How do I disable the pinchzoom on the screen in windows 7?. I know it can be done in windows 8.1 in the mouse properties under the hardware tab but windows 7 does not have a harware tab in the mouse properties.

Cant use touchpad while holding down keys
Sorry if Im posting this in the wrong forum but I just got a brand new HP Notebook and I cannot use the touchpad when holding down keys. I am trying to play a game that requires the touchpad to look around but I cannot. Ive already tried turning off palmcheck and this only allowed me to look around for a short second before the cursor locked up and i wouldnt be able to look around again until I wasnt pressing any keys. Please help ive been looking everywhere for a solution and this is my last hope.

no touch screen after SDD replacement
After having issues with my laptop, diagnostics showed that I needed to replace my HDD. It was replaced with an SSD, and windows 10 was reinstalled (as that was the OS before replacement). Now the laptop shows that there is "no pen or touch input" in the control panel and the Human Interfacing for touch screen is missing. Both Windows Update and HPSA have been no help in finding the driver for it or in giving any useful information. I just don't really want to have paid extra for touch that doesn't work....

Cyberlink power dvd no longer loads or plays dvds
I've never had any problem playing DVDs; when I put in a DVD, it automatically brought up Cyberlink Power DVD 12 and played the movie. Now, the program doesn't load and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

G6 Analog Video Output Error on WMP11 DVD Playback
Certain DVD's give me an error "Windows media player cannot play this DVD because it not possible to turn on analog copy protection (try updating the display driver)
In my Hardware List I had Microsofts "Standard VGA Adapter" set for this which must be wrong, but when I install HP's ATI Driver it does not change this driver. When I right click and Update Driver to search the web or the new ATI folder made, either run it tells me I have the most current driver, the Standard VGA. I cant help but feel something got jacked here but when I deleted and reinstalled this piece of hardware, still the same driver reinstalled!
I would try to go to Microsoft Support but they'll probably send me back here.
1. Any other models perhaps have a compatible driver I could try?
2. How could I know if a driver has "analog copy protection" feature?
PLEASE HELP, I CANT HARDLY PLAY ANY DVDS!!!

Nvidia graphics card troubleshoot.
Hi,
I spent 2 days browsing for a solution before posting this.
My Nvidia graphics card just disappeared. It's gone from the device manager as well.
I've tried every solution posted on this forums and on Nvidia and every other website. Didn't work.
When I start installing through GeForce, or a direct download from HP drivers support I get an 'No compatible hardware was found' message.
Tried unisntalling Nvidia and reinstalling windows and intel chipsets.
Tried the DDU program.
Tried everything.
Please if there is any new fix for this issue, kindly share it with me.

streaming, messages states cannot stream from laptop

touch pad and rotate monitor not working
Suddenly, my touchpad mouse is not working anymore... theres a message on system telling SYNAPTICS SMBUS IS NOT WORKING, IS NOT PRESENT OR IS WITHOUT THE CORRECT DRIVERS...
Theres also the problem that i could not ROTATE the second monitor.
Can yomeone help me on this?

Very fast Intel 530 drivers for HP Pavilion 15-AB292NR (intel 10.18.15.4279 driver, from Sept. 2015)
Just an FYI for anyone owning the HP Pavilion 15-AB292NR ("Flagship") 15" notebook (Windows 10 Home x64):
I've found that the older intel (HP) 10.18.15.4279 drivers from September, 2015 are *much* faster than the latest intel (HP) 20.19.15.4360 drivers.
As in: 60% faster, both in real world gaming FPS and in synthetic benchmarks.
Passmark 3D score: newest drivers: 731 Older driver: 1164 (higher numbers are better)

HP Pavilion g6-1251er GT520M Windows 10 drivers problem
I have a problem with my HP Pavilion g6-1251er laptop after update on windows 10.
There is not working drivers for GT520M video card. All new drivers cause code 43 error.
I tried everything:
1) driver windows 10 update - code 43
2), all version of drivers from win 10 from Nvidia Site - code 43
3) driver from HP Support assistant - code 43
If i return the system to windows 7 my GT 520M is ok, but only with driver from HP site, but this driver is very old - date 2011 . all new drivers for win 7 from nvidia site not working code 43.
Please solve this problem.

My HP laptop has a built in webcam, but it isn't being detected by software and don't see it listed under device manger. Is there a way to reinstall it if I don't have CD that came with Computer?

Touch Pad Driver
Shame on you HP for not including the ALPS driver for my notebook touchpad on your site. Yes, I know this product is no longer supported, but it still operates perfectly in Win 7 and in Win 10 also, except for the touchpad driver. Even though the notebook is not supported, you still have all the other drivers, just not this one. Why not this one? A Microsoft tech was able to find a work around and at least I have a partial touch pad. I was thinking about upgrading in the near future with an HP, but after this I really am going to reconsider my options.
