a bug is stuck on my laptop screen , will guys at the hp service center be able to remove it from my display ?
its like stuck there , do any of you guys have a solution to remove the bug from my screen please help , i just bought my laptop a few weeks back

So...
My problem is I have alot of artefacts in some games. And first step in any recomendation - update video drivers. So I tryed to update it from HP site, but newest version for my notebook is 8.712.1.2000 (april 2010). (notebook i bought december 2010). Ok. I downloaded fresh driver from AMD 15.7.1 (march 2016). After installation in summary it sais about parameters not proper and linking to Radeon HD 4250 (not 5650). And Radeon HD 4250 must be update via Windows Update, but Windows use Radeon HD 5650 (and I want use 5650 to, bcouse windows rating 6.7 for 5650 and 4.2 for 4250!). Difference in Catalyst versions that i notice - 03.00.0765(from HP site) have "ATI NorthBridge filter driver" and new ones havn't.
Sorry, that was to much, yeah? So questions. How 2 video cards can be in one notebook? Why i need 4250? How i can update Radeon 5650?
I recently bought my Spectre x360-13-4107no (ENERGY STAR) and it works great! Except for one thing... I have a Dell Active Pen- PN556W and want to use it with my Spectre. Connecting them is no problem, and if i double press on the top of the pen when it is connected Onenote opens. However, i can't get the screen to respond to what i do with the pen. Touching the screen with my finger works great, but not with the pen. So is this a driver issue or what? I noticed that this Spectre model have firmware updates that people said fixed the problem, but i can't find any similar updates on my model... And i guess the other computers firmware isn't compatible with my computer...
I really would love your help!

I am currently running the Intel Graphics Driver version 10.18.10.3958 which seems to work OK, At some stage I downloaded an update, 10.18.15.4248 which supposedly supports Windows 10. This driver creates havoc with the brightness - in particular the brightness controls are reversed. Even though I have tried deleting this driver through the device manager including selecting the option to remove the software it keeps coming back. For no apparent reason the screen wil turn black for a second or two and lo and behold the 4248 driver has reloaded and agsin I have to try rolling back the driver or 'deleting' it. How can I get rid of it completely?
cortana is not working and appear a warning as cortana isn't supported in the region and language selected.
I had a small black dot appear on my screen, over time this has got bigger and appears as a line thicker in the middle i dont know how to send a picture I have looked online but nothing looks like my problem. The line is now a problem and is half way across screen. My laptop is just over two years old and I had a new screen whilst still under warranty as I had a shadow at the bottom right hand corner.
Will I need a new screen or is this something else.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have a big issue on using Google Hangouts when my Notebook is docked.
As soon as I try to connect to a Hangouts meeting the PC goes in blue screen.
Everything works well when I'm not using the docking station.
Docked configuration:
Drivers and firmwares updated to the latest version.
Tried also to update the docking firmware to 2.28.000 Rev.A (sp74203) with no changes.
2.30.000 Rev.A(18 apr 2016) could be used for my model too even if not listed?
Any help would be appreciated.

My Aunt just dropped her G62-225NR laptop and broke the screen so I replaced it. After I put the new screen in the new screen flashes the hp logo at startup and sometimes the Windows warning stating Windows was not shut down properly will flash but the the screen goes black. Connecting an external monitor works and I've checked all drivers, the monitor was working fine before she dropped it. The only thing I'm considering at this point is that I may have gotten a bad LCD unless someone else has any other suggestions. I've read the forums and tried most of the recommended fixes but nothing has worked.
Any recommendations are much appreciated.

Acer monitor won't function properly with newly acquired Envy x360 laptop. Using "extend" option so as to utilize dual screens when working. Mouse stays on laptop unless I continually try and move it to appear on acer monitor. Also cannot move any open windows to acer monitor. HP telling me I need ' recovery media ' which they are sending through the mail . . .. anyone experiencing same issue?
My number will not unlock on the number pad, they work well with number above the letter, I have hit the unlock too many times and it will not unlock, can you help?
I bought this laptop on the 13th August 2015 but I managed to fix my Samsung laptop & kept the HP in it's box unused as a spare.
I've decided to upgrade to Windows 10 before the 29th July but before I did I checked the laptop to make sure everything worked & I now find that neither the internal webcam nor the internal microphone work.
In Device Manager there isn't an entry for audio inputs and outputs nor is there an entry for Imaging devices & YouCam5 also says that there's no webcam connected.
In sound video & game controllers it shows
AMD High definition Audio Device
Cyberlink WebCam Virtual Driver
Realteck High Definition Audio
All three are shown as working properly & the drivers are shown as being the most up to date.
After trying numerous fixes I've come to the conclusion that it's a hardware fault unless anyone knows differently.
If I upgrade to Windows 10 & then send it in for repair will HP accept it for repair as I can't see it being turned round before the 29th July.
P.S. The laptop is in it's out-of-the-box factory condition with non of the software being touched & non added.

Hi, now i use HP ENVY 4-1112 TX ultrabook
I just upgraded win 8.1 to win 10
all driver has installed properly (there is no issue in devices manager list)
my problems are:
- i couldnt find where i can adjust screen brightness, the shorcut on keyboard (f2&f3) no effect.
- it was perfectly worked at existing 8.1
- time for windows on / off take too long now. it seem intel rapid stoarge technology doesnt work.
so, any one can help? because many ways to solve (from google) doesnt work.
