SCALING ISSUE WITH HP SUPPORT CHAT WINDOW IN QHD LAPTOPS
The support chat window on QHD laptop screens is so TINY that its impossible to see what the tech is saying. This has been a problem for at least a year, and there have been numerous complaints about this issue... yet the problem remains unresolved. How is this possible?? As someone who spent 1500 for a QHD laptop, overlooked details like these are unacceptable and make me REGRET BUYING AN HP LAPTOP.
Please prioritize this simple fix so that current HP laptop owners (like me) would actually recommend your product to others. When it comes to high-tech gear, its all about the details, and this is one glaring detail that would prevent me from recommending your laptops to others.

Screen flashes black but comes right back on.
Hi,
My problem is that the screen keeps flashing black, just for a second, and then coming right back. It's not really a problem, but it seems like it's happening with increasing frequency.
The computer is fairly new--less than 6 months old. It's connected to wifi most of the time, I run Opera as a browser, and have a Dropbox account I'm hooked into. I only have about 4gigs free on the hard drive, and the memory (as shown in the task manager) is usually around 85%. I work online, and do have a lot of tabs open at once, so the load can get heavy (that's why I switched to Opera, it was freezing up with Firefox's heavy load).
Any insight would be appreciated--I just want to know it's not heading towards a crash! Or if it is, if ther's anything I can do about it.

Switching the Scroll Direction on Omen Computer
Hi!
So I have just made the switch back to the world of PCs and Windows after using a MacBook exclusively for 8 years. What I am trying to do is switch the mousepad scroll direction. It used to have an option on my Mac for changing the scroll direction to the opposite way, but I cannot find this same option for the new laptop. Maybe I am not looking in the right place, I have not used Windows 10 before, last time I used a PC, it still had Windows XP on it, so I've been out of this game for a lonnggggg time. Its not a deal breaker or anything, but I'm gonna have to retrain 8 years of muscle memory if there's not an option. Does the Omen laptop have a mousepad that is capable of switching scroll direction to the opposite way, or am I just out of luck?

fps is getting low
hey, i have hp pavilion notebook 15-au001ne with cpu i7core and gpu nvidia geforce 940 and ram 8 gb,
my proplem is that while im playing with the charger plugged in the game works very well, once the charge is plugged off the fps starts to get low and i have lags, can anyone help me please ?

Omen Black Screen
While doing stuff - gaming, netflix, office work, anything - the screen sometimes randomly goes black. It's still illuminated, but it's black. Everything still works, if netflix is up the show keeps playing. If I'm on skype or chat, it still keeps running as if they screen works fine. It's very frustrating, I bought my first omen on Monday, returned it yesterday citing this problem and replaced it hoping it was a hardware issue. It apparently is not, because this one is doing the same exact thing.
Things I have done:
Updated everything. BIOS. The Nvidia GTX 865M. The Intel HD Graphics 530 driver. Thermal Framework. Display audio drivers. If I could update it, it's been updated.
Reset everything: clean wipe and reset.
Changed laptops entirely.
This might seem minor, but if anything the issue is happening more frequently than before. I like the performance... except for this issue, this is a deal breaker, and I would have to have to return this laptop and find a different one.

Touchscreen behavin absurdly : HP Pavilion x360 u004tu
Hello Everyone!
Its been 5 hours since i have started using my brand new HP Pavilion x360 u004tu, and it's touchcreen has started misbehaving. By this i mean there is an invisible line about 1.5 inches from the left margin of the screen on which suddenly a lot of touch marks appear and the screen starts taking these bizarre inputs. Then so many things open on the screen interrupting my work. I even tried to turn off and then on the touchscreen. But this problem has persisted.
WHat could be the possible cause for this? is the screen defective?
What should I do? Should i send back the laptop or is there any driver etc whose installation might help me in troubleshooting this issue.

Synaptics Touchpad Scroll function is not Working correctly with Windows 10 Native Apps
Hello Team,
I'm facing a strange technical issue with my Laptop TouchPad scroller on HP ProBook 4520S.
TouchPad scroll works fine with almost every application except Windows native Apps i.e. Start Menu, Stores, NEWS etc.
Its working absolutely with Windows Explorer, Google Chrome, Excel, Word, Power Point but no luck with Windows Native Apps.
I have tried almost every thing i.e. Registry Key changes, Changing settings under Devices> Mouse & TouchPad but no luck at all on this. Also tried updating latest driver for Synaptics TouchPad.
If any of you are aware of this issue pls advise the fix for it?
Detail are as per below:
OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
TouchPad: Synaptics ClickPad V7.4
PS: Earlier it was working fine with Windows 8.1 Pro.

crimson drivers cause the whole system to lag everywhere
I have a hp 15-af006ax, i have been using this laptop since 10 months. The specs are listed below
Processor : AMD A8-7410 apu with integrated R5 graphics.
RAM : Laptop shipped with 4gb ddr3, i added another 4gb stick in the other slot. so total is 8 gb ddr3 .
GPU : AMD Radeon R5 M330 .
while using the catalyst drivers given by hp on the drivers page which are TOTALLY OUTDATED, the laptop runs lag-free, but i can't play a few games like forza motorsport and grid autosport which demand to update the graphics drivers.
So i went to amd drivers page and downloaded their latest drivers i.e., crimson 16.7.3. and the installation went fine, but after restarting, "EVERYTHING" IN THE SYSTEM LAGS. from typing on a notepad , scrolling on a browser or in file explorer to playing games and watching videos. Even as i type this here there is a lag, the leters appear on the screen with a lag of 1-2 seconds.
I have tried all the crimson editions (very tiring) and all the crimson editions give the same lag or worser give a BSOD.
Only the outdated catalyst drivers work. This totally FREAKS me out and makes me slap myself for purchasing this product. I totally regret buying this laptop.

When pressing @ key it doesn't work. Displays " instead. # key comes out as a /. Tried using shift, alt and combinations. No use.

Audio and trackpad functions unstable after W10 upgrades
At the end of my tether with this - both audio and trackpad drivers, post W10 upgrades, are unstable. They'll work for a bit then stop, and I have to uninstall the drivers and reinstall to get them to work. The HP Assistant is worse than useless since it refers to actions which aren't available on my machine.
Anyone managed to resolve these driver issues permanently? I'm having to use the £250 laptop I bought this £1000 laptop to replace, which is ridiculous. I might as well have the grand back!

How to Enable Nvidia GTX 960M
I'm going through the initial setup of the the new system which includes the Nvidia graphics. All drivers, devices, etc, seem to be installed for it but when I check the display adapter properties it shows that I'm running on the integrated Intel 530 graphics and not the Nvidia controller. I can't find any setting that will allow me to switch between graphics controllers. What am I missing?

Screen flickering au003tx
Hi
I just bought a hp Pavillion au003tx and found out that the display is blinking randomly. After some research, I found out that the screen is flickering because of mobile signal. When i turn on my mobile data and bring it close to my laptop's screen, it blinks. My laptop is just 12 days old. I've already replaced it once, last laptop had some motherboard problem. I found few more users having the same problem on the forums without any solution. Please help me resolve this issue, its getting annoying.
