Microsoft snuck in under my guard 3 weeks ago and started upgrading my Windows 7 OS to Windows 10 without my assent while I was not in front of my laptop. When I noticed what was happening I reluctantly let the process run its course. I have since encountered numerous problems. The main source of problems appears to be that the laptop's AMD Mobility Radeon HD5000 series graphics drivers are no longer functioning, apparently taken over by Microsoft drivers.
AMD gave 2 driver updates: Catalyst 15.7.1 and Crimson Edition 16.2.1 Beta.
I installed 15.7.1 but still had non function message.
I then installed 16.2.1 with still no result.
Should I just give up on getting my AMD drivers working and make do with whatever Microsoft has done which has mucked up the graphics on my HP DVD and Vivo TV applications ?
