HP Envy M6 broken Hinge
I'm having the problem with my left hinge. The hinge started to crack out of nowhere and the lid screen did not close properly. I've been trying to find a fix for this for months and the problem is I have no idea how to repair it without spending a LOT of money. The monitor still works but in the beginning when the hinge started cracking I stopped closing the lid all together. It seems as if hp hp should address this issue because it seems to be quite common as I came across this when I googled this problem. I am always very careful with my laptop as I rely on it for word processing.

HP support.
Remote assisstance is a very tricky business. Recently an agent from your team asked for the access to solve an issue regarding the touch screen of my laptop and without informing me he clicked my laptop to sleep and I had all my accounts logged on. I want to know if this remote access support is legitimate? can i trust it? and if so please inform the agents to not shut down the PCs without the customers permission.

Graphic card problem back again
I have a laptop with and a-4 4300 apu + radeon HD graphics which is 7670m.this laptop comes with switchable graphic but past 3 months is really giving me problems, no matter which driver Install switchable don't work. Plus if I restart windows 8 stuck in loop. I am really fed up guyz is there any permanent fix you can give me pls.

Hello! I have a notebook with the built-in video card AMD R5 Graphics and the discrete AMD R5 M430 of 2 GB. The problem consists that GTA V doesn't see my R5 M430, it sees only R5 Graphics, and in settings of a game only 1024 MB are shown. How to solve this problem?

hp envy x360 touch screen not working
Bought a brand new Envy last Thursday, touchscreen did not work. Called support and they remotely worked on it for a few hours ultimately having to restore to factory settings, still did not work. Exchanged laptop at store yesterday and the touchscreen on this one does not work either.
Per the sales person at the store the touchscreen should work with computer in laptop or tablet mode, is this correct?
Is there a known issue with these that I should choose another model?
Is there something that has to be enabled? I have checked the drivers and all is newest version and enabled.

HP Laptop, mouse & touch screen not working properly
I purchased my Laptop 8 months ago with Windows 8. Worked perfectly.
- Upgraded to Windows 10 after 1 week, and still worked perfectly for 7 months.
- Now the mouse and the touch screen does not work properly.
- If I hook up external mouse, it works perfectly.
- Tried to resolve with HP support, but after getting cut off on the support line 3 X finally talked to support who said it is a Windows 10 issue with their drivers, even though it worked perfectly on Windows 10 for 7 months.
- Told me it is not a hardware issue, even though it obviously is, works perfectly with an exteranl mouse, and that I would have to pay $100 for him to supoort looking at the OS Drivers.
- Should I do a wipe, re-install Windows 8, and then phone to get support since HP will not support any issues if you are running Windows 10?

Damage Glass or screen of HP ENVY x360 - 15-w102ne (ENERGY STAR)

I am Akram and living in UAE, Last day my HPEnvy Convertable laptop Screen was broken/damaged by feeling down and its touch is not working on left side of Screen and there is crake shown on left side. Rest of the Screen is okay. i have 10 months warenty pending . Please Advise me what should i do, how can i contact the HP dealer and where are they located in UAE, how much it will cost in AED and if any cheaper way is there to repire it.

Lost Touchscreen/Pen Drivers for HP Spectre x360 13-4003dx
Hey guys, please help. I'm sort of panicking.
The touchscreen and pen worked perfect after initial setup. However, I was experiencing pen pressure problems and decided to download a different driver from here:
The driver I downloaded was the HP Active Pen Control Software 0.0.0.11 Rev.A, which I failed to notice hasn't been updated since Dec 19, 2015.
Upon installing and restarting, my touch screen and pen input no longer work at all.
I am pretty sure this is not a hardware issue seeing as the hardware worked perfect until I installed this.
I tried loading a restore point and then factory resetting, which was probably the worst thing I could do.
Before I did the factory reset, the Pen and Touch devices were hidden, but listed in the Device Manager under HID (human interface devices). Now, they are not there even if I show hidden devices.
Instead, there is only an Unknown Device listed under Other Devices.
When I view its properties, it says
"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."
ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_6007 is the Hardware ID, which I believe to be the touch screen since it wasnt there until I factory reset.
I tried the component test and there was no "touch screen test" option,
There are also no more pen/touch options listed in the Control Panel even though there were before.
It seems that this driver effectively prevents my computer from detecting the touch screen.
Please help me, I like this device and I do not want to return it. I just want to know how to get my drivers working again.

HP Pavilion x360 m1 Convertible keyboard is disabled with screen "flexed" around 360 degrees
HP Pavilion x360 m1 Convertible keyboard becomes disabled with screen "flexed" around 360 degrees.
A larger monitor is plugged into HDMI port and it works fine.
Keyboard works with screen in normal approximately 100 degree postions all the way to flat (180 degrees). But if screen is "flexed" past flat then keyboard becomes disabled. Mouse does work when screen "flexed" or folded.
The unit is new with no software additions. The reason for wanting to fold the screen all the way under is that the space available to rest the laptop on is too narrow to accomodate the full size of the unit with the screen folded out to 180 instead of able to be folded underneath the main body/keyboard.
How to enable keyboard to work with screen folded all the way around 360 degrees?

Problem with video cards
Hello
I have hp pavilion with two graphic cards, first is AMD Radeon HD 8610G (integrated) and the second one is
AMD Radeon R7 M260 (Discrete).
I installed drivers for AMD graphics from HP Support but I think that only one video card is working
Here in Aid64 it shows only integrated video card AMD Radeon HD8610G.
Also in Computer>Sensor>Temperatures it only shows the temperature of 1 GPU diode (after installing the driver from hp support site), it was showing the temperature of both GPUs before installing the drivers
I want both my graphic cards working
What is my mistake?
