotor screen can you help me?

Vertical Line Down Left Side Of Screen
I have a verticle line running down the left side of my screen on my Probook 640 G1 - model number is T1C08UT#ABA.
I have seen other similar posts and the suggestion was to hook up an external monitor. I did that and the line does not show up when hooked up to the external. Does anyone have any other ideas ? I have used Product Assistant and all my drivers show as up to date. It is under waranty, should I just obtain warranty repair through HP ? THanks in advance.

Hardware Keyboard and Japanese IME
Hello to everybody,
it is the first time I am posting on this forum and I thank in advance whoever would come here to help.
I suspect my issue is very particular if not unique. As a matter of fact, after some days of digging throughout the internet, I haven't found a single reference to my problem, that is:
my hardware keyboard layout is italian but I frequently need to write in japanese so I installed japanese language along with japanese IME input mode. But for the life of me I cannot get the hardware keyboard to type japanese characters. Japanese IME activates, the A for the romaji input shows up, and that's it. I cannot switch to the katakana or hiragana input.
If I try to open the IME options windows this opens up for a second and then closes (as it had crashed).
Same behaviour when I try to access those options from system settings. I tried to uninstall and reinstall 2 or 3 times without success.
Anyway the touch keyboard works flawlessly with Japanese IME. I can enter any kind of japanese character.
What can I do to type in japanese also on the hardware keyboard?

Various issues (touchscreen deleting after Windows 10, battery problems, on/off issues, slow)
I've been having issues with my laptop ever since purchasing in January 2015. I've just about dealt with them but I've had enough now.
My touch screen hasn't worked for a while but was hoping it would just need an update and be ok again. Spent a full day doing various updates etc. and nothing has worked. I have read it could have something to do with Windows 10 changing the touchscreen capabilities. However, on Device Manager> Human Interface Devices there is no "HID-compliant touchscreen" option so I am unable to even enable or uninstall. I've followed every possible solution HP's "customer support" page has offered. I've read a lot of people saying "make sure your device is compatible" - it definitely is. It is branded as a touch screen laptop and I used the screen fine for the first 8 months or so. My last resort is to try a full restore to factory settings but thought I'd see if anyone had any advice first.
In April I had to have the charging port replaced when it one day decided it would stop charging. I am also having issues with battery life (e.g. it can be plugged in for up to two hours and then die within 20-30 minutes.
I feel like there is nothing I haven't tried so I though it would be easiest to contact someone directly, however am unable to find a number or email anywhere. The closest I have got is through twitter but I can't begin to describe my issues in 40 characters. Someone please help

Help! TouchPad isnt working no matter what i tried...
Ystd i accidedntly deleted the driver for my touchpad(Synaptic Driver). Tried installing over and over again it doesnt appear on device mananger . I even tried this (http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-002&h_lang=en&h_cc=us&h_product=3995705&h_page=hpcom&h_client=S-A-R163-1&cc=us&lang=en) but still didnt work as well please help..

touch screen on windows 10 wont work
had this computer for little over 2 months and snce having it the touch screen will not work at all hp 15.1 notebook, touch the screen nothing happens look in device manager cant even find the touch screen in there, any help would be appreciated, thanks

HP Active Stylus Pen stops working temporarilly
If I write with my HP Active Stylus, the pen stops drawing sometimes for just a second, then works again, then stops drawing...
What I did so far:
Win10 all Updates, new batterie AAA, new wacom driver sp74149 and sp75386, support did send me a new stylus pen. Still the same problem. What is wrong?

Система Windows остановила это устройство, так как оно сообщило о возникновении неполадок. (Код 43) вот что появляется в свойствах! Оба драйвера выключаешь,один сразу же включаешь,норм работает,только второй включаешь,сразу оба с этой ошибкой перестают работать! Скачивал отовсюду! Ничто не помогает!

hp 15 notebook G9D74UA windows 10 screen intermittenly goes blank
The screen has been intermittenly going blank but coming right back on since upgrade to anniversary edition windows 10.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is no longer under warranty. Thank You

Touch Screen Driver
A few days ago I ran a Windows 8.1 update; ever since then my Touch Screen hasn't worked.
After going to my Device Manager it shows that the Touch Screen Driver is missing; obviously the Windows update has something to do with that. I also ran the Hardware Troubleshooter and the result was Error 28 - (The drivers for this device are not installed).
I have been looking for a Touch Screen Driver to download but I'm not having any luck finding one. Can sombody please point me in the right direction?

Need driver update on new Laptop to run graphics - says contact mfr
I just purchased a new HP Laptop and I am trying to run a new video game app that says I have a error AP301... apparently the driver installed on my system is the latest and only available from HP as a custom product - I would like to update to the latest Intel driver but the Intel guys send me back to HP as the driver installed on my systme is HP proprietary.... I feel stuck... any suggestions? Scott

Pavillion X360 Windows 10 Laptop mousepad stop working :(
Hi,
These last days the mouse coursor was freezing. And sometimes even disappearing when touching the screen until today the mouse pad gone dead... I have plagged an external mouse and it is working perfectly. I am really sad about it because the laptop is not old at all. I have it only for some months... Any idea on how to fix it?

Chromebook locking up
My Chromebook will come on for a few minutes and then lock up. Cursor doesn't move. Only way to turn off is hold power button over 15 secs. I've troubleshooted with Walmart tech support ( bc I had a warranty when I bought it), they did hold the power button down for 30 secs. Worked for a few days. Eventually it would just blink on and back off. I just started back using it after 5-6 months. It's still freezing. Any suggestions other than get another laptop??
