I opened my Hp Envy Ts m6 sleekbook and the screen cracked. It's got a crack from the top left corner diagonally all the way to the bottom of the screen, two coming diagonally down from the right side to the bottom of the screen where it has several smaller cracks meeting all in the same area in all directions . My laptop isn't under warranty anymore and I got it in December of 2013 . How can I go about fixing this, Would hp help? I'm not sure how expensive this is to get fixed. Thank you

Blue Screen Error
When the Laptop is connected to the power socket, it throws the "Blue Screen Error" with a most common message of "Try changing Video Adapter."
When the machine is running on a safe mode, with power socket connedted, it will function for hours togeather, but in routine mode it gives Blue screen error at random time with message knep.sys or Video adapter change.
How to get rid of this error? Can anybody suggest?

Keyboard not working properly on new laptop
Hello, I just purchased my new laptop today and am having issues with the keyboard. The keyboard will not keep up with my typing and misses many letters. There is not only a delay, but many keys are missed. Should I return and exchange it for another model? Have you had previous issues with this model? If theres no easy solution, I will exchange for something else. Thank you.

After spending quite decent money for an HP x360 4103dx (i7, 256 SSD, 8Gb RAM) few months ago, I am finding myself incrediby disappointed by the lack of professional grade stylus available under the synaptics umbrella. Surface pro 3 pen is a way more decent than the cracky active pen from HP which is only working for taking notes (with the risk of cracking the screen given how hard I need to push to see my trait).
Do you think to implement somehow some software solution to make the new Wacom AES compatible with this laptop?

C3Q78UA#ABA Pavilion g7 screen brightness buttons not working
I recently updated my AMD display driver (Radeon 7640G I think) and now my brightness buttons, keyed to F2 and F3 are not working. The rest of my buttons are working fine so it is not the keyboard. I also cannot change it when I press the battery button on my taskbar (both brightness and battery saver are unavailable). This is a major issue because now my screen it at the lowest brightness possible and I have to work with my lights off (and even then it's still difficult to see). I tried updating my drivers but there was nothing available to update. I've been trying to update drivers for my HP printer though both updates receive an error message:
(1) Hewlett-Packard - Enterprise WSD Multi-Function Printer, Multi-Function Printer, Other hardware - Null Print - HP ENVY 7640 series - Error 0x8024200b
(2) HP driver update for Fax - HP ENVY 7640 series - Error 0x80240017
Microsoft Support tried to help with the error message (and reportedly tried to fix Windows Update) but after they "helped" me this brightness issue starting occurring. If it means anything, when my computer boots up, a new screen appears that says something about Watch Dogs. That used to never appear until MS. I'm not sure if that is the issue though.

It used to work before but stopped after i updated OS to windows 10. Now i am back on windows 7. Still the same issue.

Power & Sleep Problems
Hi All,
I am having problems with my sleep settings and power settings. When my laptop goes to sleep, it will not wake with my mouse, and when I shut down, the power button will not shut the laptop off? I have tried every senenero possible and no luck. Help??? What should the power and sleep settings be set at for my use?

white horizontal lines on screen that recede to bottom within a minute
Hi again. I previously posted on this issue so there are images and a complete description from my post a few days ago. Briefly, when the laptop has been shut down or sleeping for more than a few hours there are white horizontal lines on the bottom part of the screen that slowly recede completely to the bottom. The lines do not show up on an external monitor running in duplicate mode.
I have removed the screen twice now and checked/reseated the connections at the screen and under the keyboard. The problem persists. I flashed the BIOS a few days ago and the problem persists. The webcam, mic, and WWAN/WLAN are all in perfect working condition and the computer works extremely well aside from this screen issue.
Before I drop any more money on this used laptop my only question at this point is does this sound like strictly a screen/display cable issue? If it was a motherboard problem would I be seeing other problems? If it's the graphics card going bad would I be seeing other problems? Like I said, the computer works perfectly once it's operating.
Anybody have any helpful ideas?

need to correct text size
Text size problem. My cat ran across the keyboard and hit a key that caused the text size to shrink. I have tried to correct this problem through the display settings, but it doesn't work. Is there a key I can hit to bring the size big enough to read?

My screen goes black but i don't want it to go black but i said to not go black?
Hey guys, i got my computer fixed a while ago and what i tried to do is set it so my computer doesn't turn off when i turn the lid down. It worked but the thing is my display goes black. I don't want it to go black because last night I was streaming all night and I went to sleep because I was streaming a youtube live count. I came home from school today to see that sommeone in my house turned off my display by putting the lid down. I don't want that to happen. Someone, please help?
My computer is not off but the display is off and my stream froze because of it.

[HP ELITEBOOK 8570W] Displayport not working
While I was working couple of days ago, my external monitor suddenly went black. I was using hdmi to displayport converter in order to connect monitor to my laptop. However, even though I have bought a new converter and a new hdmi cable, it is still not working.
The interesting part is when I disconnected the cable from my laptop, monitor says "please connect the cable". However, when I connect the cable again, it waits for a while and says "no video output" and when I disconnect, it again says "please connect the cable".
So I believe that it is not purely a hardware issue but yet I can get no signal to displayport even if I use linux boot cd,
reinstall drivers or reinstall windows.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S. my graphics card is Nvidia quadro k2000m and I am mainly using my computer for CAD and CAE simulations for designing ships. So larger screen is a must for me. My external screen is 27" full hd philips gioco.

hp omen no longer running smoothly
So I bought this HP Omen almost a year ago now and have had, sadly, nothing but problems with it. First the keybindings dont work, then it says it's plugged in not charging, and then the screen starts to flicker. But I'm determined to at least make it run a game smoothly. Which it is not doing currently. Incredibly laggy to the point of crashing upon moving past any title screen. And I know it's an issue if I can play said game on my lenovo with a much weaker processing unit.
So far, Ive forced it to use the Nividia graphic and not the integrated one; I've made sure power settings our own high performance even though it's now been telling me plugged in but not charging; and I've scanned for viruses. But nothing. Still incredibly laggy.
Any suggestions?
