How do I turn on the lockscreen so that it locks everytime I close my laptop? Mine is on lockscreen when I turn it on but if I close it, it won't be on lockscreen when I open it again. Also the music keeps playing even when I close my laptop and my sister's laptop doesn't do that. Hers will go to lockscreen and turn off the music and it'll continue playing when she opens the laptop.

Stream X360 Touch Screen not working
I have had this problem for a couple of weeks. I have researched and have done ALL the suggestions offered, including reinstalling Windows 10. I have used HP Support Assistance to make sure all of the updates have been installed. So far, nothing. However lately I have also started having trouble with the mouse and the touch pad. I can move the pointer but punching the mouse button, the enter key or the touch pad has no effect. I have to go into another screen and them back to the one having problems.

HP ProBook 450 G3 - Screen Upgrade
I have just been given a HP ProBook 450 G3 Business Notebook 15.6" Intel i5-6200U, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, AMD Radeon R7 M340 2GB Graphics. It was thought that it had a 1920x1080 FHD display but turns out it only has the HD 1366x768 display.
Can this be upgraded?
If Yes, what is the part number that I need to order from HP to do so and approximitley how much would it cost?

Pavilion dv7-6b55dx Drivers help
I cannot figure out which Intel HD 3000 drivers I'm meant to be using. My laptop has just the Intel HD, not the switchable graphics.
When I try to install just the Intel HD drivers from the HP drivers page, the install stops itself, presumably because the drivers are 32bit and I'm running 64bit, which is what the system came with.
The only drivers I can seem to install are the Intel/AMD Switchable drivers. Are these the ones I'm supposed to use even though I don't have the switchable cards?
I've tried installing the generic Intel drivers, which seem to be much more recent, but I cannot rightly figure out which ones to use properly to get the best performance and stability.
One thing I noticed, when I'm running the Intel/AMD switchable driver it tells me the Direct X version is 10.1
When I install the latest Intel HD 3000 (2449 I believe) it says Direct X11
Everytime I read one of these questions, inevitably, someone responds with something absurd like "Scan you're computers virus make sure the drivers are installed into the hard drive after that download malwarebytes and send me the full read-out" or some other such absolute nonsense. Please do not waste my time that, it truly is asinine. If you don't know the answer to my question, please do not respond.

I expected better from HP than to be abandoned this quickly.

Poor picture quality from Pavilion 15-aw065sa on Samsung monitor
This is the third laptop I use with a Sumsung LE32B450C4W monitor. The other two plug in with VGA and look superb on the monitor. I have connected this HP laptop with HDMI and the picture quality on the monitor is really poor - colours are all wrong and text is pixellated. Do I need to install drivers onto the laptop for the monitor? I'm at a bit of a loss! Thanks so much.

HP Envy 15 Touchscreen Problem
My laptop's touchscreen capability has vanished ever since I installed windows 8.1 but all the solutions I have found have proven to be useless. Touch screen has disapeared from device manager and calibrate touch screen has disapeared and I used to be able to use touchscreen previously. It seems hopeless but I wowuld love for someone to be able to help me wiht this problem. Maybe returning to older versions? I dont know quite frankly

hp envy 13 webcam issues
Hi guys,
The webcam on my laptop works when I open the Youcam app or skype without moving the laptop. But when I try to move the laptop it says webcam not detected. Same thing happens when I touch the black border around the screen. I am guessing its a wire connection issues or something. And HP support does not have techinical support page to contact them. My laptop is still under warranty BTW.

Graphic cards do not communicate after updates
In my laptop are two graphic cards, one intell hd graphics 5500, and a AMD firepro. I use this laptop for work for solidworks. But everytime there is an update for one of the two cards, and i install them, they dont work together anymore. I get error's in my screen after starting up and solidworks doesnt work anymore. I have no clue how to solve it and if this will happen everytime there is an update i'm screwed.

Which HP laptops support internal AND 2 x external displays simultaneously?
Hi Guys
One of our important clients has asked us me to quote for a HP laptop that supports the internal AND 2 x 2xternal screens simultaneously as they have a finance package they want to use that needs three screens.
I've looked at the newer Spectre range which have 3 x Type-C ports which would indicate that two of these could be used for screen but I can't find any info to confirm whether 2 external screens will work at the same time along with the internal

Youcam cyberlink has stopped recording videos
I have been recording videos with the Youcam Cyberlink but recently the videos haven't been recording properly. Once it recorded without sound, but now even though it looks like it's recording. There is no video saved at the end of the record.
Can you suggest a fix for this? Thank you.

Need Universal Serial Bus controller drivers for G42-415DX
Just reinstalled Win& from Recovery disks and is performing well, except for all US ports not working. There is an exclamation mark under ALL Universal Serial Bus controllers.
Thur internet, I downloaded a Lenovo website link to Intel file to install the drivers, but it comes back to say the computer does not meet the minimum requirement.
I'm lost without use of a USB mouse and other uses of USB ports.

Video driver
So, I wiped my hard drive clean to reinstall Win 7 and didn't write down my graphics driver. I used the two AMD drivers from the support site and neither work. The first selection says I don't have the resources. The second one with the ATI driver and catalyst causes the blue screen of death. What graphic card (if there is one) would my laptop have come with? Intel?

Wireless dock no longer support higher resolution with my Elite 1012 after update.
I had recently updated drivers and bios of my HP Elite x2 1012 G1. I have 27" display with native resolution of 2560 x 1440 connected via HP wireless dock. After update system starts with resolution 1920x1200 and there is no longer option to set to display's native resolution. I have newest drivers and bios and software installed for notebook and dock. Any help ?

Display adapters Code 43 after processor update
Hello,
I recently swapped out the A8 4500 APU in favor of an A10 4600 M APU (The chipsets are compatible as per page 1 of this manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03277661) recently and ran some issues with the graphics.
I updated both drivers individually to the same version (15.200.1065.0) and can enable each of them individually, but when I try to enable both together, they stop working and show a yellow excalamation mark in device manager.
Is there something else I should do to enable dual graphics or should I install some other drivers?
Also upon booting, the AMD Catalyst Control Center tells me there are no graphic drivers installed. Please assist.

My brand new notebook was defective! The touchscreen did not work. I'm sending it in to Memphis, but I have to wait for the credit and purchase it again! I bought it on sale! Perhaps, I now know WHY it was on sale!
The executive complaint guy(Aaron) no longer returns my calls after the awful review I have HP. I'm sending it back, waiting for my credit and going straight to Dell! I cannot wait another three weeks for one to ship from China!
